The purpose of this study was to define teachers` learning motivation strategies and students` responses by analyzing science classes and interviews. The subjects were first grade and sixth grade teachers and students of an elementary school. The analysis tools are based on Keller`s ARCS theory. The differences of teachers` motivation strategies were analyzed by grades and teachers` and students` backgrounds. The interviewers were composed of three teachers and three students of first grade, and three teachers and three students of sixth grade. The data were collected by recording of the classes using tape recorders, video cameras, and notebooks written by researchers. The results are as follows. First, teachers had their own styles of teaching strategies in their classes. Especially teachers` teaching backgrounds affected on the teachers` instructional strategies. The teachers who had long teaching experiences of lower grade students used to show a lot of attention strategies. While the teachers with long teaching experiences of higher grade students used to show few learning motivation strategies. Especially, sixth grade teachers used to show fewer confidence strategies than first grade teachers. Second, all of the teachers used to show few satisfaction strategies commonly in all the classes observed. Third, the students` recognition of the motivation strategies were not different according to their conceptions or activities of the classes. Commonly first grade students focused on the attention strategies, while sixth grade students focused on negative motivation strategies. Fourth, the teachers who believed that students need detail guidance and control recognized the needs of satisfaction strategies by students` autononmous activities after observing video tapes of other teachers` classes.

The compressive residual stress, which is inducing by shot peening process, has the effect of increasing the intrinsic fatigue strength of surface and therefore would be beneficial in reducing the probability of fatigue damage. However, it was not known that the effect of shot peening in corrosion environment. In this study, the influence of shot peening and corrosion condition for corrosion property were investigated on immersed in 3.5% NaCl, 10% HNO₃ + 3% HF, 6% FeCl₃. The immersion test was performed with two kind of specimen. The immersion periods was performed 360days. Corrosion potential, weight loss were investigated from experimental results. From test results, the effect of shot peening on the corrosion characteristics was evaluated.

The lightness of components required on marine and shipbuilding industry is requiring high strength of components. In particular, fatigue failure phenomena, which happen in metal, bring on danger in human life and property. Therefore, antifatigue failure technology takes an important part of current industries. In this study, it was investigated about endurance and fatigue crack propagation rate of according to welding methods of SMAW, FCAW and SAW commonly using for welding structures in present. Endurance limits carried out highly in the order of SMAW, FCAW, SAW and fatigue crack propagation rate out lowly in the order of SMAW, FCAW, SAW. By these results, it is needed to used SMAW welding methods for welding structures with small welding capacity and FCAW, SAW methods for large welding structures after consideration about economic gains and operation efficiency of welding. Fatigue crack propagation rate is more effected by strength of welding materials than endurance limit of welding materials according to welding methods.

복강 내에서 발견되는 종양은 위, 간, 췌장, 대장 등 소화기계 암종이나 비뇨생식기계 종양으로부터 전이된 경우가 많으나 드물게는 원발성 종양으로 중피세포나 뮬러관에서 기원한 종양이 발생할 수 있다. 전체 중피종의 14.4% 정도가 복막에서 유래하며 대부분은 흉막에서 발생한다. 저자들은 6개월이상의 복수를 주증상으로 내원한 환자의 복부 전산화 단층촬영에서 위장막 종괴의 산재를 발견하고 초음파유도 하에 경복부 침생검을 시행하여 악성 중피종으로 진단된 48세

Pleuropulmonary manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) are protean and include pleuritis, pulmonary nodule, chronic interstitial pneumonitis, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary embolism, alveolar hemorrhage, bronchiolitis obliterans (with or without organizing pneumonia), and opportunistic pulmonary infections. Although bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia (BOOP) has been associated with several connective tissue disorders, there are rare repots of BOOP in patients with SLE. We present a patient with SLE who complained cough and exercise induced dyspnea. Simple chest radiography and high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) of lung were consistent with BOOP and thoracoscopic lung biopsy showed BOOP. Clinical symptoms and radiographic findings were improved after treatment with methylprednisolone pulse and intravenous cyclophosphamide pulse therapy.

The security of stability for fractures of all sorts of parts and structure has become a first subject these days. We have need to organize fatigue characteristics of weldment because fatigue break out suddenly without a change of shape. In this study, we execute the fatigue test according to different of the welding method at the same materials. It was investigated about a fatigue limit according to welding methods of SMAW, FCAW and SAW at normal temperature and a frequency of 10Hz. The important results of the experimental study on fatigue characteristics of weldment are as follows: The fatigue limit of welding methods became low in the order of SMAW, FCAW, SAW.
