A total of 820 dairy cattle were examined formastitis by California mastitis test method and 181 dairy cattle were examined bacteriologically according to the method of Connecticut mastitis control program. The results obtained were as followings: 1. Milk samples from 1.231(38.1%) of 3,225 quarters and 568(69.3%) of 820 dairy cattle were positive for mastitis by California mastitis test method. 2. Among 181 cattle examined bacteriologically by the method of Connecticut mastitis control program 159(22.9%) quarters of 102(56.4%) cattle were infected. Clinical mastitis was found in 5 cattle. 3. Important causative organisms were found to de Staphylococcus aureus(44.8%), Streptococcus agalactiae(21.5%), and non-str, agalactiae Streptococcus(26.4%). Corynebacterium ssp., Pseudomonas spp., Coliforms and Yeasts were also occasionally found to be causative organisms. 4. Strains of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from bovine udders were tested for sensitivity to antibiotics. The rates of resistant strain were 13.7%, 11.8%, 8.8%, 5.9%, 100%, 4.9% and 4.9% for penicillin G, streptomycin, terramycin, erythromycin, chloramphenicol, ampicillin and kanamycin, respectively.

백금전극에 의한 페놀의 전기화학적 산화거동을 순환 전류전압법에 의하여 연구 검토하였다. 페놀의 초기산화전위는 산성용액에서는 전해질용액의 액성에 크게 영향을 받으나, 염기성용액에서는 0.33-0.40V범위로 거의 일정한 산화전위를 나타내었고, 페놀의 농도변화에 따른 전기화학적 최적농도는 0.1N부근에서 가장 유리하였다. 그리고 주사속도변화에 따른 조사에서 페놀산화반응은 비가역적이고 확산이 이 반응을 지배한다. The electrochemical oxidation behavior of phenol on platinum anode had been investigated by cyclic voltammetric method. The initial oxidation potential of phenol was dependent on the pH in acid solution. But in basic solution, it was held 0.33-0.40V(vs. S.C.E.). The peak current was proportional to the concentration of phenol and the optimum concentration was found to be about 0.1N. The oxidation reaction of phenol was found to be irreversible and controlled by diffusion.
황금약침액(黃芩藥鍼液)이 가토(家兎) 신피질절편(腎皮質切片)에서 수은(水銀)에 의한 세포막(細胞膜) 물질이동(物質移動) 기능장애(機能障碍)에 미치는 영향(影響)

This study was undertaken to determine whether Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (SbG) extract exerts the protective effect against $HgCl_2$-induced alterations in membrane transport function in rabbit renal cortical slices. The slices were treated with 0.1 mM $HgCl_2$ for 60 min at $37^{\circ}C$. $HgCl_2$ caused an inhibition in PAH uptake by renal cortical slices. Such an effect was accompanied by depressed $Na^+-K^+$-ATPase activity and ATP depletion. SbG prevented $HgCl_2$-induced inhibition of PAH uptake in a dose-dependent manner at the concentration ranges of 0.01-0.1%. $HgCl_2$-induced inhibition of $Na^+-K^+$-ATPase activity and ATP depletion were significantly prevented by 0.05% SbG. These results suggest that SbG prevents $HgCl_2$-induced alterations in membrane transport function in rabbit renal cortical slices. Such protective effects of SbG may be attributed to inhibition of peroxidation of membrane lipid.

Gastric variceal bleeding is one of the major causes of mortality in patients with cirrhosis. Because of poor liver function and rapid blood flow in patients with gastric varix, the develovement of effective treatment for this condition is a challenge. There is no consensus for optimum treatment of GV and because they comprise an inhomogenous entity, accurate classification is vital to determine the appropriate management. This article is about to discuss the effective treatment for the gastric varix, focusing on revision and update on clinical practice guideline for liver cirrhosis in Korea 2011.
국내외 간세포암의 치료 가이드라인의 차이와 이해 국소치료술을 중심으로

A curative modality for hepatocellular carcinoma was a resection or a liver transplantation in a past decades, but nowadays local ablation therapy like a percutaneous alcohol injection or a radiofrequency ablation is comparable with a surgical resection. So a local ablation therapy is considered as a curative modality. Recently early detection of a small hepatocellular carcinoma is becoming easy due to use a suveillance ultrasonography and computed tomography in a high risk patients. Grobally, an indication for local ablation therapy is a small hepatocellular carcinoma less than 3 cm in diameter and have a well-reserved liver function. But patients who met above indication is also controlled by a liver transplantation or a surgical resection. So we should pay attention to a difference between treatment guidelines and a strengths and weaknesses of local ablation therapy.
21세기 중국의 부상과 동북아, 그리고 한,중대학 교류의 방향

2008년은 중국 개혁개방 30주년을 맞고 있다. 지난 30년 동안 중국의 부상은 국제사회에 동반발전과 평화에 기여할 것이라는 긍정론과 중국의 발전은 한계를 가지고 있고, 그 결과도 타 지역에 갈등과 위협을 줄 것이라는 부정론이다. 이 논문은 중국의 국제적 부상에 대한 기회와 위협이라는 단정론적 평가보다는 중국을 포함한 동북아 지역 주체들이 동북아 협력에 대한 의지와 능력, 그리고 인식을 가지느냐가 중요함을 주장한다. 아울러 중국의 부상에 따른 동북아의 협력과 갈등의 요소들을 제시한다. 특히 진정한 강대국이 되기위해서 중국의 역할이 중요한데, 중국의 진정한 강대국으로서의 조건은 유연하고 포용력 있는 이데올로기와 문화, 동북아 지역의 협력을 유도하기 위한 시스템과 제도, 마인드 제고, 중국내부문제 해결능력을 제시하고 있다. 또한 동북아 협력을 위해서는 민간의 역할, 그 중에서도 한중대학교류가 중요하다고 주장한다. 그리하여 한중대학의 실질적인 교류 활성화를 위한 대학의 노력과 한중 대학생들이 가져야할 자세를 제시하고 있다. It has been 30 years since china`s reform and opening. There are two different views on the emergence of china for the last 30 years . One is that it will contribute not only to China itself but international growth and to world peace. The other concerns that china`s expansion can be quite limiting and it will lead to make conflicts and threats to other areas. This thesis is about how important it is to have willingness and abilities, and to be aware of for cooperation among Northeast Asia rather than conclusive remarks saying that it is an opportunity and threat followed by china`s becoming dominant power in the world. In addition, it shows what causes cooperation and conflicts among Northeast Asia. Role of china is essential to be truly big country. and required conditions would be flexible and broad-minded ideology and culture, system and institution to draw on cooperation among Northeast Asia, raising mind-set and problem-solving ability over china`s domestic issues. Expecially interaction of universities between Korea and China plays a vital role. So the thesis presents how much efforts korea-china universities have to make and the attitude of students for revitalization of practical interaction
