벤추리를 이용한 액-기콘텍타에 관한 연구

Gas absorption by water in a Venturi gas-liquid through the Venturi gas-liquid contactor was studied. The contactor produces a fine dispersion of gas bubbles in liquid by pumping the liquid through the Venturi and introducing the gas at the throat. The Venturi used was Hersehel meter type with 7/8-inch i.d. inlet and exit fubes a 7/16-inch i.d. throat, and a included angle of 21。 in the entrance cone and of 5。in a diffuser cone, A carbon dioxide water system was chosen for study. The water flow rates ranged from5.0 to 20.0 gallons per minute with introduction of 0 to 10,3000 cc. per minute (0.364 cu. foot) of carbon dioxide saturated with water vapor. Redial and axial concentration profiles in the liquid phase were determined, as were axial pressure profiles in the Venturi Effects of gas and presented graphically. Water flow rate through the Venturi was found to be the most significant factor affection absorption.

In this study I intend to point out some articles of National Assembly Members Election Act that infringe the constitutional principle of equal representation and to propose amendment of them. A most important purpose of National Assembly Members Election Act is to establish equal and fair representation and reflect voters will. Unless the electoral system is not designed in such a manner as to permit the fair and accurate reflection of voters will, the concept of the people as the sovereign power holder remains a sterile hypothesis. Equality of voting means basically formal and absolute equality. Voters must not be discriminated on account of their abilities of political judgement and political behavior as well as sex, wealth, race, etc. no voter shall exercise a greater voting power than other voters. Equality of voting may abridged only for legitimate and inevitable, rational state policy. But there are some articles in National Assembly Members Election Act which violate the constitutional principle of equal representation. Firstly, the principle of equal representation requires that Congress make honest and good efforts to construct districts as nearly of equal population as it practicable. Deviations from the equal population standard are permissible only when they are based upon legitimate, rational consideration and remain tithing insignificant limits. Article 14 of National Assembly Members Election Act prescribes that districting should be based upon population, administrative territory, geographical features, and traffic, etc. but the scheme of districting in the Act is too far deviated from the standard of equal population. It resulted in a maximum population-variance ratio of 4.6:1 in 13th General Election. Secondly, the electoral system of nationwide constituency is similar to the proportional representation system, but the seats are distributed among parties arbitrarily. A) The seats are distributed according not to polling score but to numbers of seats of parties obtained in the local constituencies election. B) The parties which didnt obtain more than 5 seats in the local constituencies election cannot get any seat regardless of their polling score. C) The party which won the largest number of seats among parties obtains 1/2 of seats of the nationwide constituency when it got less than 1/2 of the seats of local constituencies. These factors violate equality of voting. To comply with constitutional principle of equal representation, the Law should be changed as follow: A) District scheme of the Law should be changed so as to establish districts substantially equal in population. B) Seats of nationwide constituency should be distributed among parties on the basis of polling score. And the so called splinter parties may be eliminated from participation in distribution of the seats, but they should be defined by their polling score, not by their member of seats in local constituencies. Under present electoral system, it is desirable that bonus system be repealed.

1P-43 Preparation of Poly (Phenylene Sulfide) / Polyamide grafted Graphene Oxide (Nylon-GO) Nanocomposite Materials for Engineering Plastics

Poly (phenylene sulfide) (PPS), commonly used as a high-performance thermoplastic, and nanofillers such as polyamide grafted graphene oxide (Nylon-GO) composite materials were successfully prepared for engineering plastic application. GO was prepared by Hummers’ method and Nylon was grafted to the as-prepared GO by using ε-caprolactam. Nylon-GO was analyzed with Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The PPS / Nylon-GO composite materials showed improved mechanical properties and thermal stability when 0.03 wt% of Nylon-GO was added into polymer matrix.

현행 헌법상 헌법재판제도의 구조상의 문제와 그 개선에 관한 일 고찰

There are some problems as to the struchture of Verfassungsgerichtbarkeit in the Korean Constirurion. We have two supreme counts for Verfassungsgerichtsbarkeit, that are the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court. The Constitutional Court exercise jurisdiction over the matters that are listed in the Article 107(2). So there can be contradictions between the interpretation of the Consutitution of the Constitutional Court and that of the Supreme Count. But there are no remedy about that, And there can be contradictions between the jurisdictions of two Counts. So I`d like to propose to repeal the Article 107(2) and amend that the Constitutional Count be the only supreme count as to Verfassungsgerichtbarkeit

부신당류피질호르몬제의 지속적 전신투여가 백서 구강점막에서의 화학적 발암현상에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of prolonged systemic administration of an adrenal glucocorticoid on the chemical carcinogenesis on oral mucosa of rats through histopathologic observation. 50 male Sprague Dawley rats were employed in this study, divided into one control and two experimental groups. 10 animals in control received no treatment. 20 animals in experimental groups had the mucosa of lips, cheeks, palate, tongue and mouth floor painted 3 times weekly with a 0.5% 9,10-dimethyl-1,2-benzanthracene(DMBA) in mineral oil. And other 20 animals in experimental groups had mucosa painted 3 times weekly with a 0.5% DMBA in mineral oil and also were injected intramuscularly into femoral muscle 3 times weekly with 0.064㎎/㎏ of hydrocortisone sodium succinate. Each 2 animals in control and each 4 animals in two experimental groups were sacrificed in 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks after experiments. The mucosa of animals in control and experimental groups was removed and routinely processed for light microscopic examination. The obtained results were as follows : 1. In general experimental animals painted with a 0.5% DMBA showed epithelial dysplasia in 10 weeks and carcinoma in 12 weeks after experiments. 2. In general experimental animals painted with a 0.5% DMBA and injected intramuscularly into femoral muscles with hydrocortisone sodium succinate showed infiltrative epithelial dysplasia in 8 weeks and carcinoma in 10 weeks after experiments. 3. Under above results the prolonged systemic administration of an adrenal glucocorticoid was thought to enhance the chemical carcinogenesis on oral mucosa of rats.

Evaluation of the Reliability of Tropical Cyclone Data Using ENSO

The understanding and prediction of tropical cyclones (TCs) in a changing climate have been active research topics. Over the past few decades, studies have found important relationships between TC activity and climate variability. However, the temporal heterogeneity of TC best track data due to changes in observational and analytical technology makes long-term analysis of the relationship difficult. In particular, it was difficult to quantify when TC data were reliable, which led to the use of different start years for the analysis and eventually hindered a consistent study. This study developed a new method to quantitatively evaluate the reliability of the data, specifically TC genesis frequency in the western North Pacific (WNP), using the relationship between TCs and the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO). This is based on the fact that TC genesis extends east of 140°E in the WNP during El Niño but is limited to within the west of 140°E during La Niña. Using the relationship, this study proposes that the period with the most reliable TC data began in 1985. The analysis revealed that the unreliability during earlier periods was related primarily to the technical difficulties in detecting and classifying weak TCs, such as tropical depressions and tropical storms. These results will reduce the uncertainty in the TC data and will facilitate the detection of a more solid relationship between TCs and climate variability in future studies.
