With taller buildings and larger typhoons, the impact of building winds is growing. During the 11th Typhoon Hinnamno in 2022, the building wind in Busan L City exceeded 60m/s, reaching the highest speed ever. Although many studies have been conducted on reducing the wind load of buildings, which is one of the problem factors caused by strong wind speed, there is a lack of research on wind speed reducing sculptures that can directly control strong wind speed. In this paper, several types of wind speed reduction sculptures were proposed to solve these problems, and the wind speed reduction capability of the proposed sculptures was analyzed through computational fluid dynamics (CFD). These results can contribute to suggesting effective design methods for improving the urban environment and reducing pedestrian stress.

As the available resources are gradually depleted, interest in renewable energy is increasing. Various energy harvesting technologies are emerging, and energy harvesting using solar, solar, and wind power is used in the highest range. Depending on the abnormal climate, solar heat and solar power differ in energy harvest, but the wind is fixed compared to the sun. Therefore, it was intended to maximize the effect of energy harvesting by using the venturi effect, which has a change in wind speed according to the turbine used for wind power generation and wind pressure. Therefore, in this paper, we want to see the difference in the amount of power generated by the turbine after increasing the wind speed using the venturi effect.

We observed the changes of body temperature and the cytokine expressions in the hypothalamus of rats to investigate the effect and mechanism of antipyretic action of acupuncture. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS, i.p., 2.5 mg/kg was injected into rats and manual acupuncture was performed on Shaofu (HT8), Zutonggu (BL66) or Xingjian (LR2), respectively. The results showed that fever induced by LPS-injection was recovered significantly by acupuncture on each acupoint. LPS increased hypothalamic mRNA levels of interleukin-6 and interleukin-1β which, on the contrary, were also reduced to normal levels by acupuncture stimulation on BL66. These results suggest that the acupuncture stimulation may be effective for reducing elevated body temperature induced by baaerial inflammation, and part of its action may be mediated through the suppression of hypothalamic production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. ⓒ 2002 Elsevier Science lreland Ltd. Objectives : The purpose of this study is to review research papers published by Korean research groups on biophoton of human beings based on experiment subject and methodology. Methods : In order to review human biophoton research executed in Korea, all the papers published in Korean and international journals by Korean research groups were selected. Several key foreign papers were also reviewed for clarification of this study. Based on experiment subjects, experiment methodology, and interpretation of experiment results were analyzed. On each experiment, its original interpretation was directly quoted. Issues on the experiment methodology and interpretation were expressed at the end of each subject. Results and Conclusions : We found that experiments on human biophoton were compelling. However it seemed that mom experiments, especially on their sample sizes, ate needed to demonstrate its clinical application. Interpretations based on Korean traditional medicine also need to be elaborated more. In order to do accomplish clinical application of biophoton, interdisciplinary works are required. Some suggestions on biophoton experiments were made.
