본 연구는 B형 및 C형 간염에 대한 한약 치료의 효과를 평가하기 위해 무작위 임상연구를 대상으로 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석을 시행하였다. 검색엔진은 EMBASE, Pubmed, NDSL, KMBASE, KISS, KISTI, Koreamed, Koreantk, Oasis database를 이용하였으며 국내의 검색 엔진 키워드는 '간염' 또는 '바이러스성간염', '한약', '무작위 배정 임상시험'을, 국외 검색 엔진 키워드는 'hepatitis' or 'viral hepatitis' and 'herbal medicine' or 'traditional chinese medicine' and 'randomized controlled trial'을 이용하였다. 연구 결과 15개의 무작위배정 임상시험을 선택되었으며, 그 중 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 나타낸 연구는 한약과 양약 복합치료군이 양약을 투여한 대조군에 비해 HBV DNA loss에서 높은 효과를 보였다. 한약과 양약 복합치료군이 양약을 투여한 대조군에 비해 HBeAg loss에서 통계적으로 유의한 효과를 보였으며, 한약과 양약 복합치료군이 양약을 투여한 대조군에 비해 ALT가 감소하였다. 본 연구는 B형 및 C형 간염환자를 대상으로 한약의 효과를 확인하기 위해 기존에 시행된 RCT 연구를 대상으로 체계적 문헌고찰을 시행하였으며, 한약과 양약의 복합치료가 양약 단독치료에 비해 치료효과가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. The aim of this study was to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that applied herbal medicine to treat viral hepatitis B and C in order to determine the therapeutic efficacy of herbal medicine. EMBASE, Pubmed, NDSL, KMBASE, KISS, KISTI, Koreamed, Koreantk, and Oasis databases were searched to identify RCTs. The selected studies were assessed by the Cochrane group's risk of bias tool. A total of 15 RCTs were selected, and the hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA reduction was significantly higher in patients treated with herbal medicine combined with Western medicine than in patients treated with herbal medicine. Herbal medicine combined with Western medicine was also superior to Western medicine alone in achieving hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg) and alanine aminotransferase [ALT] reduction. Only herbal medicine alone was not superior to Western medicine treatments in achieving HBV DNA, HBeAg, and ALT reduction.
자동차 제조회사 근로자를 대상으로 흡연과 스트레스 지수 및 혈관노화도와의 관계

Objectives : This study investigated the relationship between smoking and health factors including stress resistance, stress index, fatigue and vaso-aging degree. Methods : The subjects were 19,953 persons who had received health examination by Korean Medicine and submitted questionnaires about smoking history, for 8 months from March to November in 2011. The stress index and resistance, fatigue were measured by HRV(Heart Rate Variability). The vaso-aging degree were measured by APG(Accelerated Photoplethysmograph). Results : Regarding the relationship between smoking and stress index and resistance, fatigue and vaso-aging degree were significant differences(p<0.05). Conclusions : This study suggests that smoking affects health factors including stress, fatigue and avaso-aging degree.
유로조건에 따른 압축공기 초음속 유동 현상의 해석 연구

일반적으로 열차 제동을 위한 제동력은 압축공기를 활용하여 제공된다. 열차에 상황별로 적절 제동력을 가하기 위해 사용하는 압력밸브 시스템은 복잡한 유동 회로를 가진다. 이를일반적인 기계가공으로 제작 시, 유로형상설계에 제약이 있는 반면, 3D 프린팅 기법으로 제작시 유동 효율을 증대할 수 있는 유로형상 제작이 가능하다. 따라서 이번 연구에서는 기존의 제작 방식으로 유로를 제작하는 경우와, 3D프린팅의 장점을 살려, 자유로운 형상의 유로를 제작하는 경우를 비교하여, 압력밸브 시스템 내의 압축공기 유동의 현상을 해석적으로 분석하였다. 해석을 위한 조건으로는, 유로 방향이 바뀔 때 유로의 곡률 크기, 유로의 직경, 입구 및 저장소 압력의 크기, 그리고 압축공기의 초기 온도로 구분하였다. 압력손실의 최소화 및 유동 특성의 균일성이 제동 효율 개선에 영향을 주는 요인이므로, 수치해석을 통한 연구를 통해 일반적인 기계가공을 통한 직각 유로 형상보다는 3D 프린팅을 통한 곡률 유로의 경우가 제동효율 개선에 유리함을 확인하였다. The braking force for a train is generally provided by compressed air. The pressure valve system that is used to apply appropriate braking forces to trains has a complex flow circuit. It is possible to make a channel shape that can increase the flow efficiency by 3D printing. There are restrictions on the flow shape design when using general machining. Therefore, in this study, the compressed air flow was analyzed in a pressure valve system by comparing flow paths made with conventional manufacturing methods and 3D printing. An analysis was done to examine the curvature magnitude of the flow path, the diameter of the flow path, the magnitude of the inlet and reservoir pressure, and the initial temperature of the compressed air when the flow direction changes. The minimization of pressure loss and the uniformity of the flow characteristics influenced the braking efficiency. The curvilinear flow path made through 3D printing was advantageous for improving the braking efficiency compared to the rectangular shape manufactured by general machining.
팔미지황환의 Propylthiouracil로 유발된 Rat 갑상샘기능저하성웅성 생식기 손상 제어 효과

Objectives: This study was to evaluate the effect of Palmijihwang-whan (PMJHW) aqueous extract in the regulation of hypothyroidism related reproductive organ damages in propylthiouracil (PTU)-induced rat model. Methods: PMJHW aqueous extract (yield=17.90%) were administered, once a day for 42 days from 2 weeks before start of PTU treatment as oral doses of 500, 250, and 125 mg/kg (body weight), and hypothyroidism was induced by daily subcutaneous treatment of PTU 10 mg/kg for 28 days. Results: PTU-induced hypothyroidism and related male reproductive organ damages-atrophic changes of testis, epididymis and prostate, were favorably and dose-dependently inhibited by treatment of PMJHW 500, 250, and 125 mg/kg. They also effectively regulated the PTU-induced abnormal antioxidant defense system changes in the testis. Although levothyroxine also favorably inhibited PTU-induced hypothyroidism, it deteriorated the hypothyroidism related male reproductive organ damages through testicular oxidative damages. The results suggest that oral administration of 125, 250, and 500 mg/kg of PMJHW has favorable effects on the hypothyroidism and related reproductive organ damages through augmentation of antioxidant defense system in the testis. Conclusions: This study suggest that PMJHW may be help to ameliorate the hypothyroidism and related organ damages in clinics.
