        Evaluation of the effects of disulfiram, an alcohol-aversive agent with anti-cancer activity, on mouse bone marrow cells

        Disulfiram (DSF) is an aldehyde dehydrogenase inhibitor. DSF has potent anti-cancer activity for solid and hematological malignancies. Although the effects on cancer cells have been proven, there have been few studies on DSF toxicity in bone marrow cells (BMs). DSF reduces the metabolic activity and the mitochondrial membrane potential of BMs. In subset analyses, we confirmed that DSF does not affect the proportion of BMs. In addition, DSF significantly impaired the metabolic activity and differentiation of BMs treated with granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor, an essential growth and differentiation factor for BMs. To measure DSF toxicity in BMs in vivo, mice were injected with 50 mg/kg, a dose used for anti-cancer effects. DSF did not significantly induce BM toxicity in mice and may be tolerated by antioxidant defense mechanisms. This is the first study on the effects of DSF on BMs in vitro and in vivo. DSF has been widely studied as an anti-cancer drug candidate, and many anti-cancer drugs lead to myelosuppression. In this regard, this study can provide useful information to basic science and clinical researchers.

        지질다당류로 활성화된 마우스 골수세포에서 구충제 Fenbendazole의 억제 효과

        Fenbendazole (FBZ) is a commonly used anthelmintics in veterinary medicine that has recently been found to have anticancer effects in humans. On the other hand, few studies have examined the anti-inflammatory effects of FBZ, and its mechanism is unknown. In this study, mouse bone marrow cells (BMs) were treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a representative inflammation-inducing substance, to generate a situation similar to osteomyelitis in vitro. The effect of FBZ on inflammatory BMs was examined by measuring the metabolic activity, surface marker expression, cell nuclear morphology, and mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) of BMs. FBZ decreased the metabolic activity and MMP of LPS-treated BMs. Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate/propidium iodide staining and Hoechst 33342 staining showed that FBZ reduced the number of viable cells and induced the cell death of inflammatory BMs. In addition, FBZ reduced the proportion of granulocytes more than B lymphocytes in LPS-treated BMs. Overall, FBZ induces cell death by destabilizing the MMP of LPS-induced inflammatory BMs. In addition to anthelmintic and anticancer agent, FBZ can play a role as an anti-inflammatory agent.

        모델 스캐너와 구내 스캐너로 획득한 디지털 모형에서 시행한 공간 분석의 타당도, 신뢰도, 재현성 평가

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate validity, reliability and reproducibility of tooth width (TW), arch length (AL) and arch length discrepancy (ALD) measured on a digital model taken via 3-dimensional model scanner and intraoral scanner compared to a plaster model. A total of 30 patients aged 12 to 18 were eligible for the study. 3 types of models were acquired from each patient: a conventional plaster model (P), a model scanned digital model (MSD) taken via Freedom UHD® and an intraoral scanned digital model (ISD) taken via CS3600® in-vivo. The reliability of TW and AL in each group was evaluated using Pearson’s correlation coefficient, while the reproducibility was evaluated with intraclass correlation coefficient. The validity of space analysis was assessed by paired t-test. As a result, all measurements of P, MSD and ISD groups showed favorable reliability and reproducibility. Most of measurements for space analysis in MSD group and TW in ISD group also presented high validity. AL and ALD presented statistically significant difference between P and ISD group. The validity of measurements of space analysis in ISD group was short in doubt to valid, but clinically acceptable. Both MSD and ISD are clinically acceptable to use for space analysis but clinician should be aware that errors can be found using a digital model. 이 연구는 모델 스캐너로 석고 모형을 스캔한 디지털 모형(Model scanned digital model, MSD)과 구내 스캐너로 구강을 스캔한 디지털 모형(Intraoral scanned digital model, ISD)에서 계측한 치아 근원심 폭경(Tooth width, TW)과 치열궁 길이(Arch length, AL)의 신뢰도와 재현성, 치열궁 길이 편차(Arch length discrepancy, ALD) 분석의 타당도를 평가하였다. 만 12 - 18세의 남, 여 30명에게 석고 모형, MSD, ISD를 획득하고, 2번 계측한 TW, AL의 신뢰도는 Pearson 상관 분석, 4명의 재현성은 군간 상관 분석 그리고 TW, AL 및 ALD의 타당도는 대응표본 t검정으로 평가하였다. 결과적으로 모든 군에서 계측한 TW, AL는 높은 신뢰도와 재현성을 보였고 MSD군의 ALD분석은 적절한 타당도를 보였다. ISD 군의TW는 가장 높은 타당도를 보인 반면에, AL와 ALD분석은 유의미하게 짧게 측정되어 낮은 타당도를 보였으므로 임상가는 디지털 모델을 이용하여 공간 분석 시행 시 이를 고려해야 할 것이다.

