For engineers in the industry, this study considers a reliable and practical finite element modeling technique to estimate the behavior of closed thin-walled members with spot weldings. Dynamic and static experiments confirm that the technique - modeling the spot weldings with solid elements which have the adjusted rotational freedoms and fill the welding space - Yields satisfactory results. Numerical studies on the double hat-shaped members. adopting this modeling technique. show the effect of the spot welding Pitch and the spot welding location in the flange on the stiffness of the members Using the principal stiffness and newly proposed GSPI(global stiffness performance index), we also carefully examine how the spot welding curvature, and sectional shape, etc.. synthetically influence the stiffness of a real excavator pillar in the field.

As the method of providing information is getting multimedia, the synthetic voice is used in not only CTI(Computer Telephony Integration), information service for the blind, but also applications on internet. But properties of synthetic voice, such as speech rate, pitch, timbre and so on, are not adjusted to customers' preference but providers' preference. In order to consider customers' preference, this study proposed four subjective factors of voice through the evaluation of voice using the method of sensibility ergonomics. And the relation synthetic voice to be agreeable to the ear with emotional images was formulated as a fuzzy model. Consequently, this study proposed the speech rate and pitch of synthetic voice which is agreeable to the ear.

Tetrodotoxin (TTX) is the purified active principle responsible for tetrodon (Puffer-fish) poisoning which has long been known in the Orient. The pharmacological actions of TTX have been rather extensively investigated. Two of the most prominent effects of intravenousely administered TTX are severe hypotension and respiratory paralysis resulting from its depressant actions on tissues. This depressant actions of TTX in turn result from the selective inhibition of sodium-carrying mechanism which is essential to generation of the action potential. TTX differs from local anesthetics in that it does not affect potassium conductance. Although the mechanism of the hypotensive action of TTX remains a subject of controversy, most investigator agree that TTX-induced hypotension is caused by alteration in the blood vessels rather than the heart. Not only the study on the effects of TTX on cardiac function is meager but the results of reported works are often contradictory. The present study was undertaken to investigate the effect of TTX on the electrocardiogram of the rabbit and to compare them with well known electrocardiographical characteristics found in digitalis and quinidine intoxicated animals. The results obtained from the present study are summarized as follows. 1. No changes were found in P-R interval and QRS duration after i.v. administration of $1.0\;{\mu}g/kg\;to\;1.5\;{\mu}g/kg$ TTX to the animals. It is obvious that there were no conduction disturbance between atria and ventricles as well as in the ventricular tissue. 2. In $1.0\;{\mu}g/kg$ TTX group, S-T interval and T-P segment were not changed whereas marked changes were observed in $1.5\;{\mu}g/kg$ TTX group. 3. The first and second degree A-V blocks appeared in the $2.0\;{\mu}g/kg$ TTX group. 4. TTX differs from digitalis and quinidine in that it does not cause S-T interval depression and T-wave inversion. In contrast with digitalis, TTX caused Q-T interval prolongation.
산야유 $\beta-Casein$의 효소 가수분해 특성과 가수분해물의 Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 저해 효과

산양유 $\beta-casein$의 효소에 의한 가수분해 특성과 가수분해물의 ACE 저해 효과를 측정하고자 산양유의 $\beta-casein$을 양이온 교환 컬럼인 Mono S HR 5/5를 이용하여 분리하였으며 분리된 $\beta-casein$을 동물성 분해효소인 trypsin으로 처리하여 가수분해 특성을 확인하였고 가수분해물의 ACE 저해활성을 측정하였다. Mono S HR 5/5 양이온 교환 컬럼을 이용한 산양유 산 케이신으로 부터 순수한 $\beta-casein$의 분리는 SDS-PAGE를 이용하여 확인한 결과 순수한 $\beta-casein$의 분리가 이루어졌음을 확인할 수 있었다. $\beta-casein$을 $37^{\circ}C4$에서 trypsin으로 처리하여 전기영동으로 확인한 결과 가수분해 직후부터 $\beta-casein$ 위치의 band가 희미해지기 시작하고 저분자량의 band가 나타나기 시작하였으나 120분이 지난 후에는 모든 band가 가수분해되어 사라졌고 산양유에서 분리된 $\beta-casein$을 trypsin으로 처리하여 120분 경과 후 그 가수분해물을 이용하여 ACE 저해효과를 측정한 결과 가수분해하지 않은 $\beta-casein$은 $1.80\pm1.21\%$의 ACE 저해활성을 보였으나 trypsin으로 가수분해하여 ACE 저해 활성을 측정하였을 때 $25.36\pm0.79\%$의 저해 활성을 나타내었으며, trypsin에 의한 $\beta-casein$가수분해물의 $IC_{50}$을 측정한 결과 $308.7\pm2.77({\mu}g/mL)$로 나타났다. This study was carried out to understand hyrolytic characteristics of $\beta-casein$ by enzyme in goat milk and to measure the inhibition effect of the ACE of the hydrolysate. In order to conduct the experiment, $\beta-casein$ of goat milk was separated using Mono S HR 5/5, a cation exchange column. The separated $\beta-casein$ was treated with trypsin of animal hydrolysis enzymes, in an effort to verify the characteristics of hydrolysis. The inhibition activity of ACE was measured and the results are as follows. By analyzing the hydrolysate separated from the trypsin-processed $\beta-casein$ of goat milk, the inhibition effect of the ACE was measured trypsin-hydrolyzed $\beta-casein$ demonstrated a $25.36\pm0.79\%$ of inhibition effect and the $IC_{50}$ of the hydrolysate from the trypsin-processed $\beta-casein$ reached $308.7\pm2.77({\mu}g/mL)$.

In this article, scheduling of a casting sequence is studied in casting foundry which must deliver products according to the Just-in-time(JIT) production policy of a customer. When a foundry manufactures a variety of casts with an identical alloy simultaneously, it frequently faces the task of production scheduling. An optimal casting schedule should be emphasized in order to maximize the production rate and raw material efficiency under the constraints of limited resources; melting furnaces and operation time for a casting machine. To solve a real production problem in a typical casting plant proves that the proposed method provides a feasible solution with a high accuracy for a complex, multi-variable and multi-constraint optimization problem. Employing this simple methodology, a casting foundry having an automated casting machine can produce a mixed order of casts with a maximum furnace utilization within the due date, and provide them according to their customer's JIT inventory policy.
