Purpose: This study aims to classify multiple forms of home care services from a service user's perspective. By comparing the German system to the Korean one, this study seeks to find better ways of enhancing client-centered care. Methods: The data of 121 home care users were collected from six home care centers that had under the management of nursing managers for more than five years. The researcher used a German instrument to estimate the level of care. Results: High correlation was found between German and Korean assessment criteria (r=0.81, p<.001). However, compared to their German counterparts, Korean home care providers allocated more time towards provision of domestic help per daily visit. German home care providers allocated more time towards services relating to provision of support for physical activities, including personal hygiene. It was confirmed that the level of care in Korea does not correlate with either the categories of home care services and duration. Conclusion: Therefore, care services should be offered according to long-term care needs. This study suggests a need for systematic care aimed at strengthening the client's autonomy which should be properly planned, implemented, and managed.

A Gram-negative bacterium capable of degrading thiodiglycol (TDG), main hydrolysis product of sulfur mustard, was isolated from ginseng field in enrichment medium supplemented with TDG as carbon source. The isolate, WS-32, grew optimally at $30-37^{\circ}C$ and pH 6.0-8.0. It was found to be similar to the genus Cupriavi연 on the basis of 165 rRNA sequence, while its biochemical properties were highly homologous to Alcaligenes faecalis. The cell growth of WS-32 strain was slightly inhibited on LB broth by TDG, but the maximum level of its growth was maintained stably in the presence of TDG. After incubation of inoculated LB medium or uninoculated LB medium containing TDG for 2 days, TDG amount of the culture filtrate was analyzed to decrease noticeably by HPLC. TDG and alcohols were also oxidized by cell-free extract of the isolate with maximum activities at pH 8.0 and $45^{\circ}C$.
사질토 지반에서 흙막이벽체-지하공간 연속 굴착에 따른 지반거동에 대한 실험적 연구

The ground movement and changes in earth pressure due to the consecutive construction of retaining wall and underground space were studied experimentally. A soil tank having 160 cm in length and 120 cm in height, was manufactured to simulate the vertical excavation like retaining wall by using 10 separated right side walls and underground space excavation like tunnel by using 5 separated bottom walls. The variation of earth pressure and surface settlement were measured according to the excavation stages. The results showed that the decrease of earth pressure due to the wall movement can cause the increase of earth pressure of the neighboring walls proving the arching effect. Experiments simulating continuous construction sequence also identified arching effect, however only 50% of earth pressure was restored on the 10th right side wall due to the movement of 1st bottom side wall unusually.
대장균으로부터 생산된 Bacillus licheniformis WL-12의 Cellulase 특성

Carboxymethyl celluase (cellulase) was purified from cell-free extract of the recombinant Escherichia coli carrying a Bacillus licheniformis WL-12 cellulase gene by DEAE-Sepharose and phenyl-Sepharose column chromatography with specific activity of 163 U/mg protein. The molecular mass of the purified enzyme was estimated to be approximately 49.5 kDa by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The enzyme had a pH optimum at 5.5 and a temperature optimum at $55^{\circ}C$. The activity of the enzyme was completely inhibited by SDS (5 mM), and slightly enhanced by $Cu^{2+}$ (5 mM). The cellulase was active on CMC, konjac, barely glucan and lichenan, while it did not exhibit activity towards xylan, locust bean gum, and p-nitrophenyl-$\beta$-glucopyranoside. The predominant products resulting from the cellulase hydrolysis were cellobiose and cellotriose for cellooligosaccharides including cellotriose, cellotetraose and cellopentaose. The enzyme could hydrolyze cellooligosaccharides larger than cellobiose.
지하굴착 이격거리에 따른 흙막이벽체 거동에 대한 실험적 연구