        최근 10년간 한방비만학회지의 연구동향 분석: 2010-2019년 한방비만학회지 게재논문을 중심으로

        Objectives: This study performed to identify trends in research published in the Journal of Korean Medicine for Obesity Research during last one decade. Methods: All of the articles in the Journal of Korean Medicine for Obesity Research published from 2010 to 2019 were collected. Search were conducted through "http://jkomor.org." Collected articles were classified into year and type of publication. Additional data including study design, study topics, characteristics of participants and treatment, outcomes was extracted from full text of each study. Results: Total 135 articles were analyzed. The number of studies were increasing after 2015. According to classification by type of study, percentage of clinical study took 27%, preclinical study took 37%, literary study took 21%, and case report took 15%. The number of studies were grown and study topics have been diversified. However for the growth of quality, concern for subjects, study design, quality assessment according to research guidelines and ethical consideration is needed. Conclusions: The number of studies and issues each study focused on have been increasing. To improve the quality of studies, further studies should be followed.

        ALOS-2 Stripmap-ScanSAR 위상간섭기법에서의 스펙트럼 분석 평가

        연안 충적층 지역은 토양침식, 지반침하 등 지질 재해와 태풍, 홍수 해양 재해에 노출되어 인명 또는 재산 피해의 위험에 취약하다. 지반 침하는 지표 물질이 지하로 이동하면서 지반의 점진적인 또는 급격한 침강이 발생하는 현상으로 지속적인 감시가 요구된다. 영상레이더 위상간섭기법 (Radar Interferometry)은 마이크로파 영역에서 관측된 위상정보를 이용하여 지형 변위를 정밀하게 관측할 수 있는 기술이다. Small BAseline Subset(SBAS) 기법은 최소 20장 이상의 영상레이더 자료를 사용하여 대상 지역에 대한 시계열 지표 변위를 정밀하게 분석할 수 있어 지반침하 감시에 유용하다. X- 또는 C-밴드에 비해 장파장인 L-밴드 영상레이더 자료는 긴밀도 유지에 보다 유리하여 지구과학용으로 적합하다. 하지만 L-밴드 ALOS-2 PALSAR-2은 전지구 관측 프로그램을 운영하고 있어 시계열 분석을 하기에 영상 획득이 충분하지 않을 수 있다. 관심 지역인 부산의 경우, Stripmap 영상은 11장으로서 SBAS 시계열 분석 기법을 적용하기에는 부족한 촬영 수이다. 일반적으로 동일한 모드의 영상 간 위상간섭기법의 적용이 가능하지만, 비슷한 관측 기하에서 관측한 Stripmap과 ScanSAR 영상을 이용한 위상간섭기법의 적용이 성공적으로 수행된 바 있다. 해당 지역의 ScanSAR 영상은 18장으로 Stripmap-ScanSAR 위상간섭기법을 적용하면 SBAS 기법을 이용한 향상된 시계열 분석이 가능하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 Gamma 소프트웨어를 이용하여 ALOS-2 PALSAR-2로부터 획득된 L-band 영상 자료에 대한 위상간섭기법 적용 가능여부를 평가하였다. Stripmap-ScanSAR 위상간섭기법 적용을 위해 이종 모드 관측 영상 사이의 chirp bandwidth와 pulse repetition frequency (PRF)의 차이를 고려한 영상레이더 자료 처리를 수행하였으며, radar carrier frequency의 차이 보정과 common band filtering 적용 여부에 따라 발생하는 위상간섭도의 품질을 분석하였다. Radar carrier frequency 차이 보정에 따른 위상간섭도의 긴밀도 변화는 크게 나타나지 않았으나, common band filtering으로 인해, 위상간섭도에서 azimuth 방향으로 주기적인 잡음과 전체적인 긴밀도 저하가 발생하였다. 따라서 Stripmap-ScanSAR 위상간섭기법을 적용하는 경우 두 관측 모드의 range와 azimuth 방향의 밴드 폭의 특성에 따라 주의 깊은 자료 처리가 요구된다. It is well known that alluvial sediment located in coastal region has been easily affected by geohazard like ground subsidence, marine or meteorological disasters which threaten invaluable lives and properties. The subsidence is a sinking of the ground due to underground material movement that mostly related to soil compaction by water extraction. Thus, continuous monitoring is essential to protect possible damage from the ground subsidence in the coastal region. Radar interferometric application has been widely used to estimate surface displacement from phase information of synthetic aperture radar (SAR). Thanks to advanced SAR technique like the Small BAseline Subset (SBAS), a time-series of surface displacement could be successfully calculated with a large amount of SAR observations (>20). Because the ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 L-band observations maintain higher coherence