This paper discusses the lateral vibration of a bar which has its tip free. The uniform bar has a solution by summation of some simple exponential functions But if its shape is not uniform, its solution could be by Bessel's function, or mathematical solution could not be existed. Enen if the solution of Bessel's function exists. as Bessel function is a series function. we must got the solution by numerical method Hereby the author Proposes the ununiform beam solution of the matrix method by Ritz's method. and Proposes a new deflection shape function.

바다는 무한한 자원의 보고이다. 미국ㆍ일본ㆍ중국 등 선진국에선 이미 바다의 개발과 보호를 위한 장기 전략을 세우고 이미 실처네 옮기고 있다. 바다를 경사하던 우리나라에서도 60년대부터 선원, 조선 수출 등 바다관련산업이 등장하여 우리나라 경제발전의 견인차 역할을 해왔다. 당장 투자효과가 나지 않더라도 해양기술 개발과 축적을 위해 과감한 투자가 앞서야 하겠다.

Filtration studies, using simulated test nanoparticles or diesel nanoparticles, have been performed about Inconel foam filters for DPF combined with electrostatic precipitation. The simulated test particles were synthesized by laser ablation in the nitrogen atmosphere at the standard condition. The diesel particles were exhausted from the diesel engine driven on the condition of idle or load mode. Filtration efficiency of the metal foam filter is very low because most of particles are penetrated through the large pores of filter. However, the efficiency was considerably improved by applying the electric field to the filter and/or charging the nanoparticles. Nevertheless, the pressure drop of filter hardly increased because the filter-pores were not clogged by deposited particles and kept open.

A method for the identification of structural characteristic parameters of a steel bar in the matrices form such as stiffness matrices and mass matrices from frequency response function(FRF) by genetic algorithm is proposed. As the method is based on the finite element method(FEM), the obtained matrices have perfect physical meanings if the FRFs got from the analysis and the FRFs from the experiments were well coincident each other. The identified characteristic matrices from the FRFs with maximun 40 % of random errors by the genetic algorithm are coincident with the characteristic matrices from exact FEM FRFs well each other. The fitted element diameters by using only 2 points experimental FRFs are similar to the actual diameters of the bar. The fitted FRFs are good accordance with the experimental FRFs on the graphs. FRFs of the rest 9 points not used for calculating could be fitted even well.