본 연구에서는 지상구조물 건설을 위하여 흙막이 벽체를 이용하여 지하굴착이 이루어진 지역에 근접하여 새로운 지하공간이 신설될 때, 지하굴착과 흙막이 벽체간의 이격거리에 따른 흙막이 벽체에 작용하고 있던 토압의 변화 및 지표 침하 변화를 실험적으로 연구하였다. 지하공간 굴착 단계별로 흙막이 벽체의 토압 변화 및 지표 침하를 측정할 수 있는 길이 160 cm, 높이 120 cm의 모형 토조를 제작했다. 실험은 균일하게 조성된 사질토 지반에서 하부 지반에 변위를 가하고, 수직한 흙막이 벽체의 토압 변화 및 지표면 침하를 확인하는 방식으로 수행하였다. 모형실험은 인접한 지하공간 굴착에 따른 흙막이 벽체의 높이별 토압을 측정하기 위하여 흙막이 벽체를 모사하는 우측 벽체 10개 및 지하공간 굴착을 모사하는 하부 벽체 5개로 구성하고 하부벽체를 거동시킴으로서 지하굴착을 모사하였다. 실험 결과, 하부 1단 벽체의 거동 시에는 흙막이 벽체의 토압에 변화가 발생하였으나, 하부 3단의 경우는 지하 굴착이 흙막이 벽체와 충분히 이격되어 토압변화가 크게 발생하지 않았다. 하부 1단 벽체를 굴착한 결과, 우측 하단부 벽체 주변의 응력이 감소되고, 우측 중간부 벽체 주변으로 응력이 재분배되는 아칭현상을 증명할 수 있었다.

가을은 단풍 산행을 위해 산을 찾는 사람들이 많아지는 계절이다. 등산은 심폐와 온몸의 근육과 인대를 강화시키는데 효과적인 운동이지만, 등산 전 몸 상태에 대한 점검 없이 무리한 등산을 할 경우 평소 약해진 다리 혈관이 늘어난 혈액량을 감당하지 못해서 건강을 해칠 수가 있다. 더욱이 등산을 즐기는 중장년층이라면 종아리 근육의 탄력이 약화되어 정맥혈관이 확장되는 정맥류가 발생할 가능성이 높고, 이미 정맥류가 있는 경우라면 악화될 수 있다.

Recently urban area has suffered from frequent flood event by local heavy rain. This study performed flood tests for the Jungnang river using HEC-RAS model. Based on 1m LiDAR data, river geometry data were produced using HEC-GeoRAS. For 100-year frequency flood, 200-year frequency flood, and PMF, flooding areas were estimated. Ten sub-zones of the entire flooding area were identified based on the nearest refugees and used to analyze evacuation paths to the refugees. The results showed that approximately 70% of flooded area were residential, commercial, and transportation areas so that much loss of life and property could be possible. Path analysis showed that the shortest path distances to refugees were about 1000m average. Evacuation warning given at a proper period could minimize loss of life and property. This study provides the guideline for flood evacuation plan in urban area.

The purpose of this paper is to study "space" with screen technique in Baek Seok"s poems. Especially I studied Baek"s four poems, Namshinuiju Yudong Park Si-bong"s room, Noodles, wooden vessel, and There is a white windy wall with shot, mese-en-scene and scroll. The meanings of the various Spaces studied in letter text weren"t clear but they are distinct in screen technique. So I tried to study "space" with screen technique which is not embodied in the poetic statement.<BR> First, I studied Namshinuiju Yuodong Park Si-bong"s room with shot. I think shot is the tool not only showing the writer"s reality and the plot of text in the writer"s side but also explaining the text in detail in the reader"s side. "Sky" researched by shot in Namshinuiju Yuodong Park Si-bong"s room is the space showing the communication between the universe and human. As the poetic language "wife", "house", "parents" is the significance of earth-real, so the poetic language "buckthorn tree" is the significance of the communication with the universe. Though "buckthorn tree" stands on the ground, it longs for the sky, for it spreads branches toward the sky. As you know, "buckthorn tree" is the significance of the communication with the universe, the possibility of the reading like this is embodied by shot.<BR> Second, I used mese-en-scene in Noodles and wooden vessel. mese-enscene is the technique meaning the setting of the character or the space in screen. "a kitchen" and "warehouse" studied by mese-en-scene in Noodles and wooden vessel are not only a historical space connecting the present and the past but also the universal space-time. "storeroom" that keeps the wooden vessel is described as the house. The house is the corner of us, the space of the universe and the core of the universe structure. If someone can communicate with the universe through the house, the wooden vessel as mese-en-scene can be a very important tool connecting the past, the present and the future. Therefore the wooden vessel is the tool communicating with the future and the object communicating with the universe.<BR> Lastly, "wall" investigated by scroll in There is a white windy wall is the space looking at the poetic speaker"s whole life and anticipating his future life. "wall" is the symbolic space representing the speaker"s past and present and the narrative space dreaming of the recovery of family community. Also, the speaker repents his life through the wall and decides to live the new life. Consequently, the screen of the wall shows the speaker"s whole life and presents his decision firmly.<BR> Like this paper, I know that the role of the space in Baek Seok"s poems is very similar to that of the space in screen. Accordingly, this screen technique embodies the poetic speaker"s feature and reveals the feature of the image in Baek Seok"s poems very clearly.

