        초등영재의 성공지능에 기반 한 STEAM 프로그램의 개발 및 적용

        The purpose of this study is to develop a STEAM program for gifted students and to verify the effect of it. A total of 160 students, who are 120 gifted students and 40 average students participated in the research. For the experimental group, 60 gifted students and 20 average students were given the STEAM program and the other students served as the control group. In this study, the STEAM program based on the theory of successful intelligence was applied to the students in the experimental group for 24 sessions. To verify the effect of the STEAM program based on successful intelligence between the experimental group and control group, the Korean version of Aurora test based on successful intelligence was conducted. As a result, the STEAM program based on the theory of successful intelligence was shown to be more effective than the general gifted education program in increasing successful intelligence. There was a significant difference(t=-.2.78, p<.05). Implications are discussed. 본 연구의 목적은 영재학생을 위한 성공지능 기반의 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구에 참여한 학생은 성남시 초등학교 영재학급에 재학중인 5학년 40명과 6학년 20명 총 60명이고, 일반 영재 프로그램을 투입한 통제집단은 같은 지역의 영재학급 5학년 40명과 6학년 20명 총 60명에게 투입하여 성공지능의 하위 영역인 분석적, 창의적, 실천적 지능의 효과성을 검증하였다. 본 연구에서는 실험집단 학생들에게는 성공지능에 기반 한 STEAM 프로그램을 3가지 주제로 총 24차시를 투입하였으며 프로그램을 실시한 후 통제집단과 비교집단 학생의 성공지능 차이를 알아보기 위하여 성공지능에 기반 한 한국형 Aurora 검사지를 활용하여 검사를 실시하였다. 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 성공지능에 기반한 STEAM 프로그램은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이(t=-.2.78, p<.05)가 있는 것으로 나타나 성공지능에 기반을 둔 STEAM 프로그램이 일반 영재 프로그램보다 성공지능을 증진시키는 데 효과가 있음이 입증되었다.

        Environmental factors and phytological aspects of Samchunimpoundment in Kyongsan, Kyongpook were studied. 40 quadrats in 4 sites had 94% herbaceous cover, 31% shrub cover and 18% tree cover. Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior, Metaplexis japonica, Erigeron annuus, Humulus Japonicus, Eragrostis ferruginea, Artemisia princeps var. orientalis were dominant herbaceous species and found cultivated plants of Hordeumn vulgare var. hexastichon, Prunus persica, Morus alba and neophytes of Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior, Erigeron canadensis, Erigeron annuus, Ailanthus altissima, Bidens bipinnata, Lactuca indica var. laciniata, Robinia pseudo-acacia, oenothera odorata, Euphobia maculata. The investigated sites were divided into 4 patterns based on the vegetation with high difference level and Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior, Medicago sativa, Setaria viridis, Metaplexis japonica, Humulus japonicus, Calystegia japonica, Forsythia koreana, Lsctuca indica var. laciniata were different species group. More than 90% on the surface area of water mass covered with Nelumbo nucifera, Marsilea quadrifolia and Typha angustata and distributed Hydrilla verticillata, Ceratophyllum demersum, Trypa pseudo-incisa, Myriophyllum spicatum under water. Average data of environmental factor analysis are as followings; air temperature 25.8℃, ph 6.77, total hardness 117.94㎎/ℓ, SS 4.5㎎/ℓ,Do 3.3㎎/ℓ,BOD 6.6㎎/ℓ,COD 7.2㎎/ℓ,cl- 17.56㎎/ℓ,?? 7.14㎎/ℓ,Mn 0.05㎎/ℓ, Zn 0.04㎎/ℓ. Total quality of impoundment water were heavily polluted and were quality class Ⅳ.

