The chemical treatment of silica and silane coupling agents using bistriethoxysilyl- propyltetrasulfide(Si 69) and γ-mercaptopropyltrimethoxy silane (MPS) for reinforcement of silica formulation was investigated. The effects on chemical treatment with two kinds of coupling agents and without agents were compared. The results were clearly indicated the wet method, that is, coupling agent was combined chemically with the silica prior to mixing, was much more dispersive characteristics, wetting ability, dynamic properties and chemical stability than the dry method which was premixed directly with the silica only. The mixing operation was done by a bench-type kneader which was consisted of two cams and two-roll mills. The physical properties of SBR vulcanizates gives markedly improvements by addition of Si 69 and MPS in comparison with silane coupling agents and without. The optimum amount of Si 69 and MPS were respectively 2 W/W % in the dry method, but were found 4 W/W % simultaneously by EA and TGA analysis in the wet method.

Based on the above statements, we can conclude the sanitary though and physical activities in terms of physical education as follow ; 1. Many sacrificial rites were performed for a good health, happiness and the treatment of diseases on the basis of polytheism in those days. Three Kingdoms accepted the Buddhism as their national religion, by which they wished for longevity and good health. They also realized the viewpoint of their future, their life and death by sutra-chanting and praying. 2. Such sports as achery, Tuho(a game of throwing arrow into the jar), ball-kicking, Ssirum(Korean style wrestling), shooting on horseback, animal hunting, Chucheon(a rope swing) Jeopo(the Four-Stick Game;yuch), Baduk(Korean checkers), Aksak(dice play), Jukma(stilts), kiteflying were performed in order to defend the country, extend the territory and rule the citizens as a means of military exercise. 3. Therefore, it is concluded that in those days military arts and physical activities were based on the cultivation of the harmonious human being not only intellectually, emotionally but also socially, politically, religiously and militarily, which became the basis of the modern physical education.
원통 연삭에서 가공 능률 향상을 위한 연삭 저항의 측정에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 원통 연삭 가공에서 가공 능률 향상을 위한 연삭 저항을 측정하고자 연삭 가공 중에 발생하는 연삭 저항의 추이를 확인하였고 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 숫돌과 공작물간의 연삭 강성은 공작 속도의 증가에 따라 지지계의 강성이 높은 경우 증가하였고 절삭 깊이와 연삭 숫돌의 속도에는 연삭 강성이 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 또한 총합 강성은 공작 속도, 절삭 깊이 및 연삭 숫돌의 속도 증가에 따라 지지계의 강성이 높을 수록 증가하였다. 연삭기의 강성 변형과 가공 능률에 영향을 주는 값으로 연삭 강성비는 지지계의 강성이 높을 수록 감소하였다. In this study, the measurement of grinding resistance to improve grinding efficiency in cylindrical grinding was studied and the following conclusions could be obtained. Relation grinding wheel and workpiece, grinding stiffness increases according to increase of work speed for high machine stiffness and decreases depth of cut and grinding wheel speed. Also, resultant stiffness increases high machine stiffness according to increase work speed, depth of cut and grinding wheel speed. The values of the effect stiffness deflection in grinding machine, grinding stiffness ratio decrease according to high machine stiffness.

The objectives of this research were to evaluate antioxidant activities and nutritional components, including phenolic acid, catechin, organic acid, sugar, and amino acid, of persimmon juice from persimmons grown in different regions around Korea. Persimmon (Diospyros kaki) exhibits potent antioxidant effects in DPPH, ABTS, reducing power, and FRAP methods of analysis. The levels of nutritional constituents showed significant differences among all the samples. In particular, tartaric acid, glucose, gallic acid, epicatechin gallate and aspartic acid were observed to be the predominant component for each of their general chemical groups, with total average contents of 1876.51 mg/kg, 62.69 g/kg, 12.73 mg/kg, 208.99 mg/kg, and 31.84 mg/100 g, respectively. Interestingly, persimmons from the Hadong region presented the highest sugar (130.60 g/kg), phenolic acid (42.27 mg/kg), and catechin (527.97 mg/kg) contents in comparison with other regional samples. Moreover, this location exhibited the greatest antioxidant activity with highest total phenolic (298.01 mg GAE/kg) and flavonoid (32.11 mg/kg RE) contents. Our results suggest that strong antioxidant activities of persimmons correlate with high phenolic acid and catechin contents, particularly gallic acid and epicatechin gallate. Additionally, these two compounds may be key factors when considering the useful ingredients of persimmon.
Evaluation Method of Weed Suppression by Rice Plant

Rice and weed interference in the paddy field caused by resource competition and allelopathy. Evaluation method of active weed suppressive behavior of rice to weed was developed by eliminating light competition at soil condition. Twenty eight days old rice seedlings (6-7 leaf stage) which was grown at saturated, no drainage pot were clipped above 3~~4cm from the soil surface. Weeds seeded around clipped rice stem, named ratoon seeding screening method, showed varietal suppressive difference to Echinochloa crus-galli, Echinochloa crusgalli var. praticola and Monochoria vaginalis. Potential allelopathic rice varieties, Sathi, AC1423 and PI312777 showed better suppressive activity to weed seedling growth than Nonganbyeo and Keumobyeo. Weed suppression of one plant of rice cultivars could be evaluated by the cell size of 2.5~times2.5cm at rice clipping of seedling 29 days after rice seeding.
