An ELISA test using suckling rat brain Hantaan virus antigen was developed and its clinical efficacy for the diagnosis of HFRS was compared wlth indirect IF antibody technique. The results were as follows : 1. Higher titer of Hantaan virus antigen was obtained from suckling rat brains than vero E6 cell culture of Baculovirus expressed Hantaan virus nucleocapsidprotein. 2. Antigens for ELISA test made from Hantaan or Seoul viruses cross reacted with sera from HFRS and could not differentiate serologic type of hantavirus infection. 3. During the early stage of HFRS high titer of IgM antibody was detected by ELISA while IgG antibody of high titer was demonstrated by indirect IF antibody technique. The titer of IgM antibody detected by ELISA was about 100 times higher than that by IF. IgG antibody by ELISA increased progressively by 1-2 months and remained in high titer until 5 months after onset of illness. 4. During the course of HFRS, IF technique detected IgM antibody for 2 months and IgG antibody of high titier until 5 months after onset. Althouh IgM and IgG antibody demonstrated by ELISA reached a peak at 1-2 weeks and at 1-2 months respectively, and both antibodies remained in high titer until 5 months after onset. The couclusion is that large amount of antigen for ELISA can be made easily from suckling rat brains and demonstration of IgM antibody against Hantaan virus by ELISA is diagnostic of HFRS.

In this paper, we propose the architecture of wireless ATM network for integrated wired/wireless services. In order to support those services, future mobile network will be based on the ATM infrastructure. We first consider several design issues such as some requirements for air interface, overall network conceptual model, and interworking schemes with Wireless ATM(WATM) network. Second, we describe an architecture of public WATM network and IP handling schemes. We also describe the procedures that could be applied to internet access providing common services regardless of accessing places. These architectures will provide WATM users with seamless communications with same IP address in public network as well as in private LAN.
다중 문턱전압 CMOS를 이용한 저 전력 캐리 예측 가산기 설계

This paper proposes a low-power carry look-ahead adder using multi-threshold voltage CMOS. The designed adder is compared with conventional CMOS adder. The propagation delay time is reduced by using low-threshold voltage transistor in the critical path. Also, the power consumption is reduced by using high-threshold voltage transistor in the shortest path. Comparing with the conventional CMOS circuit, the proposed circuit is achieved to reduce the power consumption by 14.71% and the power-delay-product by 16.11%. This circuit is designed with Samsung 0.35㎛ CMOS process. The validity and effectiveness are verified through the HSPICE simulation.

In this paper, we consider the architecture of integrated wired/wireless network architecture deployment on the basis of intelligent network. The most important facts in evolving to integrated wired/wireless network are to introduce B-ISDN as a core network, and to integrate service functions and control functions into an advanced intelligent network. We first consider the structure of broadband integrated wired/wireless network. The functional structure for wireless ATM and the evolution trends of wired/wireless system are discussed. Second, the evolution strategy of broadband integrated wired/wireless network and its structure are presented. Finally, the required technologies for broadband integrated wired/wireless services are classified and discussed.

Recently as the population of Internet user increases rapidly, Internet traffic also goes on rapid growing. To accommodate the traffic, Optical Internet network emerged as the proper solution. As Optical Internet Network uses WDM links, the routing and signaling protocols used in Internet must be modified to fit the properties of WDM links and to support traffic engineering function. This paper suggests the network architecture that can support autoconfiguration of Optical Internet Network Node in Centralized Control Structure.
3차원 수리지질모델링에 의한 갱내채광 광산의 출수량 예측

갱내채광 광산의 3차원 수리지질모델을 구축하기 위하여 균열암반의 공학적 특성과 출수현황을 조사하였 다. 문헌자료와 불연속면 조사를 수행하여 암반의 수리지질학적 특성을 파악하고, 해당 지역의 강우조건 및 지하수위 자료를 활용하여 초기 예측모델을 설정하였다. 예측모델은 광산 지역의 지하수위 및 경계조건 설정에 적용하였고, 예 측된 출수량을 실제 출수량과 장기간 비교하여 최종적인 3차원 수리지질모델을 구축하였다. 또한, 구축된 3차원 수리 지질모델로부터 향후 갱도 굴진에 따른 갱내 출수량의 변화를 추정하였다. 이로부터 예측된 갱내 출수량은 배수 시스 템 설계에 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다. Properties of fractured rock mass and groundwater inflow were investigated to construct a three-dimensional hydrogeologic model for an underground limestone mine. Hydrogeologic properties of rock mass were estimated from the literature review and field observation of rock discontinuities. An initial groundwater model was constructed from the records of the rainfall and groundwater level of the study area. This initial model was adopted to determine the groundwater level and hydrogeologic boundary conditions. The groundwater inflow into the mine drifts was periodically recorded for months, and was compared with the estimated values by the model. Also, the possible changes in the groundwater inflow induced by the further excavation were estimated using the constructed model. The results showed that the groundwater inflow data estimated by the three-dimensional hydrogeologic model helps the design and optimization of a mine pumping system.