        양송이 수확 후 배지로 부터 분리한 옥신생산 세균의 생육특성

        충남 부여군 석성면 양송이 재배 농가에서 채취한 양송이 수확 후 배지로부터 auxin생성능이 뛰어난 세균 2SJ8-02 균주를 분리하여 TLC 및 HPLC 분석을 통해 확인한 결과, IAA 생산농도는 122 mg L<sup>-1</sup>이었으며 LC-Mass분석에 의하여 생성된 물질은 분자량이 175인 IAA로 확인되었다. 분리균에 의한 IAA 생산을 위한 최적조건을 실험한 결과, 0.1% L-tryptophan를 함유한 pH 7.0의 R2A broth배지에 35℃, 24시간 배양 시 최대 이었다. 녹두발근 생검법과 pot 재배를 통한 식물생육효과 실험에서 분리균 배양액의 첨가는 대조구에 비해 발근수와 뿌리길이에서 약 2배의 뿌리신장효과를 보였다. 생리적 특성 및 계통학적 특성분석을 통해 분리균은 Gram 음성 간균인 Pantoea rwandensis 2SJ8-02로 동정되었다. An auxin-producing bacteria (2SJ8-02) was isolated from waste mushroom bed of Agaricus bisporus in Buyeo-Gun, Chungnam. The strain 2SJ8-02 was classified as a novel strain of Pantoea rwandensis based on a chemotaxanomic and phylogeneticanalyses. The isolate was confirmed to produce indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), one of auxin hormones, by TLC and HPLC analyses. The maximum concentration of IAA, 122 mg L<sup>-1</sup> was detected from the culture in R2A broth containing 0.1% tryptophan for 24 h at 35℃. The molecular weight of the main peak obtained by LC-mass analysis was 175 corresponding to that of IAA. To investigate the growth-promoting effects to the crops, the culture broth of Pantoea rwandensis 2SJ8-02 was infected to water cultures and seed pots of mung bean. In consequence, the adventitious root induction and root growth of mung bean were two times higher than those of the control.

        응급센터 과밀화가 환자 예후에 미치는 효과

        P u r p o s e: This study was designed to evaluate the effect of emergency department (ED) overcrowding on the outcome of patient care. Methods: A retrospective review of medical records was obtained from Order Communicating System in the adult ED at a tertiary care teaching hospital from September 1, 2001 to November 30, 2001. For the overcrowding index, the length of stay in the ED and the time from registration to order were calculated. The outcome was defined as the result of care done in the ED or during hospitalization. The overcrowding effect on the outcome was tested by using a multivariate logistic regression analysis. Compared with the survival group, the odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) of the death group was calculated with adjustments for gender, age, arrival time in the ED, arrival day of the week, clinical department, operation, hospitalization in the intensive care unit, and injury or disease. R e s u l t s: The number of total cases was 5,852. Of these, 3,046 was males and 2,806 females. Of these, the number of mortality cases in the ED was 106. A total of 2,025 patients were hospitalized. Of all the hospitalization cases, 161 died on the ward in spite of management. The length of stay in the ED, and adjusted OR were significantly increased in the total death cases and in the death cases on the ward compared to those of the survival cases. For time, from registration to order above 10 minute, compared to those below 10 minute, the adjusted OR for death in the ED was significantly increased. C o n c l u s i o n: The overcrowding indices, such as the length of stay or the time from registration to order, were related with the outcome, that is, total death and death in the ED or on the ward.

        생강(生薑)의 Peroxynitrite 제거 기전

        Objectives : Peroxynitrite($ONOO^-$), formed from the reaction of $O2^-$ and NO, is a cytotoxic species that can oxidize several cellular components such as proteins, lipids and DNA. It has been involved in the aging process and age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer and atherosclerosis. The aim of this study was to investigate scavenging activities of $ONOO^-$ and its precursors, NO and $O_{2^-}$ and its scavenging mechanism of Zingiberis Rhizoma (ZR). Methods : To investigate scavenging activities of $ONOO^-,\;NO,\;O_{2^-}$ and its scavenging mechanism, we used fluorescent probes like DCFDA, DAF-2 and DHR 123. The $ONOO^-$ scavenging activity on ZR was assayed by measuring oxidized dihydrorhodamine 123 (DHR 123) by fluorometry. The scavenging efficacy was expressed as IC50, showing the concentration of each sample that is required to cause 50% inhibition of DHR 123 oxidation. In a separate study, the protective effect of ZR on $ONOO^-$-induced nitration of bovine serum albumin was investigated through immuno-assay with a monoclonal anti-nitryrosine antibody, and a horseradish peroxidase-conjugated anti-mouse secondary antibody from sheep. Results : ZR markedly scavenged authentic $ONOO^-,\;O_{2^-}$ and NO. It also inhibited $ONOO^-$ induced by $O_{2^-}$ and NO which are derived from SIN-1. The data demonstrated that ZR led to decreased $ONOO^-$ mediated nitration of tyrosine through electron donation. It also inhibited the nitration of bovine serum albumin induced by $ONOO^-$ in a dose-dependent manner. Furtheremore, it blocked LPS-induced ROS and RNS generation. Conclusions : These results suggest that ZR can be developed as an effective $ONOO^-$ scavenger for the prevention of aging process and age-related diseases.