『만인보』 전 30권에는 사물을 포함하여 약 7,224명의 인물이 호명되고 있다. 본고는 『만인보』 전권의 인물을 분석하는 과정에서 매우 독특한 점을 발견하였다. 그것은 동일한 이름이 반복적으로 호명되는 경우가 많다는 것이다. 단순히 이름만 반복되는 것이 아니라, 서사가 연속되는 경우도 상당수 발견되었다. 먼저 한국 현대사의 핵심적 인물인 이승만과 박정희가 반복적으로 호명된다. 그러나 이들에 대한 고은의 시선은 대단히 부정적이다. 이승만은 국가를 분열시킨 장본인으로 그려지고 박정희는 도덕적, 사상적으로 매우 부정적인 인물임이 폭로된다. 4·19 희생자와 5·18 희생자들도 반복적으로 호명되고 있다. 이들은 대개 희생자와 가족의 이름이 연쇄적으로 호명되는 양상을 보인다. 이것은 희생자가 겪은 고통이 개인적인 것이 아니라 가족 전체가 감당해야 하는 고통임을 드러내기 위함이다. 『만인보』에서 호명되는 인물은 한국 현대사가 대화합과 상생의 역사가 아니라, 반목과 투쟁의 역사라는 사실을 알게 한다. 고은이 『만인보』에서 송시열을 반복 호명하여 맹렬히 비판하고, 탕평책을 외친 영조를 반복적으로 호명하는 이유는 대화합과 상생을 소망하는 고은의 바람이 투영되었기 때문이다. 기황후에 대한 반복 호명은 기황후를 통해 고려의 문화가 원나라에 종속되지 않았다는 사실을 보여주고 이를 통해 우리가 주체성을 회복해야 한다는 염원을 투영한 것으로 볼 수 있다. About 7,224 characters including things are mentioned in a total of 30books of Maninbo. Something very unique was found in the process of analyzing the characters in the whole series of Maninbo. The same names are often called repeatedly. Names are not only repeated but also a considerable number of narrations are consecutively found. For instance, Rhee Seung-man and Park Jeong-hee are repetitively called as historic figures. Nevertheless, Go Eun’s view of them is very negative. Rhee Seung-man is illustrated as the author of divisions in the nation and Park Jeong-hee is disclosed as a very negative person morally and politically. Victims of 4·19 Revolution and those of 5·18 Gwangju Democratization Movement are repeatedly called. Mostly a series of the victims and their families are called. This is to reveal that the suffering the victims went through was not merely individual but it was something the whole families had to manage. The characters called in Maninbo lead us to know that modern Korean history is not the history of coexistence and the grand national harmony but that of struggle and antagonism. Why Go Eun criticizes neo-Confucianism and Song Si-yeol but repetitively calls King Yeongjo, who spoke of Tangpyeongchaek(a policy of maintaining balance and equality between the factions), is the reflection of Go Eun’s desire of wishing for coexistence and the grand national harmony. Repetition of calling Empress Gi can show the fact that culture of the Goryeo Dynasty was not subordinated to the Yuan Dynasty and refect the aspiration that we should restore our national pride.

전북대학교 의과대학 산부인과학교실에서 기형인 쌍각자궁과 동복자궁의 한쪽이 임신중에 염전을 일으켜 태아는 모두 이미 자궁내에서 사망했고, 응급개복술을 요하는 상태로 내원한 두 환자를 치험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 더불어 보고하는 바이다. The cases of the torsion of the pregnant uterus are reported with the review of literature. Uterine torsion during pregnancy is very rare. In the two cases investigated, uterine apoplexy (Couvelaire uterus) and congestive edematous swelling of the affected adnexa were noticed. A brief summary of the uterine torsion in pregnancy and the congenital anomalies of the uterus were reviewed.
