Objectives : This study was aimed to investigate burn out degree of K.M.D.s(Korean medicine doctors) who work at convalescent hospitals and to find contributional factors for the result. The relationship between burn out and job performance was also studied. Methods : 77 K.M.D.s(Male 49(63.6%), Female 28(36.4%)) participated in this survey that has 62 main questions about burn out, job performance, job environment and Social demographic characteristics. Survey was conducted from 19th Aug. 2013 to 6th Nov. 2013. Results : Average of burn out degree of K.M.D.s was 2.62 out of 5. Emotional exhaustion was highest (2.80) and depersonalization was lowest(2.20) among subordinate concepts of burn out. Work place location and average income of the subjective which are subordinate concepts of social demographic characteristics showed significant correlation with job performance. Role conflict, relation of co-worker, workload were significant factors for emotional exhaustion and meaning of the job, will of patient, challenge were significant factors for lack of feeling of accomplishment by multiple regression analysis. Relation of co-worker, aggression of patient and meaning of the job were also significant factors for depersonalization. Conclusion : Emotional exhaustion and lack of feeling of accomplishment among subordinate concepts of burn out were high in the subjective who participated this study. Significant factors that contribute to burn out of this study, shows different result compare to the studies that show other factors contribute to burn out who works at convalescent hospital or other place.

Objectives : Self-esteem is a necessary inner factor for the korean medicine undergraduate, who will perform a various treatment relationship as a future health care provider. Writing is closely related with improving self-esteem by providing insight towards oneself. Methods : The level of self-esteem and current state of writing among 251 undergraduates studying korean medicine in Dongshin University were looked into through a structural survey. Results : Self-esteem score was 3.12 on a scale of 4 which was relatively high, but they showed defensive self-esteem tendency. Meanwhile writing variables appeared to be more influential to the self-esteem of undergraduates than personal characteristics. Also among writing variables, emotional writing and writing 2 to 3 times or more a month was related to high self-esteem which defensive self-esteem tendency is low. Majority of the undergraduates, however, turned out to be writing essay and writing 2 to 3 times a month. Conclusions : The following result suggests the need of writing classes as well as writing involved in emotion for self-esteem and improve medical communication in the curriculum of korean medical college.

Purpose : Recently, cancer has become a chronic disease that requires supervision because of early diagnosis and the development of therapeutic technology. As a result, cancer patients are interested in improving the quality of their lives besides the treatment of cancer itself. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a qualitative research to understand the vivid experiences of cancer patients and structure their treatment experience. Among qualitative researches, grounded theory is developed based on the data collected in the field. The grounded theory research method is easy to analyze for the process and structure of the treatment experience. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the integrated medical experience of cancer patients Methods : Participants were conveniently selected, and the criteria for selection were for those who had more than 1 month of hospitalization so that they could dictate their situation and experience in a meaningful manner. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and continued until the data were saturated through theoretical sensitivity and continuous comparison methods. The collected data were analyzed through the process of open-coding, axial coding, and selection coding, which are the research methods of grounded theory. Results : Cancer patients differ in their path, purpose, and attitudes depending on their respective situations and the internal and external resources of individuals. There is also a difference in the perception of their situation among the cancer patients and their families. Cancer patients were shown to recognize and cope with problems in the integrated medical treatment process, and have been classified into 6 different types after the results. Cancer patients showed positive changes in terms of physical, emotional, and lifestyle after their integrated medical treatment. Cancer patients perceived the integrated medical treatment process as a horizontal relationship structure and with diversity. Conclusions : The experience of integrated medical treatment of cancer patients is a process of rehabilitation that heals the body and restores life within the interaction of support system, contextual situation, and internal resources of the individual. Despite this, there is a need not only for the efforts of integrated medical service providers but also institutional support in the future with regards to the current weaknesses and points for improvement. In addition, there is a need for an objective criterion to measure the outcome of integrated medicine for the standardization of integrated medical services.
VR(Virtual Reality) HMD(Head Mount Display) 안에서의 UI (User Interface) 구현 방법 연구

가상현실(Virtual Reality, VR) 속 체험은 360 도 환경 내에서 이루어지기에 기존 평면 스크린을 통한 체험과는 전혀 다른 종류의 체험이 된다. VR 콘텐츠에서도 역시 체험자가 적극적으로 콘텐츠에 개입할 수 있는 인터랙티브 콘텐츠들이 다수 제작되고 있는 현실에서, 이러한 스크린 경험 내에서 콘텐츠 진행을 제어하거나 현재 관람자와 콘텐츠 간의 상호작용 상태를 확인할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스 (User Interface)가 어떻게 화면상에 표시될 수 있을지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 우리는 평면 스크린 환경일 때와 VR HMD(Head Mount Display) 환경일 때, 화면상에 표시되는 UI(User Interface)가 서로 어떻게 공통적으로 혹은 새로이 접근될 수 있는지 알아보고자 했다. 따라서, 본 연구는 평면 스크린 환경에서의 UI 와 VR HMD 환경에서의 UI 를 분석하고 다양한 환경과 상황에서 UI 가 화면에 표시될 수 있는 다양한 방법을 탐구해 보고자 한다. 그리고 이것을 바탕으로 본 연구자들이 개발한 성학십도 VR 콘텐츠의 UI 를 소개하고 VR 공간에 이질적이지 않고, 잘 인지될 수 있는 UI 형태를 연구해 보고자 한다.
