        경적(經籍)에 나타난 『시경(詩經)』의 인문학적 요소의 현대적 의미 고찰

        In China, Confucius respected as an initial founder of Rujia(儒家), was the prominent scholar in humanistic thought in 『the Analects of Confucius(論語)』and the Book of Odes(詩經)』. His words were recorded in the Analects as follows : "A man can preside over the principles of Heaven, those principles do not preside over the man.(人能弘道, 非道弘人.)" The term of humanities was first used in 『the Book of Changes(周易)』, said "This is the principle of Heaven, which are realized in the human society. It is the human civilization.(天文也. 文明以止. 人文也.)" 『the Doctrine of the Mean(中庸)』said, "Benevolence is the element of humanity.(仁者, 人也.)" Those refers can contribute to the human civilization, such as literature, history and philosophic codes in ancient China. Humanistic thought is also contained in other Confucian classics. On the other hand, The humanistic rule of Confucianism from Analects is also based on the supernatural values. 『The Book of Changes』also said, "Heaven created the supernatural beings.(天生神物.)" The praise songs(頌) of 『the Book of Odes』consist of songs in praise of imperial ancestors sung on sacrificial occasions. Humanistic rules of Confucianism are not completely analogous to western humanistic thought. Modern humanistic thought is the origin of liberty and equality in the political significance. Humanities of Confucianism also encompassed the liberty and equality of political significance, but principally made good use of maintaining the political structure. Today we specially have to be paid to combining people oriented thought of Confucianism and the modern humanistic concept.

        The purpose of this paper was to explore the causual relationship among leisure barriers, participation of sport for all, and life satisfaction of the workers at seoul in korea, On the basic of the results analyzed accoding to research method and procedure in this study, the conclusion of findings could be drawn as follows; 1, It was not supported between decision-making barrier and participation of sport for all of the workers. 2. It was supported between decision-communication barrier and participation of sport for all of the workers. 3. It was not supported between facility-environment barrier and participation of sport for all of the workers. 4. It was supported between economic barrier and participation of sport for all of the workers. 5. It was not supported between time barrier and participation of sport for all of the workers. 6. It was supported between physical barrier and participation of sport for all of the workers. 7. It was supported between decision-making barrier and life satisfaction of the workers. 8. It was not supported between decision-communication barrier and life satisfaction of the workers. 9. It was supported between facility-environment barrier and life satisfaction of the workers. 10.         PET/CT에서 폐암으로 의심된 폐흡충증

        Positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is valuable for the diagnosis of malignancies. However, PET/CT is unable to discriminate exactly between inflammation and a neoplasm. We report a case of a 50-year-old man with pulmonary paragonimiasis that was suspicious for lung cancer, as detected by PET/CT. The use of PET/CT revealed multilobulated consolidation on the right lung and patchy consolidation on the left lung, with increased fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake. In addition, the left paraaortic lymph node (LN) and peripancreatic LN showed enlargement with increased FDG uptake. Lung cancer with multiple lymph node metastases was suspected from the increased standardized uptake values (SUV>4.5) determined by PET/CT. We performed wedge resection via video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) and found Paragonimus westermani eggs in the involved tissues. (Tuberc Respir Dis 2007;63:521-525)

        박정희 시대 과학기술 "제도 구축자": 최형섭과 오원철

        This study examines the careers of Choi Hyung Sup and O Won-chol, who led science and technology policy during the Park Chung Hee era (1961-79), and discusses their roles as institution builders. Choi, a “science bureaucrat,” established the foundation for the scientific and technological development of South Korea and implemented researcher-centered science and technology policies. Not losing his identity as a researcher, this former metallurgist reviewed his experiences in Bases for Science and Technology Promotion in Developing Countries, thereby also exhibiting his aspect as a science policy researcher. O, an “industry organizer,” established and implemented policies for the growth of the defense industry and the promotion of the heavy chemical industry, which had a considerable effect on science and technology policy. After retirement from government service, he captured the attention of academia by writing the voluminous Korean-type Economic Construction, which systemized South Korea`s industrial policy based on his experiences. The two figures` accomplishments as institution builders were based not only on their individual capabilities, but also on the historical condition of the Park era.