compared with other shorter wavelength like X- or C-band, it has been regarded as one of the best resources for Earth science. However, the number of ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 observations might be not enough for the SBAS application due to its global monitoring observation scenario. Unfortunately, the number of the ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 Stripmap images in area of our interest, Busan which located in the Southeastern Korea, is only 11 which is insufficient to apply the SBAS time-series analysis. Although it is common that the radar interferometry utilizes multiple SAR images collected from same acquisition mode, it has been reported that the ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 Stripmap-ScanSAR interferometric application could be possible under specific acquisition mode. In case that we can apply the Stripmap-ScanSAR interferometry with the other 18 ScanSAR observations over Busan, an enhanced time-series surface displacement with better temporal resolution could be estimated. In this study, we evaluated feasibility of the ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 Stripmap-ScanSAR interferometric application using Gamma software considering differences of chirp bandwidth and pulse repetition frequency (PRF) between two acquisition modes. In addition, we analyzed the interferograms with respect to spectral shift of radar carrier frequency and common band filtering. Even though it shows similar level of coherence regardless of spectral shift in the radar carrier frequency, we found periodic spectral noises in azimuth direction and significant degradation of coherence in azimuth direction after common band filtering. Therefore, the characteristics of spectral bandwidth in the range and azimuth direction should be considered cautiously for the ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 Stripmap-ScanSAR interferometry.

        의사소통 능력 향상을 위한 상호작용 활동 중심 한국어 듣기 교수 모형 설계

        본 연구는 한국어 학습자 의사소통 능력 향상을 위한 듣기 교수 모형을 설계하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌 및 선행 연구를 검토한 후, 이를 종합하여 듣기의 3단계에 따라 상호작용 활동중심의 교수 모형을 설계하였다. 문헌 및 선행 연구를 종합한 결과, 듣기 전 단계에서 배경 지식 활성화를 위한 스키마 활동이, 듣기 단계에서는 다양한 유형의 과제 활동이, 듣기 후 단계에서는 기능 연계 통합 활동과 청자의 정의적·인지적 반응을 확인할 수 있는 활동이 포함된 듣기 교수 모형이 학습자의 듣기 능력 향상에 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 설계된 상호작용 활동 중심 교수 모형을 통해 학습자들의 자기 주도적 학습 능력과 의사소통 능력이 신장될 것이며, 적극적인 학습자 중심 학습의 장이 열릴 것이라 기대한다. 본 연구의 모형을 교육 현장에 적용하여 학습 효과를 밝히는 후속 연구들이 진행되어야 할 것이다. This study aims to design a listening teaching model to improve the communication skills of Korean learners. After reviewing the literature and prior research for this study, and after synthesizing it, the interaction activity-oriented teaching model was designed according to the three steps of listening. As a result of reviewing literature and prior research, It was confirmed that the listening teaching model including schema activity for knowledge activation in the pre-listening stage, various types of task activities in the listening stage, functional linkage integration activities and activities that can check the affective and cognitive responses of listeners in the post-listening stage, is effective in improving learners’ listening ability. Designed teaching model will increase learners’ self-directed learning and communication skills. It is also expected that a place of learner-centered learning will be opened. Subsequent studies should be conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of learning by applying this study to the classes.

