        河南方言使用现状调查及展望

        이 논문은 하남성에서 사용하고 있는 방언의 사용 상황을 조사하고 검토하였다. 우선 하남 방언을 중심으로 했던 사회언어학연구를 살펴보고 본 연구의 의미를 밝히었다. 그 다음 설문 조사의 형식을 통해 현재 거주지、연령、교육정도 등 기준으로 사용 장소、교류대상、언어 태도 등을 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 하남방언과 보통화의 사용 현황 및 하남방언 사용자들의 언어태도를 진단하였다. 조사 결과에 따르면, 보통화와 방언의 우열은 사용 환경 및 사용 집단에 따라 변화한다는 점 그리고 방언사용자 비율이 교육 정도와 밀접하게 연관돼 있다는 것을 발견하였다. 교육 수준이 높을수록 방언을 사용하는 비율이 낮았다. 같은 방언을 사용하는 대상자와 교류할 때에도 보통화를 쓰는 현상은 일상 언어 환경이나 언어습관 때문일 수 있지만, 보통화의 영향을 받아 방언 사용율이 감소하였을 것이라고 판단된다. 언어태도 조사에 따르면, 방언에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 가진 비율이 낮은 편이고 보편적으로 보통화가 더 가치가 있다고 생각해서 자신의 아이들에게 보통화를 배우게 하는 경향도 나타났다. 방언의 미래에 대해 물어 봤을 때 조사 대상자들은 ‘둘 다 공존할 것이다’라는 답이 가장 많았다. 마지막으로 언어 외부 요인 즉 보통화 보급 정책、매스컴 전파 방식、방언 사용자들의 언어 태도로 인해 하남방언이 점점 보통화와 거리를 좁혀가고 있음을 알 수 있었다. Starting with the three social variables of current residence, age, and education level, this article examines the current status of using Henan dialect and the attitude of native dialect speakers by conducting surveys focusing on key contents such as use scenario and language attitude. Analysis showed that not only college or higher but also all residents and age groups currently residing in social variables tend to use Mandarin during official events. In this case Mandarin becomes the dominant language, and in informal settings all social variables prefer to use Henan dialect, but at this time Henan dialect becomes the dominant language. It can be seen that language strengths are not fixed and will change with changes in the use environment. This article analyzes the content and reason of Henan dialect’s tendency to approach in Mandarin. This tendency is mainly reflected in the weakening of dialectic characteristics, the contraction of group use. The cause of this phenomenon is mainly the external element of language, namely the promotion of mandarin. Three aspects of media communication methods and the language attitude of native dialect speakers are analyzed. Also, based on the results of existing research in dialect, this article believes that the reduction of dialect will bring about the situation of language integration in China, but this does not help balance cultural diversity. To protect and inherit Henan dialect and maintain the coexistence of Mandarin, certain measures are needed to avoid the process of language integration and maintain cultural diversity and culture in three aspects of national policy, social organizations and individuals.

        Integrative Analysis of Microarray Data to Reveal Regulation Patterns in the Pathogenesis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

        Background/Aims: The integration of multiple profiling data and the construction of a transcriptional regulatory network may provide additional insights into the molecular mechanisms of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The present study was conducted to investigate the deregulation of genes and the transcriptional regulatory network in HCC. Methods: An integrated analysis of HCC gene expression datasets was performed in Gene Expression Omnibus. Functional annotation of the differentially expression genes (DEGs) was conducted. Furthermore, transcription factors (TFs) were identified, and a global transcriptional regulatory network was constructed. Results: An integrated analysis of eight eligible gene expression profiles of HCC led to 1,835 DEGs. Consistent with the fact that the cell cycle is closely related to various tumors, the functional annotation revealed that genes involved in the cell cycle were significantly enriched. A transcriptional regulatory network was constructed using the 62 TFs, which consisted of 872 TF-target interactions between 56 TFs and 672 DEGs in the context of HCC. The top 10 TFs covering the most downstream DEGs were ZNF354C, NFATC2, ARID3A, BRCA1, ZNF263, FOXD1, GATA3, FOXO3, FOXL1, and NR4A2. This network will appeal to future investigators focusing on the development of HCC. Conclusions: The transcriptional regulatory network can provide additional information that is valuable in understanding the underlying molecular mechanism in hepatic tumorigenesis.       • Prediction of Chemotherapeutic Response in Unresectable Non-small-cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Patients by 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) Assay

