유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과검증 = (The) development of a parent education program to increase the integrated creativity of early children and increase the integrated creativity of early children and the verification of its effects

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 구체적인 부모의 역할과 양육태도, 지식과 방법을 제시하는 부모교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 개발된 프로그램이 부모와 유아의 창의적 사고능력과 행동특성 증진 효과를 검증하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 개발하고자 설정한 개발 과정은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의성교육, 부모교육, 유아교육, 아동발달, 교육심리, 교육철학, 성인학습, 교육 프로그램 개발 등에 관한 문헌을 고찰하였고, 현재까지의 개발된 다양한 프로그램들을 분석하였다. 둘째, 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 전문가의 의견을 수렴하여 프로그램 개발에 반영하였으며, 부모들의 창의성에 대한 기초조사 및 요구를 분석하여 부모들의 요구를 반영하였다. 셋째, 프로그램을 구성하는 과정으로서, 이제까지 실시되어 온 유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 부모교육 프로그램들을 고찰하여 프로그램의 목표 설정, 교육내용의 선정 및 조직, 교수-학습 활동을 계획하였다. 넷째, 유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 예비 부모교육 프로그램을 12명의 부모를 대상으로 주 2회, 총 10회기의 부모교육 프로그램을 실시하였다. 다섯째, 예비 프로그램의 결과를 토대로 수정·보완한 프로그램을 실험집단 부모 18명과 통제집단 부모 18명을 대상으로 선정하였으며, 실험집단은 주 1회 총 12회기의 부모교육 프로그램을 실시하였다. 여섯째, 본 유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 실시하고 난 후 프로그램 목적의 향후 성취 여부를 평가하기 위하여 다각적인 측면에서 결과를 평가하였다.
프로그램 효과검증을 위한 연구 대상은 대구시의 C어린이집에 재원하고 있는 만 4, 5세 자녀를 둔 부모-자녀 36쌍으로 하였다. 먼저 부모들에게 부모교육 참가자를 모집하는 가정통신문을 배포하였다. 회수된 가정통신문을 확인하고 실험집단과 통제집단으로 각 18쌍으로 구성하였다. 실험집단 부모들에게는 주 1회 2시간씩 모두 12회에 걸쳐 ‘유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 부모교육’을 실시하고 프로그램의 효과를 검증하였다.
통계 처리된 자료의 양적결과를 연구문제에 따라 분석한 결과, 부모와 유아 모두 창의적 사고능력과 행동특성에서 유의한 차이가 있었으므로, 창의성 증진에 효과적이었다. 또한 부모 교육에 참여한 부모들의 질문에 나타난 프로그램에 대한 반응에서도 긍정적인 변화를 알 수 있었다.
이상을 종합하여 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다.
본 연구에서 개발된 유아의 통합적 창의성 증진을 위한 부모교육 프로그램은 부모와 유아 모두 창의적 사고력과 행동특성 증진효과가 있음이 입증되었다. 유아의 창의성 연구에서도 창의성의 통합적 관점에 기초하여 인지적, 성격-동기, 환경으로서의 부모역할 요인 등 창의성을 다양한 측면에서 파악하는 것이 유용한 방법임을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study are to develop a parent educational program presenting better definition of a parents role and child rearing attitude and accordingly, the informative knowledge and methods to increase the infants’ creativity and to examine the effectiveness of the program affecting both parents’ and children's thinking ability and behavioral traits.
The 6 developmental procedures for a parent education program to increase the integrated creativity of infants are as follows:
First, the review of literature was conducted on the creativity education, parent education, early childhood education, child development, educational psychology, educational philosophy, adult education, and other educational programs, before the analysis of the various programs which have been developed was made.
Second, in the process of developing a parent education program proposed in this study, pieces of professional opinions were collected, while foundational survey about parents' cognition of creativity and their needs assessment being made both reflecting the development of the program.
Third, planning of the parent education program in order to increase children’s cognitive creativity comes as the third step, consisting of setting the program objectives, selecting and organizing the educational contents, and teaching-learning activities considering upon other parents education programs which have been practiced.
Fourth, a total of 10 sessions of preliminary parent education, meeting twice a week, were implemented to 12 parents.
Fifth, a revised program, based on the outcomes from the preliminary program, was practiced to 18 experimental group of parents and 18 controlled group of parents. The experimental group sessions were carried out a total of 12 by weekly meeting.
Sixth, the outcome assessment of the program was diversely made to evaluate the accomplishment of the program goals and objectives.
In order to verify the effects of the program, thirty-six parent-child pairs, consisting of aged 4 and 5 children from a child-care center C, located in Daegu and their parents, were chosen and were distributed letters requesting to participate in the study, of which the respondents were divided into 18 experimental and controlled group respectively. ‘The Parent Education to Increase the Integrated Creativity of Early Child’ was taught to the experimental group of parent, a total of 12 sessions, 2 hours each session weekly, and its effects were examined.
The result of quantitative data analysis showed significant difference in creative thinking ability and behavioral traits of both parents and children and therefore, the program effectiveness increasing creativity. There were also positive changes in the participating parents’ responses to the program.
The result of this study indicates positive effects on both the parents' and the children’s creative thinking abilities and behaviors through the parent education program to increase the integrated creativity of early child. The result also indicates that in the study of child integrated creativity, it was useful to consider the factors of cognition, personality-motive, and the parent's role as an environmental aspect.
