We presented a case of perifolliculitis capitis abscedens et suffodiens associated with acne conglobata in 40-year-old rnale. He had a sausage-shaped plaque containing many fistular tracts on right temnporal area and cicatrizing alopecia on occiput. On the middle portion of upper back he had a adult fist-sized plaque containing many fistular tracts. Histopathologically epidermis showed mild byperkeratosis and keratotic plugging and in the dermis most hair follicles were destroyed and replacel by fibrous tissue but there were moderxte cellular infiltration composed of neutrophils, lymphocytes a.nd hist.iocytes around the remained hair follicles. On serum electrophoresis alpha,-globulin was elevated and gamna globulin was the upper liviit of nornal variation. Skin tests with murnps vaccine, dinitrochloro benzene (DNCB) and old tuberculin disclosed the evidence of de reased c $quot;ll-mediated immunity(CMI). All th se findings suggest thzt immune rriechanisni r,-ay be concerned ivith the pathogenesis in this case. He was treated with th internal administration of antibiotic and corticosteroid and with surgical opening and curettage of fistular tracts.

지하매설물 탐지를 위한 다채널 GPR 평단면 영상 구성에 관한 연구

지하탐사레이다(GPR)을 이용한 매설물탐지는 송수신 안테나의 위치를 일정한 간격으로 이동하면서 획득한탐사데이터에서 안테나와 매설물 간의 상대적인 거리 차이에 의해 발생하는 반사 신호의 변화를 스캔 방향과깊이 방향의 단면으로 영상화한 쌍곡선을 통해 이루어진다. 그러나 이러한 쌍곡선 신호는 탐지 대상뿐만 아니라 지하에 묻혀있는 다양한 물체에 의해서도 만들어지게 되어 탐지 목표로 하는 대상의 식별을 어렵게 한다. 이러한 어려움을 극복하기 위해 일정한 채널 간격으로 정의된 다채널 GPR은 채널과 스캔 방향, 깊이 축의 3차원 데이터를 기반으로, 기존과 동일한 각 채널별 단면 영상의 쌍곡선과 함께 위에서 내려다 본 평단면영상을 구성할 수 있다. 이러한 평단면 영상은 채널과 스캔 방향을 축으로, 깊이를 달리하여 각 채널에서 수신되는 신호의 변화를 통해 탐지 대상의 크기를 유추할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지하매설물 탐지를 위해 다채널 GPR의 평단면 영상을 구성하기 위한 송수신 안테나 배열과 신호처리 절차에 대해 논하였으며, 크기를 알고 있는 물체에 대한 탐지시험을 통해 다채널 GPR 탐사데이터를 이용해 구성한 평단면 영상의 효용성을 확인하였다. The detection of buried objects using Ground Penetrating Radar utilizes hyperbolic curves visualized by the variation of reflected signals due to the relative distance difference between the antenna and the buried objects. However, these hyperbolic signals are also created by various objects buried underground, making it difficult to identify and detection target. This difficulty can be solved through a plan-view image viewed from above along with the same hyperbolic image for each channel as the existing one created based on the 3D data of multi-channel GPR. In this paper, we discussed the transmitter-receiver antenna array and signal processing procedure for constructing plan-view images using multi-channel GPR for underground object detection. And we also verified the effectiveness of the plan-view images constructed using multi-channel GPR survey data through detection tests on object with known sizes.

This paper aims to understand the ritual characteristics of Donghakgyo(東學敎), a denomination of East Learning, founded by Kim Ju Hee around 1915, through the analysis of its Prayer Manual Book(『祝式』). Forty two written prayers are included in the book, and the prayers are classified by five different ritual categories: sacrificial rites(15), wedding ceremonies(4), funeral rites(11), ancestral rites(7), and miscellaneous ceremonies(5). Most prayers are definitely directed towards Heaven-Earth-Human Parents who are anthropomorphized as supreme beings in ritual dimension. The answerers of prayer are personified deities who represent at once and supervise three cosmic elements: heaven, earth, and human. In fact, the main and large part of Donghakgyo's ritual process is reading several written prayers one by one and then burning them. It is not too much to say that the reading and burning of written prayers is the alpha and omega of the rituals. In Donghakgyo, both a ritual without written prayers and a ritual manual without a prayer manual are almost unimaginable.

초기 동학의 천제: 제천(祭天)과 기천(祈天)

In Korean religious culture, the belief and practice of a heavenly god (天神) or a heavenly way (天道) are important research topics. Korean new religions are no exception to this. This paper discovers historical materials pertaining to ritual to heaven of early Eastern Learning and tries to understand the characteristics of the rituals in an attempt to grasp heavenly rituals of Korean new religions. Firstly, this paper focuses on the examples of ‘building altars and holding heavenly rituals’ (設壇祭天) in the time of Suwoon (水雲), the founder of Eastern Learning. Depending on the writer’s perspective, the ritual was either described as sacrifice or prayer. Generally, outside critics portrayed these rituals of Eastern Learning as a sacrificial rite that deludes the world and deceives the people. On the other hand, inner believers emphasized it was a form of devout prayer that enabled holy communion with god. Secondly, this paper pays attention to the insurgent leader Lee Pilje (李弼濟)’s ritual cases of ‘slaughtering of cows and dedicating them as an offering to heavenly god’ (殺牛祭天) in Younhae and Youngyang. He secretly carried out this ritual to god in order to legitimize his own political rebellion and inspire his followers’ will to revolt before taking violent action. With data on the ritual to heaven of early Eastern Learning, we can interpret the characteristics of their prayer and sacrifice, and recognize their effects on religious awakening and political action.

. This paper deals with the case of female living Buddhas (Saengbul 生佛, messianic Maitreya) in Hwanghae-do province in 1758. I will review this historical case, and reevaluate the relationship between Maitreya and Shamanism through detailed analyses of historical records related to the event. Firstly, this article investigates Shamans who gave up their own religious roles in order to follow female living Buddhas. Shamans, who usually provided religious services to their followers, gave up their own religious practices and ritual specialty by discarding their Shamanic paraphernalia (swords and rattles) at once, and immediately began to believe in female living Buddhas. Secondly, this article proves that women who were revered as living Buddhas had already had Shamans’ careers in the past. Women who were not socially free in the pre-modern period became messianic women based on their religious experiences of Shamanism.

A RECURRENCE FORMULA FOR q-EULER NUMBERS OF HIGHER ORDER

In this paper, we consider Carlitz's type q-Euler numbers and polynomials of higher order and give a recurrence formula for these q-Euler numbers and polynomials of higher order. We obtain a distribution relation for the q-Euler polynomials and have some identities for the q-Euler numbers and polynomials.

In this paper, we consider the q-analogues of Euler numbers and polynomials using the fermionic p-adic invariant integral on Z_p. From these numbers and polynomials, we derive some interesting identities and properties on the q-analogues of Euler numbers and polynomials.
