      • S-227 Acute myocardial infarction on RCA in young patient without atherosclerosis risk factor

        ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in young patient is very rare. Cases of STEMI in young patients with familiar hypercholesterolemia or anatomical problem such as anomalous origin of the left coronary artery or coronary aneurysm from Kawasaki disease have been reported. But there are few case of STEMI in young patient who did not have any atherosclerotic risk factor. We report a case of 17-year-old male who developed STEMI on middle right coronary artery (mRCA), who did not have risk factor of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). A 17-year old male presented to the Emergency Department (ED) with sudden onset of left chest pain which occurred 30 minutes before admission. The patient was a nonsmoker and did not abuse alcohol. He had neither diabetes mellitus nor hypertension. None of his family member had any history of acute coronary disease. Initial EKG taken at ED revealed ST elevation in II, III, aVF lead with reciprocal ST depression on precordial leads. After administration of sublingual nitroglycerin, his chest pain subsided. Initial laboratory data showed nonspecific findings including CK-MB of 0.21ng/mL and troponin-I of 0.021ng/mL. Echocardiogram showed left ventricle with ejection fraction of 55%, and slightly decreased wall motion on basal to mid inferior wall. We started treatment with loading dose of Aspirin, Ticagrelor and intravenous heparin. Coronary angiography (CAG) revealed complete occlusion of the mRCA with TIMI flow 0, and collateral flow coming from Left anterior descending artery. Flow in mRCA was restored with balloon angioplasty and thrombus aspiration. Drug eluting stent was deployed in mRCA. The patient was treated with intravenous abciximab and heparin additionally during PCI. An echocardiogram done at the 3rd hospital day showed good systolic function, with no regional wall motion abnormality. The valves were normal. His subsequent hospital course was uneventful. He made a full recovery and was discharged home at 5th hospital day. This report is one of the youngest case of STEMI in Korea. Even in young patient without risk factor of ACS who present with chest pain and ST elevation on EKG, evaluation with CAG should be done promptly to diagnose and to treat STEMI.

      • Physical and Mechanical Properties of Water Permeable Cork Paving Materials

        Cork granules are by-products after the production of various cork products, such as wine stoppers, and are considered as a valuable resource because of their good elasticity and slip resistance. In this study, the applicability of cork granules as paving materials for walkways and children's playgrounds was investigated. Cork granules with various particle sizes from 1 mm to 8 mm were obtained from Portuguese cork oak (Quercus suber). As a result of manufacturing cork paving materials with a thickness of 15 mm, their tensile strength was found to be 0.5 MPa or more. However, the tensile properties of the paving material made only with cork granules with a particle size smaller than 2 mm were less than 0.2 MPa. Furthermore, other physical properties of cork paving materials such as shock absorption, sliding resistance, and vertical deformation were all suitable for human activity. As a result of surface temperature measurement by a thermal imaging camera in summer, it was found that the cork paving material was more effective in alleviating the heat island phenomenon compare to the rubber one.

      • Selective CO production by Au coupled ZnTe/ZnO in the photoelectrochemical CO<sub>2</sub> reduction system

        <P>A gold-coupled ZnTe/ZnO-nanowire array is a new photocathode for selective CO<SUB>2</SUB> reduction to CO. At −0.7 V<SUB>RHE</SUB> under simulated 1 sun illumination, its photocurrent (−16.0 mA cm<SUP>−2</SUP>) and incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (97%) represent the highest among reported ZnTe photocathodes for CO<SUB>2</SUB> reduction and dramatic enhancement from those of a bare electrode (−7.9 mA cm<SUP>−2</SUP>, 68%). In addition, the Au nanoparticles convert mainly-hydrogen-producing bare ZnTe/ZnO-nanowires into mainly-CO-producing photocathodes in photoelectrochemical CO<SUB>2</SUB> reduction. The remarkable effects of the Au co-catalyst originate from the formation of a Schottky junction with ZnTe to improve charge separation and to provide reaction centers for CO<SUB>2</SUB> reduction suppressing competing water reduction.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Au coupled ZnTe/ZnO-NW array is a new photocathode for selective CO production from CO<SUB>2</SUB>.         The Role of Mongolia in Multilateral Security Cooperation in Twenty-First Century Northeast Asia: Relevance of the ‘Ulaanbaatar Dialogue (UBD)’ Initiative

        Factors for geopolitical conflict and power balance still exist potently in intra-regional politics in Northeast Asia. The role of a third country that could increase the possibility of creating an international regime as an institution is important. In the past, Mongolia did not receive a lot of attention in intra-regional or regional political affairs, as its military and economy were weak compared to other countries in the region. However, despite being a landlocked country surrounded by both China and Russia, Mongolia has used its geographical position strategically as a neutral state that can contribute positively to regional cooperation in Northeast Asia and proactively has proposed a constructive role and function for itself. As Mongolia aligns itself to the national interests of its regional neighbors and creates possibilities for regional cooperation, it is seeking a new role in Northeast Asia.

