14.6, 60 및 200 A GeV 원자핵-원자핵 중심 충돌 核반응 연구

The results of a study of central collisions of ^16O nuclei with the heavy elements of nuclear emulsion(^107Ag, ^80Br) at 14.6, 60 and 200 GeV/n are compared with proton-emulsion data at equivalent energy. The multiplicity of produced charged secondaries for the ^16O interactions increases with energy faster than for proton projectiles, but the ratio of the mean meson multiplicity to the number of wounded nucleon is reasonably consistent with the prediction of superposition models. At 200 GeV/n, the central particle pseudorapidity density is found to be 66±2 for events with multiplicities exceeding 200.

Abstract The Relationship between Internet Age of Adolescents and Korean Parents-Adolescents Communication Style In-Kon Park (BK21 Research Professor, Sungkyunkwan University) This study analyzed the uses and gratifications of the Internet by Korean adolescents and parents-adolescents communication style. The subjects were 187 adolescents who are attending in a church in Seoul. Factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation were employed to analyze the data. The findings of this study were as follows. Factor analysis reduced the variables into 3 categories for the Internet gratifications, and 3 for the parents-adolescents communication styles. All 6 categories are entertainment-escape, information-seeking and surveillance, interpersonal and social communication, positive-communication style, passive- communication style, negative-communication style. T-test showed male students are more oriented for entertainment-escape gratification and passive-communication style than female students. High school students are more oriented for using the Internet in the information-seeking and surveillance purpose than middle school students. One-way ANOVA showed the Internet heavy users used the Internet for entertainment-escape and interpersonal and social communication purpose. Finally, the factors between Internet gratifications and communication styles were correlated to find out their relationships. The results showed positive-communication style group was strongly correlated with information-seeking and surveillance gratification purpose. The passive-communication style group was correlated with entertainment-escape and interpersonal and social communication gratification purpose.

To compare and test the various methods of energy estimation, the Ech, Ecast and E(θ) parameter is examined as a function of Nh and n_s by making use of the data of 305 Neutrino jets in muclear emulsion. The method is reliable and the value of Ech give almost a constant, as a function of Nh, but increase as n_s. Its significance is discussed.

Internet Dependency of Korean Students Compared to That of American Students

The Internet has influenced on contemporary human lives in various aspects. After the advent of the Internet in 1960’s, the popularity of the medium flourished in 1990’s. One of the Internet's important influences is the tendency of excessive usage. College students are more inclined to immoderate use of the Internet. Due to the excessive usage of the Internet many dysfunctional effects have been shown to the college students in the educational fields. From this cognition the researcher examined college students' Internet dependency of Korean students compared to that of American students. An email survey was conducted and collected from 377 Korean and American university students. It was examined to see how Internet dependent and non-dependent groups were associated with their Internet use. How the Korean and American groups show the differences between Internet dependents and non-dependents was also studied. The results showed that the different demographic variables have different Internet dependencies.

Baseline sensitivity of Scirpus juncoides and Monochoria vaginalis populations to HPPD inhibitors in Korea

The study was conducted to evaluate the baseline sensitivity index (BSI) of Scirpus juncoides and Monochoria vaginalis populations to 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibitors, benzobicyclon, and mesotrione and to estimate the potential risk of the HPPD inhibitor resistance in paddy fields in Korea. The seeds of matured S. juncoides and M. vaginalis biotypes were collected from a total of 105 sites and a whole plant dose-response test was performed. Nonlinear fit curve (DoseResp) analysis revealed that GR50 values of S. juncoides biotypes ranged from 9.6 to 16.5 g a.i. ha-1 to mesotrione and 13.1 to 26.4 g a.i. ha-1 to benzobicyclon. BSI was 1.72 and 2.01 for mesotrione and benzobicyclon respectively. The GR50 values of M. vaginalis populations ranged from 10.9 to 16.3 g a.i. ha-1 to mesotrione and 11.7 to 21.1 g a.i. ha-1 to benzobicyclon. BSI was 1.48 for mesotrione and 1.78 for benzobicyclon. No shift in mesotrione and benzobicyclon sensitivity was observed suggesting that these HPPD herbicides can still be used very ffectively to control S. juncoides and M. vaginalis populations in rice fields in South Korea. However, we strongly suggest that constant monitoring and baseline sensitivity studies need to be conducted continuously to detect the evolution of herbicide-resistant weed biotypes.

The ring diagram approximation is used for the calculation of the excitation spectrum, thermodynamic funtions, and other quantities of two-dimensional liquid helium. The excitation spectrum for a pseudopotential is not similar to Landau's quasi-particle spectrum, but the theoretical specific heat agrees well with the thermodynamic properties of liquid helium.

민족일보의 정치 의제 수립과 현대적 의미

언론과 정치의 관계는 불가분의 관계이다. 세계최초의 신문형태인 악타 뒤르나(acta diurna) 등만 봐도 로마 원로원에 의해 탄생한 것을 볼 수 있다. 특별히, 현대사회에 들어서부터는 언론이 정치의제를 설정해준다는 점화효과 (priming effect), 의제수립 (agenda building)등의 개념을 통하여서 언론과 정치의 밀접성을 피력하기도 하였다. 언론과 정치의 불가분성은 1961년 민족일보라는 짧은 기간동안 존재했던 한 신문과 그 발행인인 조용수라는 인물을 통하여서 살펴볼 수 있다. 진보적이고 혁신적이며 민중적인 신문의 발행인이었던 조용수는 1961년 12월 군부세력에 의해서 사형에 처해질 때까지 민족일보를 통하여서 현재 벌어지고 있는 여러 혼란상을 그대로 재현해주고 있다고 할 것이다. 조용수와 민족일보는 현실정치에 어떤 방식으로 개입하였는가? 민족일보가 설정한 의제는 당시와 현재에 어떤 의미를 지니는가? 조용수와 민족일보의 현대적 의미는 무엇인가? 라는 연구문제를 가지고 역사적 연구방법론을 사용하여 조용수와 민족일보의 의미를 새겨보았으며, 3개월간 발행되었던 민족일보의 텍스트를 분석해 봄으로서 그 당시의 정치상황에 적극 참여하였던 한 신문의 시대적 의미와 현재 벌어지고 있는 여러 정치, 경제적 상황과 대비해 보았다. 그리고 이를 통하여서 현대 언론이 따라야 할 새로운 언론윤리에 대하여 제시해보았다. Journalism and politics are inseparable relation. The first quasi-newspaper, Acta Diurna, was closely related with Rome's senate. The importance of the journalism to the politics in contemporary society is immense in terms of its impact to the politicians and citizens. In 1961, there was a newspaper, named Minjok-ilbo, which was existed very short period of time, but impacted to the Korean in various ways. The publisher, Yong Su Cho, was punished by death with a military Coup. The newspaper had been existed for 3 short months. Research questions for this studies are: How Mr. Cho and Minjok-ilbo intervened political issues in 1961? What is the meaning of the newspaper's agenda in 1961 to the contemporary Korea society? The authors used historical analysis method to solve the research questions, and text analysis method to examine the Minjok-ilbo and its political related contents. Finally, the authors suggested several journalism ethics to the modern newspaper industry.
