Transient receptor potential melastain 7 (TRPM7) is a bifunctional protein with dual structure of both ion channel and protein kinase, participating in a wide variety of diseases including cancer. Recent researches have reported the mechanism of TRPM7 in human cancers. However, the correlation between TRPM7 and prostate cancer (PCa) has not been well studied. The objective of this study was to investigate the potential the role of TRPM7 in the apoptosis of PC-3 cells, which is the key cell of advanced metastatic PCa. In this study, we demonstrated the influence and potential function of TRPM7 on the PC-3 cells apoptosis induced by TNF-related apoptosis inducing-ligand (TRAIL). The study also found a novel up-regulated expression of TRPM7 in PC-3 cells after treating with TRAIL. Suppression of TRPM7 by TRPM7 non-specific inhibitors ($Gd^{3+}$ or 2-aminoethoxy diphenylborate (2-APB) ) not only markedly eliminated TRPM7 expression level, but also increased the apoptosis of TRAIL-treated PC-3 cells, which may be regulated by the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/AKT) signaling pathway accompany with up-regulated expression of cleaved Caspase-3, (TRAIL-receptor 1, death receptors 4) DR4, and (TRAIL-receptor 2, death receptors 5) DR5. Taken together, our findings strongly suggested that TRPM7 was involved in the apoptosis of PC-3 cells induced by TRAIL, indicating that TRPM7 may be applied as a therapeutic target for PCa.
A Novel Dynamic Spectrum Access Algorithm for Cognitive Radio Networks

This paper proposes a new dynamic spectrum access (DSA) algorithm for cognitive radio networks. Once initialized, this algorithm works without the need of coordination overhead and hence can be used when no control channel is available. Secondary user (SU) lists and predetermined access control are used in this algorithm. We analyze the probability of no SU collision with primary user and the throughput of our proposed algorithm. Extensive simulations show that our algorithm outperforms the existing DSA algorithm in terms of both the aggregate throughput and the traffic distribution fairness. Furthermore, the validity of our analysis is confirmed by simulation results.

We have studied the switching characteristics of an optical molecular switch based on the 15,16-dinitrile dihydropyrene/cyclophanediene (DDP/CPD) molecule with two single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) electrodes using first-principles transport calculations. It is shown that the DDP shows an overall higher conductance than the CPD at low bias which is independently of the SWCNT chirality. Meantime, the conductance of the molecular switch can be tuned by the chirality of the SWCNT. Inhibition of SMP30 Gene Expression Influences the Biological Characteristics of Human Hep G2 Cells

Senescence marker protein 30 (SMP30), a hepatocellular carcinoma (HCe) associated antigen had been identified by our research group. To study its mechanisms of regulation and associations with the occurrence and development of HCe, we inhibited expression by RNAi technique, and observed effects on the biological characteristics of Hep G2 cells. In cell viability assays, cell growth in the experimental group (with siRNA transfection) was elevated. In Transwell invasion assays, compared with blank and control groups, numbers of invading cells in the experimental group were significantly increased, whereas in apoptosis assays, the percentage apoptosis demonstrated no differences, but after UV irradiation, that in the experimental group was higher than the other two groups. In a word, SMP30 can inhibit the proliferation and invasion of human hepatoma cells and thus can be regarded as a cancer suppressive factor.
Experimental study on deformation and strength property of compacted loess

A series of experimental studies are conducted on the deformation and shear strength property of compacted loess. The results reveal that the relationships of both the initial moisture content (w) and the initial degree of compaction (K) of compacted loess with cohesion (w) and the angle of internal friction (${\varphi}$) are linear. The relationship between the secant modulus ($E_{soi}$) and K is also linear. The relationship between $E_{soi}$ and w can be fitted well by a second-order polynomial. Further, when the influences of w and K are ignored, the relationship between the confined compression strain (${\varepsilon}$) and vertical pressure (p) can be expressed by a formula. A correction formula for the deformation of compacted loess caused by a change in w and K is derived on the basis of the study results.

Spatial cable systems can provide more transverse stiffness and torsional stiffness without sacrificing the vertical bearing capacity compared with conventional vertical cable systems, which is quite lucrative for long-span earth-anchored suspension bridges’ development. Higher economy highlights the importance of refined form-finding analysis. Meanwhile, the internal connection between the lateral and vertical sags has not yet been specified. Given this, an analytic algorithm of formfinding for the earth-anchored suspension bridge with spatial cables is proposed in this paper. Through the geometric compatibility condition and mechanical equilibrium condition, the expressions for cable segment, the recurrence relationship between catenary parameters and control equations of spatial cable are established. Additionally, the nonlinear general reduced gradient method is introduced into fast and high-precision numerical analysis. Furthermore, the analytic expression of the lateral and vertical sags is deduced and discussed. This is very significant for the space design above the bridge deck and the optimization of the sag-to-span ratio in the preliminary design stage of the bridge. Finally, the proposed method is verified with the aid of two examples, one being an operational self-anchored suspension bridge (with spatial cables and a 260 m main span), and the other being an earth-anchored suspension bridge under design (with spatial cables and a 500 m main span). The necessity of an iterative calculation for hanger tensions on earth-anchored suspension bridges is confirmed. It is further concluded that the main cable and their connected hangers are in very close inclined planes.
샤오홍슈의 플랫폼 속성이 중국 관객의 뮤지컬 관람 의도에 미치는 영향 연구

본 연구는 중국 관객을 대상으로 샤오홍슈의 특성이 뮤지컬 관람 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 샤오홍슈에서 제공하는 정보의 신뢰성과 정보 참여가 뮤지컬 관람 의도에 매개 효과가 존재하는지를 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 샤오홍슈의 유용성, 즉시성, 신뢰성, 상호작용성 등의 하위변수들이 관람 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 정보신뢰와 정보참여가 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 샤오홍슈의 다양한 특성 중 상호작용성이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 이는 국내 연구에서 주로 강조되는 SNS 정보의 유용성, 신뢰성과는 차별화된다. 중국에서 SNS 플랫폼은 단순한 채팅 기능을 넘어 사용자 간의 정보 교환과 확인이라는 소비 행태가 두드러진 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 한국 뮤지컬 관계자들에게 샤오홍슈를 활용한 중국 관객과의 적극적인 상호작용과 신뢰성있는 정보 제공은 정보 참여를 증진시키고 신뢰를 구축하는 데 핵심적이며, 이는 결국 한국 뮤지컬에대한 관람 의도를 높이는 데도 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다는 시사점을 제공한다. This study analyzed the impact of the characteristics of XiaoHongShu on the intention of Chinese audiences to attend musicals. It examined whether the reliability of information provided on XiaoHongShu and participation in information sharing have a mediating effect on the intention to attend musicals, using hierarchical regression analysis. The analysis revealed that various sub-variables of XiaoHongShu, such as usefulness, immediacy, reliability, and interaction, positively influence the intention to attend. Notably, information trust and participation were found to play a mediating role. Among the various characteristics of XiaoHongShu, interaction had the most significant impact, differentiating it from the emphasis on the usefulness and reliability of SNS information commonly highlighted in domestic studies. In China, SNS platforms have evolved beyond simple chatting functions, showing a prominent consumer behavior in information exchange and verification among users. These findings suggest that actively engaging with Chinese audiences through XiaoHongShu and providing reliable information are crucial.
