This study analyzes the influence of North Korea on South Korean views of America since February 1998. More specifically, this study examines profoundly changing South Korean image of the northern neighbor, including the generation gap in South Korean views of the North and the United States, its influence on their views of the U.S. military presence, the ROK-U.S. alliance, and Washington`s North Korea policy. From late February 1998, the Kim Dae-jung administration pursued the sunshine policy to actively engage Pyongyang. Kim`s persevered sunshine policy and succeeding Roh Moo-hyun administration`s policy of peace and prosperity with North Korea have profoundly transformed South Korean perceptions of North Korea and the United States--even more than its target, North Korea--in important and often unexpected ways. Like other important social issues, the South Korean image of North Korea shows a considerable generation gap. Young Koreans, having grown up in an era in which school textbooks no longer portrayed North Koreans as devils with horns and tails, have voiced strong sympathy for North Korea and have questioned the wisdom of their grandparents and sometimes their parents in continuing to support close ties with the United States. The U.S. forces Korea (USFK) has been very successful in fulfilling its original mission of deterring another North Korean aggression. The very success has made the U.S. military presence less useful to South Korea. In particular, Seoul`s continuing engagement policy toward Pyongyang has had the unintended consequence of making U.S. troops seem less important for South Korea`s security. As fears of a military threat from the North have rapidly receded, more and more South Koreans have increasingly been critical of the U.S. military presence. Recently, the Seoul-Washington alliance has soured to a considerable and worrisome extent. The tension between South Korea and the United States would lead both sides to reconsider the merits of their military alliance. The North Korean nuclear issue might prove to be a touchstone in changing the alliance that is faced with the greatest challenge in its 50-plus-year history.

Parkinson's disease(PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the functioning of the basal ganglia, a brain area that contributes to the control of movement. The disease is caused by the death of nerve cells in the brain that produce dopamine, a chemical messenger. The cells affected usually produce a neurotransmitter(a chemical that transmits nerver impulses) called dopamine, which acts with acetylcholine, another neurotransmitter, to fine-tune muscle control. In Parkinson's disease, the level of dopamine relative to acetylcholine is reduced, adversely affecting muscle control. When the supply of dopamine is depleted, the function of the basal ganglia is disrupted and its ability to control movement-deteriorates. The result is that PD patients experience moderate rigidity, difficulty in initiating movements and slowness in executing them, and a rhythmical tremor at rest. Although the cause of Parkinson's disease is not known, genetic factors may be involved. About 3 in 10 people with the disorder have an affected family member. About 1 in 100 people over the age of 60 in the US have Parkinson's disease. And Parkinson's disease is slightly more common in men. The course of the disease is variable, but drags may be the best effective in treating the symptoms and improving quality of life. But, The doctor may arrange physical therapy to help with physical mobility problems. It is important to continue to exercise and take care of your general health. Try to take a walk each day. Stretching exercises can help you maintain your strength and mobility. So, This papers will serve about the information of PD for clinical physical therapist. Finally, The aim of review is increasing approach method and technique for PD patients by the view of physical therapy.

Physiotherapy may be defined as the use of physical techniques for the treatment of injuries and movement dysfunction. In the world of human medicine, physiotherapy has been proven as an indispensable aid in the recovery of many musculoskeletal conditions, as evidenced by the extensive physiotherapy departments within most hospitals. Nowadays, this important branch of medicine is also rapidly becoming a recognised tool in the prevention, cure, and rehabilitation of many equine, canine and feline injuries. In 1978, canine physical therapy techniques were described by Ann Downer, a physical therapist on faculty at Ohio State University. Animal physical therapy is a new and rapidly developing field of health care for animals. The benefits of physical therapy have long been recognized in humans. More recently, work in the veterinary field has shown the same benefits of physical therapy to be true for animal patients. Performing orthopaedic or neurological surgery, or fitting a human patient with a cast or splint, and then discharging the patient is an outdated approach. In such cases, physical therapy is clearly warranted. Similarly, recent research has shown that post-surgical rehabilitation and therapy after injuries significantly improves the functional outcomes for animals. The goals of physiotherapy are to relieve pain, restore range of motion/movement, improve function, prevent injuries and expand the physical potential of the patient. Once in the field, physical therapists actively continue their education to keep up to date on the latest treatments and technologies. Via continuing education courses, physiotherapists can learn how to apply their unique and specialized knowledge to other animal species.

본고에서는 일반적인 디지틀 필터의 설계 방법과 설계시 고려 사항을 살펴보고, 특히 실시간 구현이 어려운 고속 IIR 디지틀 필터의 설계 방법에 대하여 고찰하였다. 현재의 발달된 VLSI 기술의 잇점을 최대로 활용하기 위한 병렬 및 파이프라이닝 필터들의 구조 및 특성을 비교하였으며, 실제 하드웨어를 구현하는 여러가지 방법들을 상술하였다. 또한 각 연산 소자를 고속으로 구현하기 위한 비트레벨 구조및 수체계(Numer System)에 대해 알아보고, 이를 이용한 파이프라이닝 필터의 설계 예를 보였다. 필터의 구조에 따라 유한 길이 레지스터(FWL)의 영향이 달라지며, 제안된 새로운 구조에 대한 FWL영향의 분석이 항시 수행되어야 한다. 디지틀 필터에서의 FWL영향과 그 분석 방법, 그리고 이를 줄이기 위한 설계 방법에 대해 기술하였다. 디지틀 필터를 포함한 많은 디지틀 신호 처리 알고리즘이 내재된 병렬성을 갖고 있으며, 이들의 효율적인 하드웨어 실현을 위해 본고에서 고찰한 기술들이 적용될 수 있다.

The veterinary physical therapy is so called physical therapy for animals. The veterinary physical therapist is working for veterinary physical therapy or physical therapy for animals in clinical field. The veterinary medicine field has not veterinary rehabilitation and physical therapy, also physical therapy field in Korea. So, This research will explain about veterinary physical therapy of Korea and other countries' by journals and Internet information and suggest the future of the veterinary physical therapist.
