Investigation of Stereo-dynamic Properties for the Reaction H+HLi by Quasi-classical Trajectory Approach

        Yuliang Wang,Jinchun Zhang,Yanlan Jiang,Kun Wang,Mingyu Zhou,Xiaorui Liang 대한화학회 2012 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.33 No.9

Quasi-classical trajectory (QCT) calculations of H+HLi reaction have been carried out on a new potential energy surface of the ground state reported by Prudente et al. [Chem. Phys. Lett. 2009, 474, 18]. The four polarization-dependent differential cross sections have been carried out in the center of mass (CM) frame at various collision energies. The reaction probability for the depletion channel has been studied over a wide collision energy range. It has been found that the collision energy decreases remarkably reaction probability, which shows the expected behavior of the title reaction belonging to an exothermic barrierless reaction. The results are in good agreement with previous RMP results. The P(θr), P(φr) and P(θr, φr) distributions, the k−k'− j' correlation and the angular distribution of product rotational vectors are presented in the form of polar plots. The average rotational alignment factor as a function of collision energy is also calculated. The results indicate that the collision energy has a great influence on the polarization of the product rotational angular momentum vector j'.

        Quasiclassical Trajectory Calculations for the Reaction Ne + H2+ → NeH+ + H

Wang, Yuliang,Tian, Baoguo,Qu, Liangsheng,Chen, Juna,Li, Hui Korean Chemical Society 2011 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.32 No.12

Quasiclassical trajectory (QCT) calculations of Ne + ${H_2}^+$ reaction have been carried out on the adiabatic potential energy surface of the ground state $1^2$ A'. The reaction probability of the title reaction for J = 0 has been calculated, and the QCT result is consistent with the previous quantum mechanical wave packet result. Quasiclassical trajectory calculations of the four polarization-dependent differential cross sections have been carried out in the center of mass (CM) frame. The P(${\theta}_r$), P(${\phi}_r$) and P(${\theta}_r$, ${\phi}_r$) distributions, the k-k'-j' correlation and the angular distribution of product rotational vectors are presented in the form of polar plots. Due to the well in $1^2$ A' PES, the reagent vibrational excitation has greater influence on the polarization of the product rotational angular momentum vectors j' than the collision energy.

      • A Comparison of Friction Force Calibration in Lateral Force Microscope

        Yuliang Wang,Hong Joon Kim,Hosung Kong,Eui-Sung Yoon,Xu-Zheng Zhao 한국트라이볼로지학회 2006 KSTLE International Journal Vol.7 No.1

The main principle of two widely used methods which were proposed by Ruan and Bhushan, and by Ogletree and Carpick are introduced. Experiments were conducted using the two methods to measure friction force between AFM probe and silicon sample quantitatively. To characterize the frictional properties, the conversion factors of the two methods by which lateral electronic signal is converted into actual friction force were calculated. The experimental results show that that the conversion factors were extraordinarily different from each other. Further research should be done to identify the reasons for these differences.

125 I Brachytherapy Seeds Implantation for Inoperable Low-Grade Leiomyosarcoma of Inferior Vena Cava

        Yuliang Li,Yongzheng Wang,Bin Liu,Zheng Li,Wujie Wang 대한영상의학회 2013 Korean Journal of Radiology Vol.14 No.2

A 60-year-old female presented with abdominal pain and tenderness of five-day duration. Contrast enhanced CT showed a mass of 9 × 6 × 5.5 cm in size with almost complete obliteration of the inferior vena cava and massive extension to the extravascular space. CT-guided biopsy demonstrated a low-grade leiomyosarcoma. The patient underwent 125Iodine seeds implantation in two sessions, and another balloon cavoplasty. Abdominal pain and tenderness gradually improved and the patient continues to remain as disease free state for three years after the procedures.

