In 1960's, torsional effect of reinforced concrete members would not be considered because the effect of torsion is less than that of bending or shear in structural design. But, in recent, the strength of steel and concrete is getting higher with the development of new materials for reinforced concrete building. Therefore the cross section of a member becomes smaller and the span length of girder becomes more longer. Because of these trends, it will be considered the effect of torsion in structural design of spandrel girder, which crossed floor beam. In this dissertion, experimental research was carried out to investigate and evaluate the behavior of reinforced concrete beam under bending and torsion simultaneouly.
확산 텐서 영상과 뇌척수액을 이용한 파킨슨병의 조기 진단 모델 개발

파킨슨병은 도파민계 신경이 파괴되는 질병으로 알츠하이머병과 함께 대표적인 퇴행성 뇌 질환으로 병의 진행을 완화시킬 수 있는 치료법이 존재하기 때문에 병의 진단이 굉장히 중요하다. 파킨슨병을 진단하기 위한 과거의 연구는 대부분 단일 생체지표를 이용하는 것이었지만 이러한 방법에는 한계성이 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 생화학적 생체지표인 뇌척수액 내의 a-synuclein 단백질 수치와 영상학적 생체지표인 확산 텐서 영상의 여러 모수들을 결합한 융합 생체지표를 특징으로 사용하는 파킨슨병 진단 모델을 개발하고 성능을 평가하였다. 10-fold cross validation 에서 모든 성능 지표에 대해 최고 100%를 보였으며, cross validation 의과적합을 감안하더라도 파킨슨병의 조기진단에 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

Like Alzheimer`s disease, Parkinson`s Disease(PD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative brain disorders. PD results from the deterioration of dopaminergic neurons in the brain region called the substantia nigra. Currently there is no cure for PD, but diagnosing in its early stage is important to provide treatments for relieving the symptoms and maintaining quality of life. Unlike many diagnosis methods of PD which use a single biomarker, we developed a diagnosis method that uses both biochemical biomarkers and imaging biomarkers. Our method uses α-synuclein protein levels in the cerebrospinal fluid and diffusion tensor images(DTI). It achieved an accuracy over 91.3% in the 10-fold cross validation, and the best accuracy of 72% in an independent testing, which suggests a possibility for early detection of PD. We also analyzed the characteristics of the brain fiber pathways of Parkinson`s disease patients and normal elderly people.

참나무에 기생하는 한국산 겨우살이(Mistltoe, Viscum album)를 채취하여 생즙, 알콜, 가열추출하여 시료를 조제한 후 S. typhimurium TA98과 TA100 균주를 이용한 Ames test, B. subtilis H17(rec+)과 M45(rec-)를 이용한 spore rec-assay, E. coli PQ37/plasmid pKM101을 이용한 SOS chromotest를 행하여 항돌연변이성을 시험하였다. TA98를 사용한 Ames test의 항돌연변이원성에서 Trp-P-1에 대하여 200μl/plate 첨가시 생즙 95%, 가열 추출물 90%, 알콜 추출물 80%의 억제활성을 나타내었으며 2-AF에 대하여서는 300μl/plate 첨가시 생즙 85%, 가열 추출물 70%, 알콜 추출물 94%의 억제활성을 나타내었다. Spore rec-assay이용한 항돌연변이원성에서는 세가지의 각 추출물들을 10~40μl 첨가시 MMC(18㎜)와 MNNG(24㎜)에 대한 생육저지대를 5~11㎜ 감소시켜 주는 결과를 보였다. 한편 SOS chromotest에서는 B(α)P와 Trp-P-1에 대해 시료 모두 IF값을 감소시켰으며, B(α)P에 있어서 가열 추출물 40μl 첨가시 최대 96%, Trp-P-1에 대해서는 알콜 추출물이 70%까지 억제활성을 나타내었다. This study was carried out to investigate mutagenecity and antimutagenic effects from crude extract, heating extract and alcohol extract of Korean mistletoe (Viscum album L.) on the bacterial short-term tests, such as Ames test, spore rec-assay, SOS spot test and SOS chromotest by using several kinds of mutagens. In the Ames test, each extract did not show any mutagenesis, but each extract showed inhibitory effects of 80~95% and 70~94% against mutagenesis induced by 3-amino-1,4-dimethyl-5H-pyrido[4,3-b]indole(Trp-P-l) and 2-aminofluorene(2-AF) in Salmonella typhimurium TA98, respectively. In the spore rec-assay, mistletoe extracts showed antimutagenic effects with inhibition zone in the range of 5~11㎜ against mutagenicity induced by mitomycin C(MMC, 18㎜) and N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(MNNG, 24㎜), respectively. The heating and alcohol extracts in the SOS chromotest showed 96% and 70% inhibition against benzo-α-pyrene[B(α)P] and Trp-P-l induced mutagenesis, respectively.

The effectiveness of Cefoperazone in the treatment of urinary tract infection was evaluated in the Department of Urology, St. Mary's hospital from December 1. 1979 to April 30. 1980. In this studies, the cusative organisms were divided into 2 groups; 1) Single form. E. coli (8), Staphylococcus aureus(7), Proteus vulgaris (4), P. morganii(3), S. epidermis (1), Enterococcus(1), Klebsiella (2), N. gonococcus(1). 2) Mixed from: Proteus+E. coli(4), E. coli+other(1), Pseudomonas+Enterococcus(1), Klebsiella+other(1). Effectiveness on urological diseases. 1) Neurogenic bladder: Results were excellent in 3 cases, good in 4 cases and negative effect in 4 cases. 2) Non-gonococcal urethritis: In this group, the therapeutic results were favorable in 88.9% of all cases. (Excellent in 2, Fail in1) 3) Pyelonephritis: All(4 cases) were excellent. 4) Renal stone: Among the 4 cases of renal stone, only one case was responded to cefoperazone. 5) Two cases of urethral stricture, two cases of cystitis, one case of B.P.H. and one case of gonococcal urethritis were all excellent. No serious side effects were observed except slight dizziness in one case.
