이해는 현상의 요소들 간의 관계와 구조 및 패턴에 대한 인식이 성장하는 것을 의미한다. 그런 가운데 학습자의 경험은 있는 그대로의 던져진 전체로서의 삶에 근거한다. 따라서 학습의 기초는 추상으로서의 학문이 아니라 학습자의 실제 세계이어야 한다는 요구가 따라 나온다. 요컨대 통합 학습을 요청하는 것이다. 통합 학습은 기능을 적용하는 데 도움을 주고, 통합된 지식은 정보를 빠르게 조회할 수 있도록 해주며, 깊고 넓은 학습을 통해 복합적이고 중층적인 관점을 형성해주는 동시에 적극적이고 긍정적인 태도를 지니게 하는 의의를 지닌다. 그럼에도 불구하고 1987년, 제5차 사회과 교육과정 이래 사회과가 천명하고 있는 통합교육과정은 선언적인 수준에서 합산적인 통합의 정도에 머무르고 있는 실정이다. 사회과 통합에 관한 이중 담론 구조가 원인으로 작용하고 있는 것이다. 다학문적 통합, 간학문적 통합, 초학문적 통합 등의 세 유형에 근거한 대안적인 통합은 더 이상 합산적 통합에 안주하지 않으면서도 지리, 역사, 일반사회 등 영역에 따라 선택적으로 통합을 구현할 수 있는 의미를 지닌다. 특히 스트랜드 중심의 통합은 제5차 사회과 교육과정 이전의 분과 형식을 유지하면서도 영역의 실정과 성격을 고려해서 나름대로 현실적합성을 충족할 수 있는 통합 교육과정을 모색할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. Understanding means the growth of episteme about relation, structure, and pattern of phenomena. And the experience of learner is found on the narrative holistic forms of life. In this respect, The foundation of learning has to be learner`s real life. In conclusion, Integrated learning is requested. Integrated learning enables application of skills, reference of information, multi-perspective through in-depth study, and construction of positive attitude. None the less, The integrated Social Studies Education Curriculum have been firmly maintaining externally aggregated integration since the 5th Social Studies Education Curriculum. And double discourse structure of Social Studies integration is laid in the bone of this phenomena. The alternative type of integration drawn out multidisciplinary integration, interdisciplinary integration, and trans-disciplinary integration can be applied to actual integration.

The development perspective of curriculum revision has twofold characters. One is top-down process, the other driven by external power. These characters caused irrelevance to teacher`s practical knowledge and classroom instruction. Now, we need to cover these problem through the understanding perspective of curriculum development The learner`s experienced curriculum depend on teacher`s practical knowledge. If national curriculum is irrelevant to teacher`s practical knowledge, then the national curriculum will be deconstructed by teacher`s practical knowledge. In this respect, it can be said that curriculum revision must be founded on understanding of teacher`s practical knowledge. According to this perspective, some recommendation about national curriculum revision could be suggested as follows. First, the national curriculum revision must be founded on mutual adaptation perspective that presuppose teacher as decision-maker. Second, An organization that manage curriculum research and development must be founded. Third, a progressive, partial, and ordinary way of revision must be established instead of whole and temporal way of revision. Finery, a curriculum revision system that adjust organically condition, source, procedure, agency, and implementation in relation to curriculum revision.

A liberalism aims for the individual right and the right-oriented political order. This has to do with the prerequisite that human being can rational judgement and autonomous choice. In comparison, communitarianism aims for the good and communal self constructed by historical and cultural context. A common good regards as immanent goodness in social practice, and the social practice is rooted in communicative discourse originated from historical and cultural context. The social practice is incomplete and irrational. Nevertheless, it is rational for the reason that it is constructed by ancestors` critical consciousness. Therefore, community members experience rationality through practicing social practice, and by this rational experience they enable to criticise irrationality in social practice. In this context political education claims the principle that dialectic relation of practice and critics must be applied. Politics is characterized by normativeness and duplicity. So, the truth, the absolute, and the objectivity are denied, instead ``to differ`` and ``to defer`` are accommodated. In other words, political world is difference world. In this context political education must accommodate the perspective of difference.

A Film ‘Inception’ has two educational meaning. The first meaning is ‘meta’, and the second meaning is a construction of metaphor. In the film, a designer designs a dream of dream that dreams a dream in dreaming. In other words, ‘meta-dream’. A meta has a particular meaning in learning. A metacognition enables the reconstruction of meaning through deconstruction of prior-knowledge learner itself. The construction of meaning is not a objective cognition of object but a metaphorical interpretation of image. A penrose stairs, in the film, implicate the deconstruction of division between virtual reality and reality. The cognition of social phenomena is the same here. A concept is not a representation of objective reality but a metaphor of constructive image.

The abstract concept is central to the political concept as the central domain in social studies. Traditionally, a concept has been considered a reflecting attribute but, the abstract concept is constructed by interpretation and emotion of the epistemological subject based on contingency. From this point of view, a political concept learning request is also an alternative learning perspective. An alternative perspective that “learning is meaning” is constructed on the basis of prior knowledge and prior experience of the learner by interpretation and emotion.

Citizenship means membership and friendship that should be equipped by a member of political community as political practices. Citizenship conceptually presuppose individual agent as a part of the whole and categorically as a member of political community corresponding to national category. Contents for citizenship education curriculum should be constructed according to three criteria. The first is that the source of contents should be rooted in knowledge of politics, for political community is a source of citizenship as well as political science. Second, contents should be constructed so that learner could be able to learn according to rational judgement related internally both learner and contents. Then, interdisciplinary integration and historical context are the third criteria that rule the consturction and organization of contents, because the relation of politics and law is of content and form, and political practices as sources of citizenship is a narrative forms of life

This study was conducted to determine the effects of gamma and e-beam irradiation on the quality of minced pork and pork patties. Each sample was irradiated at 5 to 20kGy, and its quality characteristics were then evaluated during storage at 30. The results of the total bacterial populations in the minced-pork and pork patty samples showed that the antimicrobial effect of gamma irradiation was superior to that of e-beam irradiation. The 2-thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) value of all the samples significantly increased (p<0.05) as the irradiation dose and storage period increased. In addition, the gamma-irradiated (GI) samples had higher (p<0.05) TBARS values than the e-beam-irradiated (EI) samples. The volatile basic nitrogen contents of the GI samples were lower (p<0.05) than those of the EI samples. The color values, such as the $L^*$(brightness), $a^*$(redness), and $b^*$(yellowness) of the minced pork and pork patties, were increased (p<0.05) by irradiation. The hardness and sensory properties, such as the color, chewiness, taste, and overall acceptability of the pork patties, were decreased when the irradiation dose increased, and the hardness and sensory scores of the GI samples were lower than those of the EI samples.
