        Mycobacterium Abscessus에 의한 척추골수염

        The designation nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) applies to mycobacterial species other than organisms of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and Mycobacterium leprae, In recent decades, the prevalence of human disease caused by NTM has increased; thus, the clinical significance of NTM is increasing. Mycobacterium abscessus is a rapidly growing nontuberculous mycobacterial species that is usually associated with chronic pulmonary disease, posttraumatic soft-tissue infections, nosocomial bloodstream infections, wound infections, and abscesses at the site of prior intramuscular injections; however, vertebral osteomyelitis due to this species is rare. Here, we present a case of vertebral osteomyelitis due to M. abscessus that occurred in a patient with iatrogenic Cushing`s syndrome and a history of acupuncture who was treated with wide surgical excision and prolonged combined antibiotic treatment.

        준고령 이상 남성의 우울증 관련 변인과 골밀도의 관계및 신체활동의 매개효과: 국민건강영양조사 2008-2011

        본 연구의 목적은 55세 이상 남성의 우울증 관련변인과 골밀도의 관계를 알아보고, 주요 신체활동을 포함한 건강행태 변인의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이었다. 이를 위해 2008-2011 국민건강영양조사 자료를 분석하였다. 골밀도는 이중 에너지 방사선 흡수 계측기를 이용해 대퇴경부에서 측정하였으며, 우울증 관련 변인은 의사에게 진단된 우울증 유무와 2주 이상 지속된 우울감 경험, 자살생각 경험으로 측정하였다. 우울증 변인과 골밀도의 관계에 대한 건강행태 매개변인으로는 체내 비타민 D 농도, 칼슘 섭취량, 고위험 음주행태, 지구성 신체활동, 저항성 운동을 검증하였다. 우울증 변인, 매개변인, 골밀도의 관계는 인구통계학적 요인을 공변인으로하여 선형회귀분석, 로지스틱회귀분석, 경로분석을 통해 알아보았다. 의사에게 진단된 우울증 유무는 골밀도와 유의한 관계가 없었다. 그러나 우울감 및 자살생각 경험 집단은 비경험 집단에 비해 골밀도가 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그 중 2주 이상 우울감 경험과 골밀도의 관계는 본 연구에 투입된 건강행태 변인에 의해 유의하게 매개되지 않는 것으로 나타났으나, 자살생각 경험과 골밀도의 관계는 지구성 신체활동 부족 통해 유의하게 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 첫째, 우울증 진단여부와 관계없이 지난 1년간 심각한 우울감과 자살생각을 경험한 노인은 골감소증 고위험군이며, 둘째, 이들에 대한 신체활동증진이 골감소증 중복이 환을 예방하기 위해 시급한 중재전략일 수 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between depression and bone mineral density in Korean elder men (55+), and test mediating role of health behaviors. Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2006-2011 data were analyzed. Bone mineral density was measured using DXA. Depression was measured by whether a participant had diagnosed depression, depressed mood lasted longer than 2 weeks, and/or suicidal thinking. Mediating health behaviors were serum vitamine D, calcium intake, high-risk drinking, endurance physical actiity, and resistance exercise. The associations among depression, health behaviors, and bone mineral density with demographic covariates were tested by linear regression, logistic regression, and path analysis. Diagnosed depression was not significantly associated with bone mineral density. Men who experienced substantial depressed mood and suicidal thinking has significantly lower bone mineral density than non-experienced counterparts. The effect of suicidal thinking on bone mineral density was mediated by endurance physical activity only. This study results suggest that elder men who experienced severely depressed mood and suicidal thinking were at-risk population for osteopenia. Also, physical activity intervention seems to be a priority to prevent osteoporosis comorbidity in depressed people.

      • 투자심리에 관한 정신분석학적 고찰

        People today have strong interest in the successful ways of money investment. The ways of getting rich are what they really want to know. This paper deals with the psychological strategies of getting wealth The analysts talked about the deeper knowledge of it than other professionals. They look for unconscious motivational powers and their impact on the vicissitudes of human`s material life. Some early analysts including Sigmund Freud and Karl Abraham consider a person`s money life as part of anal activities. Other analysts including Ernest Bornemann believe that people`s money life is related to their oral history. On the basis of reading their works, I argue here 6 principles for successful money management and two ways of transforming one`s money life. The six principles include 1) saving money and getting emotional security, 2) understanding quantum physics and having full authority over wealth, 3) respecting the value of money and getting a sense of humility in money issues, 4) giving out money for lessening the power of one`s unrecognized sense of guilt, 5) getting oneself trained professionally or utilizing good fund managers, and 6) observing the moral and ethical standards in increasing one`s own money. On the basis of Kohut`s Self Psychology and Stolorow`s Intersubjectivity, I propose the two ways of transforming one`s money fate: 1) releasing tension in one`s pathological and negative money images, and 2) reorganizing one`s mental representations of money toward the healthy and positive ones. The key is to change one`s mental representations of money and wealth. If one can do that, then one can relive one`s money life better and fully enjoyable.

