버들치(Rhynchocypris oxycephalus)의 vitellogenin 생성량 측정을 이용한 수중 estrogen휴 화합물의 정량분석법에 관한 연구

Vitellogenin(Vtg), a phospholipoglycoprotein precursor of egg yolk, is synthesized and secreted from the liver in response to estrogens in female fish. Vtg is normally undetectable in the blood of male fish, but can be induced by exposure to chemicals possessing estrogenic activity. Thus, the presence of Vtg in blood of male fish can serve as a useful biomarker for assessing previous exposure to estrogenic compounds. In the present study, Vtg was abnormally expressed in Rhynchocypris oxycephalus treatment of Estradiol Benzoate (E_(2)). As the result, it was found that the level of Vtg in blood from R. oxycephalus was increased by treated quantity of E_(2) with dose-effect manner.

This study was performed to investigate the content of a few inorganic metals and the degree of water temperature pH, DO, BOD, COD, SS, TH, Cl^(-), SO_(4)^(-), total alkali and PO_(4)^(3)-P in Singal Lake. In general they are favorable as the water to see but compared with the several terms which are measured in 1976 the pollution of the water increased by five or six times.

This study was attempted to describe the morphological characteristics of racket sports player (Tennis, Badminton, Table tennis) and to analyze the similar anthropometic variables and different anthropometic variables among tennis, badminton and table tennis players. In study 150 female and male tennis, badminton and table tennis player completed the measurement of 39 anthropometric variables. These variables analyzed by ANOVA and Overlap Zone (OZ). The results of this study was follows. 1. In male players, tennis and badminton players were similar anthropometic characteristics and tennis and table tennis players was different anthropometic characteristics. Length variables of badminton and table tennis players were relatively similar but breadth variables were different. 2. In female players, tennis and badminton players were different anthropometic characteristics and similar and different anthropometic characteristics among table tennis, tennis and badminton players was not appeared.
花粉荷(POLLEN LOAD)의 소화흡수율 및 동물성장에 미치는 영향

This study was done to determine the effects of pollen load on growth, biochemical components and digestibility of protein from pollen load in rats. Weanling male rats were divided into three groups. Pollen load was given at three levels and comprising 0, 6, 12 persent of dietary protein. Consumption of pollen load 12% protein from pollen load significantly decreased weight gain(P<0.05), protein efficiency ratio(P<0.05), food efficiency ratio(P<0.05), organ weight(P<0.05), plasma protein content(P<0.05) and apparent digestibility of protein(P<0.05). However there was no difference in the protein content in the liver among three groups. The diet containing 6% protein from pollen load was better nutritional efficiency and apparent digestibility in comparison to those of 12% protein from pollen load.
부순모래 콘크리트의 특성에 미치는 잔골재 치수와 혼합조건의 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

Recently, the suprly of natural river sand as concrete fine aggregate has been getting worse and it is necessary to recycle the construction wastes produced on the process of stone materials production in our country. Therefore, this study was aimed to find the reuse method of crushed sand as concrete fine aggregate and to estimate the quality of crushed sand concrete. In this study, to inverstigate the influence of fine aggreate size and mixing condition on the properties of crushed sand oncrete and compare with the natural river sand concreter the 2 cases of the aggreate size and the 5 cases of mixing condition are tested. The test results presented that the properties of mixed crushed sand with natural river sand concrete was better than the prorerties of natural river sand concrete.
22q11 Deletion Syndrome을 동반한 정신분열병 1예

It has been well known that 22q deletion syndrome (22qDS), encompasses several genetic syndromes associated with microdeletions at chromosome 22q11.2 became relatively generally identified in the 1990s through the availability of specialized chromosomal studies, and it includes such syndromes as velocardiofacial syndrome (VCFS), DiGeorge syndrome (DGS), Shprintzen syndrome, CATCH 22. The syndrome is characterized by distinctive dysmorphology, congenital heart disease, athymia, parathyroid disease, other congenital diseases, learning difficulties and various psychiatric illnesses. This syndrome is a common genetic condition often accompanied by mild cognitive impairment. Learning difficulties and anger outburst are also common in adolescence with this syndrome, In addition, a prevalence of major psychiatric disorders in adults' individuals are high, especially schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder and other psychiatric illnesses, including simple or social phobia, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder. We report a patient with facial dysmorphology, cleft lip and palate, ventricular septal defect, borderline IQ, poor impulse control and psychotic symptoms who was diagnosed schizophrenia and 22qDS by FISH analysis which finds 22q11.2 microdeletion.

LHR(Landfill Site Hazard Ranking Model)was developed for assessing the relative hazard of landfill sites by using the method of value-structured approach. LHR consists of combining a multiattribute decision-making method with a qualitative risk assessment approach. AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)based on the pairwise comparison method was applied to determine weights of landfill site factors related. To determine the relative hazard of landfill sites evaluated, hydrogeological factors, waste characteristics factors and recptors factors were evaluated by LHR. LHR can help decision-makers prioritization of remediation of landfill sites through the relatively convenient and concise evaluation metl10d of landfill site features related. LHR focuses mainly on pathways of groundwater and surfacewater for evaluating landfill hazard to receptors including humans. To validiate the applicability of LHR, Nanjido Landfill site, Metropolitan Landfill site, and Hwasung Landfill site were evalulated. LHR scores of the above-mentioned landfills were 55, 19, and 7 respectively.

Emanuel syndrome is a rare genomic syndrome which is characterized by multiple congenital anomalies and developmental disability. This syndrome is related to the presence of the supernumerary derivative chromosome originating from both chromosome 11 and 22. In most cases, one of the parents is a balanced carrier of a translocation. Our case results from 3:1 meiotic segregation of the maternal translocation carrier and is a rare case in Korea confirmed by genetic analysis.