        Background: Selecting chemotherapy regimens guided by chemosensitivity tests can provide individualized therapies for cancer patients. The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2Htetrazolium, inner salt (MTS) assay is one in vitro assay which has become widely used to evaluate the sensitivity to anticancer agents. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical applicability and accuracy of MTS assay for predicting chemotherapeutic response in unresectable NSCLC patients. Methods: Cancer cells were isolated from malignant pleural effusions of patients by density gradient centrifugation, and their sensitivity to eight chemotherapeutic agents was examined by MTS assay and compared with clinical response. Results: A total of 37 patients participated in this study, and MTS assay produced results successfully in 34 patients (91.9%). The sensitivity rates ranged from 8.8% to 88.2%. Twenty-four of 34 patients who received chemotherapy were evaluated for in vitro-in vivo response analysis. The correlation between in vitro chemosensitivity result and in vivo response was highly significant (P=0.003), and the total predictive accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value for MTS assay were 87.5%, 94.1%, 71.4%, 88.9%, and 83.3%, respectively. The in vitro sensitivity for CDDP also showed a significant correlation with in vivo response (P=0.018, r=0.522). Conclusion: MTS assay is a preferable in vitro chemosensitivity assay that could be use to predict the response to chemotherapy and select the appropriate chemotherapy regimens for unresectable NSCLC patients, which could greatly improve therapeutic efficacy and reduce unnecessary adverse effects.

        关于网络新词“撸X”词族中“撸”的类词缀化倾向探析

        Language is in a state of rapid change in the development of society. “撸X” was created to meet this new need for expression. This article through the elaboration and analysis of the formation and use of the “撸X” family words reveals that the “撸X” family words are undergoing the transformation and development of quasi-affixation. First of all, the semantic development and origin of the word “撸X” are combed. The original meaning of “撸” is “捋” , which is mainly used for sleeves, to expand from specific things, to abstract things, and to online games with the expansion of application objects. Then, from the four definition criteria of class affixes, the tendency of class affixation of “撸” was examined, and the analysis of “撸 X” was inferring the trend of class affixation. Secondly, through corpus analysis, we find that “X” is mostly a two-syllable word, and the part of speech is mainly a noun morpheme. There are also a small number of verbs and adjective morphemes. Its syllables and internal structure are rich and changeable. Finally, this paper expounds the causes of the affixation of “撸X” from both internal and external causes. Internal causes include language analogy, economic mechanism, and metonymy and metaphor mechanism of cognitive linguistics. External causes stem from the development of social expression needs, and the language environment of the Internet platform has a strong inclusiveness and dissemination characteristics, as well as the influence of people's convergence on new things. It is under the combined effect of these factors that the new words of the “撸X” family are constantly formed. 语言在社会的发展中处于一个快速变化的状态,“撸X”便是为了满足这种新的表达需要而产生。本文通过对“撸X”族词的构成方式和使用情况的阐述和分析揭示了“撸X”族词正处于类词缀化的转变和发展中。 首先,对“撸”字的语义发展和来源进行了梳理。“撸”的本义为“捋”,主要用于衣袖,到随着应用对象的扩大,从具体事物,扩展到抽象事物,再到网络游戏等。接着又从类词缀的四个界定标准考察了“撸”的类词缀化倾向,并通过分析推断出“撸X”正在产生类词缀化倾向。 其次,通过语料分析我们得出“X”多为双音节词,且词性主要为名词性语素,也有少部分的动词和形容词性语素,其音节、内部结构等方面具有丰富多变的特点。 最后,本文从内外因两个方面对“撸X”的类词缀化成因进行了阐述。内部原因主要包括语言的类推机制,经济机制以及认知语言学的转喻和隐喻机制。外部原因则源于社会表达需求的发展,网络平台的语言环境具有较强的包容性和传播性的特点,以及受到人们对新事物的趋同心理的影响。正是在这些因素的综合作用下,才不断地构成了“撸X”族新词。

        Smad4 mediates malignant behaviors of human ovarian carcinoma cell through the effect on expressions of E-cadherin, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and VEGF

        Smad4 is involved in cancer progression and metastasis. Using a pair of human syngeneic epithelial ovarian cancer cells with low (HO-8910) and high (HO-8910PM) metastatic abilities, we aimed to reveal the role of Smad4 in ovarian cancer metastasis in vitro. Smad4 was down-regulated in HO-8910PM cell line relative to HO-8910 by implicating Smad4 was probably a potential tumor suppressor gene for ovarian cancer. Re-expression of Smad4 decreased the migration ability and inhibited the invasion capacity of HO-8910PM, while promoted the cell adhesion capacity for HO-8910PM. The stable expression of Smad4 increased the expression of E-cadherin, reduced the expression of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) and slightly down-regulated the expression of VEGF. Smad4 suppresses human ovarian cancer cell metastasis potential through its effect on the expressions of PAI-1, E-cadherin and VEGF. Results from current work implicate Smad4 might suppress the invasion and metastasis of human ovarian tumor cells through a TGF-β/Smad-mediated pathway. [BMB reports 2010; 43(8): 554-560]

