This study is made on the basis of the results derived from the investigation of the student's ability in tennis playing with STROKE used back-board and GROUND STROKE at the court. Seven hundred and fifty-seven girl-students in freshman course of Sang Myong Teacher's College had took part in the investigation from June to July, and from October to November, 1981.

We studied the influence of nanocrystalline silicon (nc-Si) thin film thickness on top gate nc-Si thin film transistor (TFT) fabricated at 180 oC. The nc-Si thickness affects the characteristics of nc-Si TFT due to the nc-Si growth similar to a columnar. As the thickness of nc-Si increases from 40 nm to 200 nm, the grain size was increased from 20 nm to 40 nm. Having a large grain size, the thick nc-Si TFT surpasses the thin nc-Si TFT in terms of electrical characteristics such as field effect mobility. The channel resistance was decreased due to growth of the grain. We obtained the experimental results that the field effect mobility of the fabricated devices of which nc-Si thickness is 60, 90 and 130 nm are 26, 77 and 119 ㎠/Vsec, respectively. The leakage current, however, is increased from 7.2×10-10 to 1.9×10-8 A at VGS=-4.4 V when the nc-Si thickness increases. It is originated from the decrease of the channel resistance.
실외에서 신발의 영향에 따른 노인보행 변화 분석을 위한 기초연구

일반적으로 보행실험은 실험실과 같은 실내에서 주로 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 실내에서의 공간적 제약은 신발의 재질과 형태가 유사한 경우의 보행변화에 있어서 적은 걸음 수에 의해 분석에 어려움을 나타낼 수 있다. 따라서 실외에서의 아무런 외적 요인 없이 장시간 보행데이터를 측정하여 보행변화의 변인을 찾고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실외에서 사용 가능한 3 축 가속도계 센서를 부착한 무선통신모듈을 이용하였다. 센서모듈을 발등에 부착하여 얻은 데이터는 보행이벤트검출 알고리즘을 사용하여 발뒷꿈치 지면접촉시기 (Heel-strike, HS)와 발이 지면에서 떨어지는 시기를(Toe-off, TO) 구하는데 이용하였다. 그 결과 보행이벤트 검출율은 99%가 넘게 나왔으며 동작분석시스템과 센서모듈신호에서의 보행이벤트 시점을 찾는 정확성을 살펴 본 결과 최대 40ms 의 차이를 보였다. 이러한 보행 모니터링을 통하여 여러 변인들을 관찰할 수 있다면 신발에 따른 보행패턴분석과 더 나아가 헬스케어 모니터링에 큰 도움이 될 수 있다고 사료된다.
New species of Halichondria (Suberitida: Halichondriidae) from Korea

In this study, a new species of the genus Halichondria Fleming, 1828: Halichondria dokdoensis sp. nov. from Korea, was newly described. Morphologically distinct from each other, the new species wasassigned to the genus Halichondria. Halichondria dokdoensis sp. nov. has encrusting with a chimney shapeand volcano shape, reddish-purple color, and a large extensive subchoanosomal space present.

We successfully designed and experimentally demonstrated anapplication of patterned MgF2 dielectric material at rear Al-dopedZnO (AZO)/Ag interface in thin film amorphous silicon oxide (a-SiOx:H) solar cells. When it was realized in practical deviceprocess, MgF2 coverage with patterned morphology was employedto allow for current flow between the AZO and Ag against highlyresistive MgF2 material. On the basis of the suggested structure, wefound an improvement in quantum efficiency of the solar cells withthe patterned MgF2. In addition, an enhancement of open circuitvoltage (Voc) and fill factor (FF) was observed. A remarkableincrease in shunt resistance of the cells with the MgF2 wouldpossibly indicate that the highly resistive MgF2 layer can partlysuppress physical shunting across top and bottom electrodes causedby very thin absorber thickness of only 100 nm. The approachshowed that our best-performing device revealed an essentialimprovement in conversion efficiency from 7.83 to 8.01% withachieving markedly high Voc (1.013 V) and FF (0.729).
Development of Wide Band Gap P-a-SiOxCy:H Using Additional Trimethylboron as Carbon Source Gas

We report p-type a-SiOxCy:H thin films which were fabricated byintroducing additional Trimethylboron (TMB, B(CH3)3) dopinggas into conventional standard p-type a-SiOx:H films. The TMBaddition into the condition of p-a-SiOx:H improved opticalbandgap from 2.14 to 2.20 eV without deterioration of electricalconductivity, which is promising for p-type window layer of thinfilm solar cells. The suggested p-a-SiOxCy:H films were appliedin amorphous silicon solar cells and we found an increase ofquantum efficiency at short wavelength regions due to widebandgap of the new p-layer, and thus efficiency improvementfrom 10.4 to 10.7% was demonstrated in a-Si:H solar cell byemploying the p-a-SiOxCy:H film. In case of a-SiOx:H cell, highopen circuit voltage of 1.01 V was confirmed by using thesuggested the p-a-SiOxCy:H film as a window layer. This new playercan be highly promising as a wide bandgap window layer toimprove the performance of thin film silicon solar cells.

Objectives : To investigate aggravating and mitigating factors of atopic dermatitis and to utilize the outcome in treatment planning. Methods : The research has a cross-sectional study design. Patients’ SCORing Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD) Index, demographic, physical characteristics, social history, serologic index and skin related instrumental measurements were analyzed with correlation and regression analysis method. Results : 48 patients in total were enrolled in the study. Skin Surface Hydration (SSH) and sex were found to be statistically significant aggravating and mitigating factors. As SSH increased, Total SCORAD (tSCORAD) and Objective SCORAD (oSCORAD) increased as well. As SSH decreased, tSCORAD and oSCORAD decreased as well. Female patient had a higher probability of suffering from severer subjective symptoms than that of male. Age, body mass index (BMI), alcohol consumption and smoking, transepidermal water loss (TEWL), IgE, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IFN-γ were found not to be statistically significant. There was no correlation between Subjective SCORAD (sSCORAD) and oSCORAD neither with Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI). Conclusions : Increasing cutaneous moisture should be included in the treatment plan of atopic dermatitis. More emphasis should be put on alleviating subjective discomforts of female patients than that of male. Establishing separate strategies of managing objective eczema status and subjective discomforts respectively should be considered.

Objectives : To investigate treatment approaches of psoriasis, and to provide universal and holistic standards to assist in optimizing patient care and future research. Methods : Review articles of psoriasis regarding pathophysiology, risk factor or treatment were searched from Pubmed (January 2016 to June 2020). Treatment approaches were investigated based on the searched articles. Additional data collecting was done for further discussion by searching Pubmed and Google scholar with keywords relevant to the approaches, and the relevant references of articles retrieved were manually inspected to be included. Results : Modalities to directly regulate the relevant helper T cell or inflammatory cytokines can constitute the treatment approaches of psoriasis. Modalities to treat gastrointestinal tract inflammation, to correct metabolic syndrome and to improve epidermal lipid abnormality via whole body lipid metabolism can also constitute the treatment approaches of psoriasis. Probable adverse effects of long term use of western medication should be addressed carefully, and alleviating the hazards of western medication can be a treatment approach of psoriasis. Conclusion : Treatment of psoriasis should take account of systemic aspects such as gastrointestinal tract and lipid metabolism. Treatment approaches of psoriasis established on the pathophysiological basis can serve as universal standards.