        논문 : 울릉도 화산암류의 낙석 규모 및 거동 분석

        낙석은 형상, 체적 및 중량 등 그 규모를 예측하기 어렵고 비탈면의 높이 및 경사 등 기하학적 형상 등에 따라 불규칙적인 거동을 보인다. 본 연구에서는 해안도로를 따라 낙석이 빈번하게 발생하는 울릉도의 비탈면을 대상으로 현장조사를 수행하여 낙석의 유형을 분류하고 규모를 산정하였다. 또한 시뮬레이션 기법을 적용하여 도로에 영향을 미치는 낙석의 거동을 분석하였다. 연구지역에 분포하는 집괴암과 조면암질암은 각각 탈락형과 박리형의 낙석 유형를 보이며, 낙석의 규모는 조면암질암이 집괴암에 비해 상대적으로 2~3배 크게 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. 시뮬레이션을 이용한 낙석의 거동을 분석한 결과, 도로에 작용하는 충격 에너지가 표준 낙석방지울타리의 흡수 가능 운동에너지의 범위를 초과하여 고강도특수망을 적용할 경우 안정성이 확보되는 것으로 나타났다. It is difficult to predict the magnitude of a rockfall with respect to the shape, volume, and weight of the rock mass, as a rockfall exhibits erratic behavior that depends on the slope geometry, such as the height and dip of the slope. In this study, a field survey was conducted on the slopes of Ulleung-Do, South Korea, where rockfalls frequently occur along coastal roads, to classify the mode of rockfalls and estimate their magnitude. This study also analyzed the effects of rockfall behavior on roads by applying a simulation technique. Agglomerate and trachytic rocks distributed across the study area produce rockfalls in a differential weathering rockfall mode and a toppling rockfall mode. In terms of rockfall weight, trachytic rockfalls were 2-3 times heavier than agglomerate rockfalls. An analysis of rockfall behavior from the simulation indicates that the impact energy on the road exceeded the absorbing energy of a standard rockfall protection fence; however, the rockfall was secured when a ring-net was applied.

        공자(孔子)의 시예악론(詩禮樂論)

        The point of Confucius(552~479B.C.)`s poetics was the "accomplishments and solid qualities are equally blended(文質彬彬)", and intended to realize his ideal, run the country well and give the people peace and security. To be exact, he did not recognize art for art`s sake. However he also emphasized the art and literature`s role for realizing his ideal. So Confucius said "It is by the Odes that the mind is aroused. It is by the Rules of Propriety that the character is established. It is from Music that the finish is received.(興於詩, 立於禮, 成於樂.)" According to ZhuXi(朱熹)`explanatory notes of the Song dynasty(宋), it represented that three steps of cultivating true gentleman`s morality. But this explanation was a little simple. In my estimation, this sentence represented many deep meanings. For example, we have to study mutual relations of poetry and the propriety(禮), poetry and music(樂). These common determined goal was the moral training(修身), govern a family(齊家), ruling a nation(治國) and ruling over the whole country(平天下). Confucius regarded poetry, the propriety and music as the vehicle of the Great Harmony society(大同社會). In addition to what is called forming a kind of trinity(詩禮樂) in the art and literature of the Confucian scholar.

        박정희 시대 담화문을 통해 본 과학기술정책의 전개

        The purpose of this study is to understand the discourse on science and technology (S&T) policies during the Park Chung Hee era (1961~1979) through investigating the presidential statements and addresses. I will focus on the meaning, structure, and change of the discourse on S&T. In the early 1960s, S&T was not considered an important element in government policies and S&T was mainly mentioned in the context of technology education. However, S&T grew in stature as time went on and by the mid-1960s the regime recognized S&T as a useful means for economic development. Around 1970, S&T began to be considered an essential factor for national security and the regime started utilizing S&T as the ideology for national mobilization through the "Scientification Movement of the Whole Nation" in the mid-1970s. Although the emphasis on S&T gradually increased during Park`s era, the discourse on S&T was secondary to the discourse on the national economy and security. The regime did not clearly distinguish between science and technology and the discourse on technology was dominant because of its close relation to economic growth.

        웨이블릿 부밴드의 상호 정보량을 이용한 세일리언시 검출

        본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 부밴드의 상호 정보량을 이용한 새로운 세일리언시 검출 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문의 방법은 웨이블릿 고주파 계수에 대한 승수와 가우시안 블러링을 이용하여 중간 세일리언시 지도를 형성한다. 웨이블릿 방향에 따른 세 개의 중간 세일리언시 지도를 방향별로 결합한 후 최소 엔트로피를 가지는 주 방향성 성분을 찾는다. 최소 엔트로피를 가지는 부밴드를 중심으로 각 부밴드의 상호 정보량을 구하고, 이를 이용한 가중치를 계산하고, Minkowski 합을 이용하여 최종 세일리언시를 검출한다. CAT2000 및 ECSSD 데이터베이스 대한 실험 결과, 본 논문의 방법은 기존 방법과 비교하여 적은 계산시간으로 ROC 및 AUC 관점에서 우수한 검출 결과를 보였다. In this paper, we present a new saliency detection algorithm using the mutual information of wavelet subbands. Our method constructs an intermediate saliency map using the power operation and Gaussian blurring for high-frequency wavelet coefficients. After combining three intermediate saliency maps according to the direction of wavelet subband, we find the main directional components using entropy measure. The amount of mutual information of each subband is obtained centering on the subband having the minimum entropy The final saliency map is detected using Minkowski sum based on weights calculated by the mutual information. As a result of the experiment on CAT2000 and ECSSD databases, our method showed good detection results in terms of ROC and AUC with few computation times compared with the conventional methods.
