Purpose: In order to clarify the correlation of mandibular setback using bilateral intraoral vertical ramus osteotomy (BIVRO) and post-surgical transverse mandibular width (TMW), this study examined the pre- and postsurgical changes in hard and soft tissues of TMW and the relationship of TMW and the amount of mandibular setback. Patients and Methods: One-hundred seven patients who had undergone BIVRO were evaluated radiographically and clinically. A comparison study of the changes in hard and soft tissue after surgery in all 107 patients was performed with preoperative, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 1 year postoperative posteroanterio cephalograms and clinical photographs by tracing. And this changes were evaluated in parts to amounts of mandibular setback. Results: Statistically significant increases of TMW in hard and soft tissue from preoperative to postoperative 1 month were seen. TMW in hard tissue from 1 month to 1 year postopertive were gradually decreased. TMW in soft tissue was not changed uniformly but almost equal to pre-operative width. And there was no significant correlation between TMW and amount of mandibular setback. Conclusions: The results show that mandibular setback using BIVRO did not significantly influence increasing of TMW in soft tissue.

A Korean traditional pattern can be described as the cultural heritage that contains the identified emotions and history of our ancestors. They created beauty in life by decorating their surroundings with particular and distinct patterns. Now that the interests in culture has been the focus of a lot of research fields, and that is related to rediscovering the cultural identity of our past. One of the recent trends in the field is to apply these cultural aspects, such as historical patterns, into modern design in order to promote the Korean culture and the arts to the world. Therefore, creating designs that contain originality based on the traditional patterns can become the ompetitive advantage of the Korean design as a whole. For example, Japan has already been promoting their traditional patterns as various design products to the world. Similar to what Japan has been doing, Korea needs to emphasis on the traditional patterns in order to create synergy in modern designs by implementing the old into new. Indeed, comparing and analyzing the traditional patterns of the two countries is critical in developing a superb conceptual guideline for Korea’s path in design. This study focuses on comparing and analyzing geometric patterns of Korea and Japan. This research will contribute to the field by providing in depth intellectual means of patterns as cultural and traditional heritage. Furthermore, it will be a foundational work to spread distinct Korean designs to the world.
이머시브 시어터에서 경험을 주도하는 해방된 관객성 연구: 〈댄 쉬 펠 Then She Fell〉과 〈비욘더로드 Beyond the Road〉를 중심으로

본 연구는 현대 공연예술에서 가장 화두가 되는 관객을 고찰하는 데 있어 과거와 비교했을 때 현저히 변화된 성격에 주목하여 분석해보고자 한 것이다. 이를 위해 현대 공연예술 중에서도 특히 포스트드라마 연극의 특성을 가장 집약적으로 확인할 수 있는 이머시브 시어터에서의 관객성에 대하여 논의를 전개하였다. 포스트드라마 연극의 한 장르로 자리매김한 이머시브 시어터는 기존의 전통연극과 비교하면 시공간과 감각이 크게 확장되고 그 어떤 요소보다도 관객이 우위에 서며 관객의 참여가 중심이 되는 공연 형태이다. 연구자는 이러한 특징을 지닌 이머시브 시어터에서 관객이 적극적으로 자기 주도적인 경험을 만들어간다고 보았다. 이를 설명하기 위하여 이머시브 시어터의 대표작이라고 할 수 있는 공연 〈댄 쉬 펠〉과 이전보다 진화된 형태의 이머시브 공연 〈비욘더로드〉를 예로 들어 고찰하면서 이 두 공연에서 스스로 경험을 주도하는 관객의 양상에 대해 분석하였다. 또한, 공연 간의 비교를 통하여 이머시브 시어터라는 장르 안에서도 공연의 형태가 점차 관객 중심적으로 수렴하며 진화되는 것을 확인하였다. 그 진화 속에서 관객성도 더욱 다양한 방식으로 변화되는데 이때 변화의 핵심을 관객의 해방이라는 관점에서 논의하였다. 그 결과 이머시브 시어터의 특징들이 관객에게 공연과 연결되는 지점들을 생성해주며 서사를 스스로 메우는 사유를 시작하게 만들어 공연에 몰입하도록 돕고 그 과정에서 관객은 해방감을 느끼며 스스로 경험을 주도하고 작품의 의미를 극대화한다고 보았다. 이를 통해 오랜 연극 역사 속에서 공연의 한 요소로만 인식되어 수동적으로 머물러 있던 관객을 이머시브 시어터와 같은 현대 공연예술에서 새로운 의미의 관객성으로 규정할 수 있었다. This study aims to analyze the spectator, which is the hottest topic in the contemporary performing arts, by paying attention to its characteristics, which have significantly changed compared to the past. Therefore, discussions were conducted on the spectatorship, especially in the immersive theater, where the attributes of post-dramatic theater can be most intensively confirmed among the contemporary performing arts. The immersive theater, which has established itself as a genre of post-dramatic theater, has dramatically expanded time, space, and sense compared to traditional plays. In addition, it is a form of performance in which the spectator is more significant than any other element, and its participation is central. The study sees that the spectator actively creates self-directed experiences in immersive theater due to these characteristics. The performance ‘Then She Fell,’ said to be one the representative works of the immersive theater, and ‘Beyond the Road,’ the more evolved form of immersive performance, are examples for discussion. The aspect of the spectators of these two works leading the experience was analyzed. By comparing the two, the performance gradually converged and evolved around the spectator, even within the genre of immersive theater. Also, the spectatorship was developed in more diverse ways. This study discusses the core of the change in terms of the spectator"s emancipation. As a result, it was found that the characteristics of the immersive theater create points that connect the spectator and the performance and help the spectator immerse themselves in the performance by making them start filling in the narrative. In the process, the spectator felt emancipated, led the experience by themselves, and maximized the meaning of the work. Thus, in the long history of theatre, the spectator, which was recognized as only one element of the performance and stayed passively, could be defined as a new meaning of the spectatorship in the contemporary performing arts such as immersive theater.
유아에 대한 양육자의 애착, 유아의 정서조절 능력 및 공격성간의 관계

This study examined relationships between caregivers' attachment, young children's emotion regulation, and aggression. Subjects were 110 institutionalized and 105 home-reared children (M=3.8 and 4.2 years, respectively). Data were collected from children's caregivers via questionnaires and analyzed by ANOVA, correlations, and hierarchical regressions. Results showed that (1) caregivers' attachment and the emotion regulation and aggression of institutionalized children were significantly different from those of home-reared children; (2) caregiver's attachment was positively related to emotion regulation for both institutionalized and home-reared children; (3) for institutional children, negative relationships between attachment and aggression was found for girls; negative relationships between emotion regulation and aggression was found for boys. These findings underscore negative effects of institutionalized care on children's socio-emotional behaviors.
형제간 및 또래간 사회성에 영향을 주는 가족 인구학적 변인

The purpose of this study was to investigate family-demographic variables (sibling status, maternal attitude and demographic variables) affecting sibling sociability and peer sociability. Mothers and teachers of 291 kindergarten children were sampled. Specifically, 206 children of two-child families were studied by sibling status to investigate differences in sociability among siblings. Factor analysis, F-test, Pearson correlation, and multiple-analysis of variance were conducted. Sibling sociability and peer sociability were affected by sibling status. Maternal attitude and sibling sociability were positively correlated. The important family-demographic variables for both sibling sociability and peer sociability were maternal affective attitudes and sex of child.
