This paper presents a study on an acoustic energy harvesting using the resonator with piezoelectric materials. With emerging need for alternative energy, a possibility of gaining the energy from the environment will be investigated. The resonators with different dimensions have different resonant frequencies. Thus, with the various parameters such as the cross-section of the neck, cavity volume, and neck length of the resonator, we measure the generated voltage with the PZT on the diaphragm. This experimental device is composed of the excited part, the duct part and the resonator part. An excited part uses a speaker. The radius and height of the resonator are 10㎜ and 25㎜. Volume of the cavity is 55600㎣. A result indicates the voltage of 834mV at the optimum excited frequency of 800㎐. By analyzing results of experiments and changing size of a device, we can expect the improving voltages with the different sizes of the piezoelectric elements.

법원이 국민의 기본권을 보장하여야 할 의무를 지는 것은, 우리 헌법 제10조와 제103조 등의 명시적 명령에 따른 것임과 동시에 권력분립의 원칙상 사법의 고유 기능은 입법 및 행정이 간과하기 쉬운 기본권적 가치에 대한 진지한 주목과 평가에 집중되어야 되기 때문이다. 법원이 기본권보장의무를 실현하는 과정은, 재판에의 접근가능성을 높이고, 사실인정 과정에서 절차적 기본권의 의미와 정신을 철저하게 관철하며, 법률을 해석, 적용함에 있어서도 기본권적 가치가 반영되도록 하는 작업 등을 실천하는 것이다. 법원이 최초의 심급 단계에서부터 기본권에 근거한 국민의 주장을 늘 진지하게 대하고 평가하여야만 국민은 자신의 기본권이 법원의 재판과정에서 보장될 가능성이 있음을 신뢰하게 될 것이다. The courts' obligation to guarantee people's basic rights originates from explicit orders, such as Article 10 and Article 103 of the Constitution, as well as the inherent function of the judiciary under the principle of separation of powers that requires concentration on sincere attention and assessment of the value of basic rights, which can easily be overlooked by the legislature and the executive. The process of fulfilling courts' duty to protect basic rights includes: increasing the trial accessibilities, strictly realizing the meaning and spirit of procedural basic rights in the process of fact finding, and endeavoring to factor basic rights values into interpretation and application of statutes. The courts, from the stage of the first instance, must always maintain sincerity in handling and assessing people's arguments based on their basic rights, so that they can trust that their basic rights can be guaranteed in court trials.
무지외반증에서 생체흡수성 나사못으로 고정한 변형 마우 절골술의 결과

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the clinical results of application of bioabsorbable screws in hallux valgus surgery using modified Mau osteotomy. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed medical records of 25 patients. Operations were performed between May 2013 and January 2014. We performed 33 modified Mau osteotomies and fixed using bioabsorbable screws. Mean age of patients was 52 years (range 19 to 71). Mean follow up duration was 13.2 months (range 12.3 to 18.9). The clinical evaluations included pain visual analogue scale (VAS) score, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) score, and satisfaction score. Weight bearing anteroposterior radiographs were taken for measurement of hallux valgus angle (HVA), intermetatarsal angle (IMA), and distal metatarsal articular angle (DMAA). All radiographs were evaluated in order to detect complications related to bioabsorbable screws such as osteolysis, cyst formation, and fixation failure. Results: The mean pre- and postoperative pain VAS scores were 4.0 and 1.7 (p<0.05). The mean AOFAS score improved from 52.6 to 82.8 (p<0.05). Preoperative HVA and IMA were 31.2 and 13.9, respectively. Postoperative HVA and IMA were 5.2 and 6.2 (p<0.05). The DMAA increased from 7.8 to 9.9 (p<0.05). There was one case of superficial wound infection and one loss of correction, and no case of osteolysis, cystic formation around the screw, or deep infection. All patients showed union without fixation failure. Conclusion: The clinical and radiological evaluation of this study demonstrates reliable results without fixation failure or allergic reaction. The use of bioabsorbable screw appears not to be inferior to metal screw fixation in hallux valgus surgery.

The Akin osteotomy is a complimentary procedure in hallux valgus surgery. Surgical techniques may vary depending on the operators or fixation devices. Suture fixation, for which a removal procedure is not necessary, can often be recommended. However, there is a risk of failure due to the thin cortex of the phalanx. We describe a new technique using Ethibond suture fixation in Akin osteotomy, which can lower the risk of phalangeal cortical failure and articular cartilage irritation. First, the Akin osteotomy was performed on the proximal phalanx 5 to 6 mm distal to the first metatarsophalangeal joint. Then bone holes were drilled from dorsum to plantar parallel to osteotomy with the Kirschner wire. The final procedure involved passing the Ethibond sutures connected to a straight needle through the holes and tying it. This fixation method offers an effective and easy technique for performance of Akin osteotomy.

Recently the demand for natural gas as clean and safe energy due to concerns about global warming and interests in green ship is increasing. The dual fuel(DF) engine, one of environmentally friendly engines, is preferred for general merchant ships and power plants as well as LNG carriers. This is for the reasons of having higher efficiency and lower nitrogen and sulfur oxides emissions by operating on LNG fuel with a small amount of light fuel oil. In this study, the engine body vibration characteristics of 12V50DF in a generator set with engine-resilient-mounted, generator-rigid-mounted and flexible-coupling configuration are investigated through theoretical analysis and comprehensive vibration measurement. This analysis showed the dynamic behavior of engine excitation forces and seismic waves. And the suitable countermeasures for reducing vibration and safe operation are proposed.

Intensive torrential rains occur frequently according to the climate change, and natural disasters such as the collapse of facilities and landslides are gradually increasing, which leads to enormous damage to environment and human society. Expecially, in residential areas or road slopes, it is very crucial to understand the signs of collapse as they lead to significant injuries. In the case of road slopes, measurement sensors are installed on steep slopes to monitor the changes of the slope in real time. However, the sensor-based monitoring approach has a limited performance in monitoring a wide section of a slope without a blind spot. Thus, this research proposes a collaborative approach to deal with the existing problems. This research is expected to improve the existing measurement for identifying the signs of the collapse by the convergence of drone s numerical information technology, groundwater presence prediction technology using thermal imaging camera, and 3D post-processing technology.
