Over the years, engineered heart tissue (EHT), composed of cardiac cells and a hydrogel, has been considered as a promising in-vitro cardiac model in that it can reproduce the physiological contractions of an actual animal heart. In particular, the contractile force of EHT is one of the representative factors to evaluate drug-induced cardiotoxicity that is a major cause of the withdrawal of drug development. Although there have been a lot of methods to monitor the contractile force of the EHT, most of them are based on optical readout systems that have to process a huge amount of image data. Recently, a strain gauge-based microphysiological system was developed to monitor the contractile force of a laminar cardiac tissue, which can acquire real-time data with a relatively small amount of data. However, the system can monitor only few layers of cardiomyocytes, which are physiologically less relevant environment compared to EHT. Here, we developed a hybrid bioprinted tissue platform, consisting of six bipillar-grafted strain gauges (BPSGs) and one wireless device, that enables online monitoring of the contractile forces from 6 different EHTs in real time during culturing. Furthermore, we confirmed that our system can detect the effects of commercially available drugs on EHTs.

The accelerated testing technique using the equivalent load condition plays an important part in the automotive industry. However, the theoretical background and advantages of this technique have been on the rise recently. The environmental durability condition forms the foundation of the accelerated testing technique, so it is important to analyze the loading components and damage in service environment. We developed the GUI program for the determination of the accelerated testing condition under the multi-axial loading, and introduce the theoretical background and process for application of the program.

The vibration of Powertrain are one of the import design characteristics of a vehicle. Powertrain is mostly mounted to the front subframe and powertrain mounting has an important role in determining the vehicle vibration characteristics. In this paper, the accuracy of the vibration analysis for the front subframe is discussed. The dynamic characteristic of subframe are measured from vehicle test and the finite element model updating are performed that natural frequency, mass and MAC of the experimental and theoretical modal analysis are compared. The subframe mounting stiffness are obtained the iteration method based on the vibration of subframe from vehicle test. Finally, the result of dynamic analysis which is operated dynamic load is compared with experimental one of vehicle test.

식용찰옥수수의 적정 저장온도를 구명하기 위하여 당함량 및 수분함량 변화를 국내에서 및 육성한 찰옥 1, 2호 및 대학찰에 대해 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 공시된 찰옥수수 교잡종의 식물학적특성은 대학찰에 비해 찰옥 1호, 2호에서 개화기가 약간 빨랐고, 이삭 길이는 찰옥 1. 2호가 짧고, 이삭 직경이 굵은 반면에 대학찰은 간장 및 이삭길이에서 다소 컷으나 이삭직경과 이삭 열수에서 낮게 나타났다. 공시된 교잡종 찰옥수수의 수확시 당도는 대학찰이 크게 높았으며, 찰옥 2호, 얼룩찰순으로 높게 나타났는데 상대적 으로 저장기간이 길수록 저장온도에 거의 무관하게 급 감소하는 경향인 반면에 수분함량의변화는 크게 변화되지 않았다. 이들 교잡종의신선도 및 고품질을 유지하기 위해서는 -4℃~ -10℃에서 저장하는 것이 유리하였다. In order to find a proper storage temperature and times for vegetable waxy corn, several waxy hibrids used in the study. Among waxy hybrids, stem height and ear length of Daehakchal and Eulrukchal hybrids were higher than Chalok#l and #2 used as a check, but flowering days were later about 7 days than check. Sugar content of Daehakchal was not almost changed at -4 ℃ and below, whereas it was rapidly decreased at 4℃. Most hybrids with high sugar content were fast converted into starch than lower content hybrid. While moisture contents of waxy hybrids used were almost constant regardless of storage temperature in vegetable corn packaged with poly ethylene vinyl. From these results, storage temperature of vegetable waxy corn was recommended at least -4℃ below. Under the -10 ℃ and below, storage period of vegetable waxy corn could prolong 60 days and above because sugar and moisture content of vegetable corn measured at -10 ℃ and -20 ℃ were almost no changed compared with those of fresh corn measured at harvest.