        브랜치 소자를 갖는 십자형 모노폴 안테나의 설계

        본 논문에서는 브랜치 소자를 갖는 십자형 모노폴 안테나를 제안하고 복사 특성을 확인하였다. 제안된 안테나의 광대역 특성을 확인하기 위하여 PCS, WCDMA, WiBro, S-DMB 대역(1.750~2.655 ㎓)에서 안테나를 설계제작하고 복사 특성을 측정하였다. 제안된 안테나는 수직면 내 지향성, 수평면 내 무지향성 특성을 가지며, VSWR은 주파수 1.72~2.82 ㎓에서 1.5 이하, 안테나 이득은 1.9 ㏈i 이상으로 나타났다. 측정 결과로부터 제안된 안테나는 PCS, WCDMA, WiBro, S-DMB 대역에서 사용될 수 있는 광대역 특성을 갖는 안테나로 확인되었다. In this paper, the cross monopole antenna with branch element is presented and its radiation characteristics are investigated. To confirm the broadband characteristics of the proposed antenna, the experimental antenna is designed, fabricated, and its radiation characteristics are measured in PCS, WCDMA, WiBro and S-DMB band(1.750~2.655 ㎓). It is shown that the designed antenna has the non-directional pattern in the horizontal plane, the directional pattern in the vertical plane, VSWR less than 1.5 and gain over 1.9 ㏈i in 1.72~2.82 ㎓. From these results, the presented antenna is conformed as a broadband antenna which can be used for PCS, WCDMA, WiBro and S-DMB band.

        은행엽엑스 함유 세치제의 구강질환 예방효능 평가 연구

        Objectives: The study evaluated the effects of dentifrice with the proper amount of ginkgo biloba extract in the prevention of gum disease through clinical trials. Methods: Total sixty volunteers from the experimental group using experimental dentifrice (30 volunteers) and the control group using control dentifrice (30 volunteers) should use the experimental and control dentifrice for 8 weeks. Before the experiment, and 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks after the experiment, the papillary marginal attached gingival Index (the PMA index), Talbott’s gingival index, patient hygiene performance index (PHP index), and Tureski’s dental plaque index test were tested six times. Results: As a result of the PMA index measurement, the experimental and control groups showed statistically significant differences after 6 weeks, and the experimental group showed a significant decrease in the PMA index from 4 weeks after the experiment. The patient hygiene performance index measurement results showed a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after 4 weeks, and the experimental group showed a significant decrease in the PHP index 2 weeks after the experiment. Conclusions: The use of ginkgo-leaf-extract-containing-dentifrice confirmed that improved dental plaque removal, gingivitis relief, and periodontal disease prevention could be expected.

      • 원자력발전소 증기발생기 2 차측 이물질검사를 통한 전열관 건전성 향상 방안 연구

        원자력발전소의 증기발생기는 1 차측 냉각수(원자로냉각재)와 2 차측 냉각수(급수)가 압력경계(1mm 두께)를 이루며 열교환을 통해 증기를 생산한다. 2 차측 관판상부에는 증기발생기로 유입된 이물질과 불순물이 농축 및 축적된다. 따라서, 계획예방정비(O/H) 마다 1 차측 와전류탐상검사(ECT)와 2 차측 랜싱(Lancing) 및 FOSAR(In-Bundle FOSAR 포함) 작업을 수행하여 잔류이물질을 검사 및 제거하고 있다. 증기발생기는 모델마다 전열관 배치 및 간격이 다르기 때문에 다양한 장비들이 사용된다. CANDU, W-F모델의 경우 Lancing 과 In-Bundle FOSAR 가 동시에 가능한 반면 CE-80 모델은 전열관 간격이 좁아 Lancing 과 In-Bundle FOSAR를 분리 수행하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 CE-80 모델 In-Bundle FOSAR를 위해 장비(측시 장비 포함)가 개발되었다. 대부분의 가동 중 증기발생기 전열관은 운전 중 표면의 변화(물리적, 화학적)로 인해 빛 간섭 현상이 발생하지 않지만, 신규 증기발생기는 전열관 표면 빛 간섭 현상이 발생하여 검사의 어려움이 생긴다. 간섭 현상은 전열관 건전성 확인이 어렵기 때문에 ECT의 MRPC를 이용하여 건전성 확인하였고, 즉시 검사장비를 개선(물리적, 전기적) 하였다. 그 결과 미세조도 조절이 가능한 전열관 검사장비를 통해서 증기발생기 전열관의 건전성을 확보하고 잔류물질 검사를 수행하였다. Steam Generator (SG) of Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) is a component that generates steam through heat exchange, with pressure boundary between the primary cooling water (reactor coolant water), and the secondary cooling water (feed water), which is formed by a 1mm tube. At the top of the tube sheet on the secondary side of the SG, foreign objects and impurities entering the steam generator are accumulated and concentrated during the NPPs operation. During planned overhaul period, the NPPs can inspect and remove impurities in the SG by carrying out primary ECT (Eddy Current Test) and the secondary Lancing and FOSAR (Foreign Object Search and Retrieval). Various equipment are used since SGs have different tube arrangements and intervals for different models. For CANDU and W-F models; FOSAR can be used to operate simultaneously with Lancing, while CE-80 models perform separately due to narrow tube spacing. Thus, CE-80 model's SG has been developed for FOSAR. Moreover, differences in size measurement in tube intervals and not having the capability to inspect Stay-Rod areas causes difficulties during inspections. In most operations, light interference phenomenon changes don’t occur on the surface of SG tubes (physically and chemically), however for new SGs, the impossibilities for SG tube inspection may arise. If the SG tube surface inspections is impossible, it is difficult to secure the integrity from them. Hence, after checking the integrity using ECT's MRPC; a physical and electrical equipment inspection method was devised to improve these problems. As a result, efficient residual material inspection is carried out to secure the integrity of the SG tube through improved microlight adjustable electric tube inspection equipment. To ensure the trustworthiness of the SG tube, the newly developed inspection equipment can alleviate and remove such problems. It will allow efficient residual material inspection.