        장애인 직업재활시설 종사자가 인지하는 사회적 기업 지원에 대한 만족도 및 유용성

        본 연구는 장애인 직업재활시설의 사회적기업육성법에 따른 사회적 기업 지원에 대한 직업생활시설 종사자의 만족도와 유용성을 연구하였다. 이를 연구하고자 서울시 소재 장애인 직업재활시설 종사자 160명을 대상으로 조사하였고 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 보면, 사회적 기업 인증 받은 직업재활시설의 경우, 사회적 기업으로 인증 후 시설운영, 매출증가, 인력충원 및 판로개척 측면의 지원은 만족도는 높게 나타났으나 인력지원, 마케팅 및 판로개척지원, 경영지원, 네트워크 및 기타 지원은 낮은 만족도를 보여주었다. 사회적 기업에 대한 지원 유용성분석 결과, 인력지원이 가장 높게 나타났고 판로개척 및 마케팅 지원 유용성, 경영지원 유용성, 기타지원 유용성 순으로 나타났다. This study aims to explore the satisfaction and availability of social enterprise support for activating vocational rehabilitation facilities by social enterprises according to the Social Enterprise Promotion Act based upon the perception of workers at vocational rehabilitation facilities. In this study, 160 workers in vocational rehabilitation facilities were participated, and collected data were analyzed through the program of SPSS 18.0. As a result, after the approval of a vocational rehabilitation facility as a social enterprise, it has obtained a high level of satisfaction in terms of a facility management for the support system, sales growth, manpower supplement, and development of overseas markets, but it showed a low level of satisfaction regarding support policies. The availability of social enterprises support prioritizes its work in the order of manpower support, marketing and exploitation of markets, management support, network, and other support.

        親和性 및 非親和性菌系의 混合 및 前後接種이 벼 稻熱病의 病斑擴大에 미치는 影響

        Effect on blast lesion development was investigated in rice cultivar Milyang 23 and Jinheung using two races of Pyricularia oryzae compatible or incompatible to each of two rice cultivars. Discase lesions were measured in rice when inoculated with inoculum mixed with compatible and incompatible races, inoculated with a compatible race following with an incompatible race and vice versa. Lesions were smaller when rice was incoulated with an incompatible race and then inoculated with a compatible race than those inoculated in the reverse way both at the inoculated site and at 3cm-upper part from inoculated spot. The results suggested that induced resistance might play a role in suppression of lesion development although such an effect appeared to be influenced by heavy application of nitrogen fertilizer.

      • 학습성과기반 교육과정 가이드라인 개발

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop appropriate curriculum Guideline in nursing. Most of the nursing departments were developing or already have developed curriculum that meets the nursing philosophy and considers the expected nurse competencies. Nursing curriculum recommended by Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing. The guideline was built based on professional standards and guideline, minimum requirements and program outcome matched up to WHO, ICN(International Council of Nurses), AACN(American Association College of Nursing) and NLN(National League for Nursing) Globally. Junior college authorities asked the department of Nursing to develop NCS-based curriculum recommended by the Ministry of Education since 2014. It was very difficult for nursing department in Junior college to follow curriculum guideline developed from other philosophy and academic background. Methods : A lot of materials on nursing curriculum development were reviewed and discussions among experts and public hearings were conducted. The development period was from July 10, 2015 to November 30, 2017. Finally a lot of consensus was reached at last public hearing in which professors from nursing colleges participated, and the researchers arranged this. Results : Program outcomes based curriculum guidelines have been developed to meet the standards and steps required by the NCS curriculum. Conclusion : The newly developed Nursing Curriculum Guidelines will guide the development of educational content and standards based on the Nursing professional roles and competencies required of nurses.