        Quantitative Indirect ELISA for Determination of Walnut Proteins in Foods

        An indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) capable of detecting walnut proteins in commercial products was developed. Polyclonal antibodies against soluble walnut protein were used. Specific epitopes of walnut protein were analyzed for cross activity with peanut, soybean, sesame, rice, wheat, jujube, and defatted milk protein. Epitopes of walnut proteins had no cross activity. The indirect ELISA was highly specific for soluble walnut proteins. Recovery values from walnut protein solutions ranged from 88.47 to 115%, and low coefficients of variation (<10%) indicated good repeatability. Intra and inter-assay precisions were <6 and <7 %, respectively. The limit of detection was 10 ng/mL of soluble walnut protein. The method was applied to detect some commercial food products in China and the results showed that indirect ELISA could be promisingly used to quantify adulteration of walnut processed foods.

        Simulation of axisymmetric scramjet inlet flow fields using anti-diffusive WENO Navier-Stokes solver

        This study is based on the theory of gas dynamics and uses the Navier-Stokes equations as the governing equations to solve the hypersonicflow problems of the scramjet. For the turbulent flow, we use the Spalart-Allmaras one equation turbulence model, which producesbetter results for near wall and boundary layer flow field problems. The lower-upper symmetric Gauss-Seidel implicit scheme, whichenables results to converge efficiently under steady state conditions, is combined with the anti-diffusive weighted essentially nonoscillatory(WENO) scheme to yield an accurate and efficient simulation tool for an axisymmetric scramjet flow field analysis. Using theWENO scheme’s high-order accuracy and its non-oscillatory solution at discontinuous regions, we can solve the hypersonic flow problemsinvolving complex shock-shock/shock-boundary layer interactions inside the flow path. This simulation procedure is first verifiedagainst two existing partial examples to ensure its accuracy, and is then applied to a complete scramjet model with different initial conditionsfor a full flow field analysis. The aerodynamic data of Mach number, density, static temperature and pressure are obtained and theresults discussed. The anti-diffusive WENO scheme produces more accurate resolution of shock and slip lines and their complex multipleinteractions than other numerical approaches. This is of crucial importance for the scramjet complete flow field analysis as multipleshock-boundary layer and discontinuities interactions often occur within the long flow path.

        Dynamic Spectrum Load Balancing for Cognitive Radio in Frequency Domain and Time Domain

        As a solution to spectrum under-utilization problem, Cognitive radio (CR) introduces a dynamic spectrum access technology. In the area, one of the most important problems is how secondary users (SUs) should choose between the available channels, which means how to achieve load balancing between channels. We consider spectrum load balancing problem for CR system in frequency domain and especially in time domain. Our objective is to balance the load among the channels and balance the occupied time length of slots for a fixed channel dynamically in order to obtain a user-optimal solution. In frequency domain, we refer to Dynamic Noncooperative Scheme with Communication (DNCOOPC) used in distributed system and a distributed Dynamic Spectrum Load Balancing algorithm (DSLB) is formed based on DNCOOPC. In time domain, Spectrum Load Balancing method with QoS support is proposed based on Dynamic Feed Back theory and Hash Table (SLBDH). The performance of DSLB and SLBDH are evaluated. In frequency domain, DSLB is more efficient compared with existing Compare_And_Balance (CAB) algorithm and gets more throughput compared with Spectrum Load Balancing (SLB) algorithm. Also, DSLB is a fair scheme for all devices. In time domain, SLBDH is an efficient and precise solution compared with Spectrum Load Smoothing (SLS) method.

        An Ecological Elegy under Colonial Violence: The Counter-Pastoral Narrative and Ecocriticism in Doris Lessing’s The Grass Is Singing

        This paper investigates Doris Lessing’s novel The Grass Is Singing in terms of the counter-pastoral narrative and the debilitating impact of colonial violence. The novel shows the colonized subalterns’ subjugation and suffering inextricably linked to the depletion of their larger environment. By drawing on postcolonial ecocriticism in analyzing the colonial farm as an enclosed anthropocentric space, this paper examines the ways in which the control of the natural environment, the domination of indigenous people, and the struggle over geographical space influence and mutually reinforce each other. Lessing’s novel as an ecological elegy mourns for the dehumanization of human beings and the deterioration of the natural world, both of which are inseparably intertwined. In exploring the significance of Lessing’s novel as a form of ecological elegy, this study delves into the complex interweaving of nature, socio-sexual politics, and power in Lessing’s The Grass Is Singing and reveals the sinister, invisible operations of hegemonic ideologies behind a seemingly “accidental” incident, the murder of Mary Turner by her black servant Moses.