        공공임대주택의 원활한 사업추진을 위한 공공성 분석

        우리나라 공공임대주택은 1971년에 최초로 공급되었고, 임대주택의 체계적인 지원을 위하여 임대주택건설촉진법이 제정되면서 임대주택의 공급이 점차 확대되었으며, 현재는 사회적 배려계층을 위한 다양한 조건과 방안으로 7개 종류의 공공임대주택이 제공되고 있다. 특히 공공부문에서 임대주택사업을 추진하기 위해서는 사업 타당성을 면밀히 분석하여, 사업의 공공성(경제 및 정책)을 확보해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 비용과 편익을 산출하여 경제적 타당성을, 관련 계획 및 정책 방향과의 일치성과 지역 낙후도 등을 통하여 정책적 타당성을 분석하였다. 비용 편익비(B/C)가 1.2로 산출되어 경제적 타당성 분석에서 사업성이 있다고 판단되었다. 또한 제4차 국토종합계획, 경남 주택종합계획, 김해시 도시기본계획 등에서 지향하는 양질의 주거환경조성 계획과 일치하고, 쇠퇴도 분석에서 사업대상지가 인구 고령화 현상이 급격하게 진행되었고, 물리적 환경이 열악하여 정책적 대책 마련이 시급한 지역으로 분류되어 정책적 타당성 분석에서도 사업성이 있다고 판단되었다. 따라서 사업대상지에 공공임대주택사업에 대하여 타당성을 분석함으로써 사업 타당성에 대하여 분석하였다. The supply of public rental housing in Korea was first supplied in 1971 and gradually expanded with the enactment of the Rental Housing Construction Promotion Act for systematic support of rental housing. Currently, seven types of public rental housing are provided as various conditions and measures for the socially caring class. In order to promote rental housing projects in the public sector, the feasibility of the project should be carefully analyzed to ensure the public nature and legitimacy of the project. In this study, economic feasibility was analyzed by calculating costs and benefits, and policy feasibility was analyzed through consistency with relevant plans and policy directions and regional backwardness. The cost-benefit ratio was calculated at 1.2, which was determined to be businesslike in the economic feasibility analysis. In addition, it was found to be businesslike in the analysis of policy feasibility as it was consistent with the plan for creating a high-quality residential environment for the 4th National Territory Comprehensive Plan, Gyeongsangnam-do Housing Comprehensive Plan, and Gimhae City Basic Plan, and the aging of the population rapidly progressed in the analysis of decline, and was classified as an area in urgent need of policy measures due to poor physical environment. Therefore, the feasibility of public rental housing projects was analyzed at the target site to ensure that they had sufficient business feasibility.

        몽골과 한국의 경제교류 현황과 문제점 연구

        With the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, concerns about energy security are growing in South Korea. Korea still maintains an economic structure with a very weak energy independence, as it relies on imports for all of its crude oil and natural gas. On the other hand, Mongolia has a significant amount of natural and mineral resources. But it lacks capital and technology needed to develop these resources. This suggests that there is ample room for the two countries to maximize economic complementarity and secure national interests even in the current situation where the importance of energy security is deepening. However, since the establishment of diplomatic ties between Korea and Mongolia, growth in the qualitative aspect to maximize economic complementarity in economic exchanges between the two countries has been relatively sluggish compared to the quantitative aspects. Also, the corona pandemic situation has had a negative impact on economic exchanges between the two countries. Therefore, in this study, the fields of economic exchange are classified into four fields: trade, investment, and tourism. Through this, the study strategically discusses ways to promote economic cooperation between Korea and Mongolia in the new normal era. In addition, the economic exchanges between the two countries are comprehensively discussed by analyzing the status of exchanges by sector and suggesting problems.