The Effect of Physical Activity on Glucose Metabolism in the Prediabetic People

        ZHA Yuliang,Hui Guo,Lei Wang,Yuliang Zha 한국웰니스학회 2018 한국웰니스학회지 Vol.13 No.1

At present, the prediabetic population was gradually increasing, Individuals with prediabetes are at high risk with up to 70% eventually progressing to type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) over their lifetimes. Due to insufficient treatment strategies of T2DM currently, it was particularly important to take preventative methods for them. The lifestyle intervention (exercise and diet) was an important therapy in the prevention, care and management of prediabetes. Based on the literature review of the relationship between exercise (aerobic exercise of moderate intensity and resistance training) intervention and glucose homeostasis index and incidence rate of T2DM in prediabetic individuals, this article tried to summarize the effective exercise intensity, mode and volume for the improvement of prediabetic people, which will contribute to provide practical and effective exercise guidance and recommendations for them. Forty-four papers were searched out in websites like Pubmed and Highwire after typing the key words of “Prediabetes”, “Prediabetic Individuals”, “Exercise”, “Training”, “Glucose Homeostasis”, “Resistance Training” and “Physical Activity”. Through the literature review, it is found that aerobic exercise and resistance training can significantly improve the glucose metabolism and reduce the risk of T2DM in the prediabetic individuals. Moderate intensity physical activity (11.7-18.2km/week, total 6 months) is significantly superior to the energy-equivalent amount of vigorous-intensity exercise for improvements in glucose tolerance and reducing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The research results about the effect of 12 weeks resistance training on glucose homeostasis in prediabetes are inconsistent, In order to improve the glucose metabolism and reduce the risk of developing T2DM, at least 16 weeks of resistance training is recommended.. Additionally, this review would provide the theoretical basis for the establishment of the 73 Balanced Health Methods.

Optimization of Induction and Culture Conditions and Tropane Alkaloid Production in Hairy Roots of Anisodus acutangulus

        Li Li,Jing Wang,Wei Wang,Yang Lu,Yuliang Wang,Genyu Zhou,Guoyin Kai 한국생물공학회 2008 Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering Vol.13 No.5

In this study, an efficient transformation system for the medicinal plant Anisodus acutangulus was successfully developed and optimized using Agrobacterium rhizogenes. Three bacterial strains, A4, R1601, and modified C58C1 and three explant types, leaf blade, petiole, and stem, were examined. The highest transformation efficiency of 94.44% was achieved using strain C58C1 with stem explants. Over 20 independent hairy root lines were successfully established with strain C58C1 us-ing stem explants, all of which contained the rolB and rolC genes as confirmed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Out of four media compositions, the liquid 1/2 MS medium was found the most suitable for hairy root growth. The maximum bio-mass of one hairy root line increased up to 80 times in liquid 1/2 MS medium after a 30 day culture period. Different hairy root lines displayed a varied capacity for tropane alkaloid production and the best hairy root line (T4) from the C58C1-stem combination produced up to 10.21 mg/g (dw) of hyoscyamine, which was about 1.5-fold higher than in the wild type plants. To our knowledge, this is the first report to demonstrate the production of tropane alkaloids in hairy roots of A. acutangulus.

BIOLOGICAL EFFECT OF INTRANASALLY INSTILLED TITANIUM DIOXIDE NANOPARTICLES ON FEMALE MICE

        JIANGXUE WANG,YUFENG LI,WEI LI,BAI LI,YULIANG ZHAO,CHUNYING CHEN 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2008 NANO Vol.3 No.4

The toxicological effect of TiO2 nanoparticles with different crystal structure (80 nm for rutile and 155 nm for anatase) on female mice was investigated through intranasal instillation. After exposure for 30 days at the dose of 50 mg/kg body weight, no abnormal activity and mortality were observed with the normally increasing body weight of mice. The coefficients of tissues to body weight also show no obvious difference from the control except the increased coefficient of kidneys in mice exposed to 80 nm TiO2 nanoparticles. Titanium contents and histopathology examination indicate the no pathological response in the lung was induced by the increased TiO2 deposition, and the liver, heart, and spleen were not influenced. The severe pathology changes in kidneys suggest that TiO2 nanoparticles may be excreted out by kidneys via system circulation. However, the serum biochemical parameters were not changed compared with the control, whichmeans no obvious functional impairment induced by the nasal exposure for 30 days. In addition, the higher titanium contents in the brain tissues imply that the translocation and deposition of nanoparticles through intranasal instilling pathway is different from the other routes such as intratracheal inhalation or intratracheal instillation. The influence of deposited nanoparticles on central nervous system needs further investigation and is underway.

An Acid-/Base-Degradable Epoxy Resin Cured by 1,3,5-Triacroylamino- hexahydro-s-triazine Derivative

        Lei Wang,Shijing Yan,Lei Zhang,Yuliang Mai,Weihao Li,Hao Pang 한국고분자학회 2021 Macromolecular Research Vol.29 No.7

The degradation and recycling of waste epoxy resin products is an urgent environmental problem. To solve this issue, we use acid-/base-degradable 1,1’,1"- (1,3,5-hexahydro-s-triazine-1,3,5-triyl) tris(3-ethylamino-propan-1-one) (TAHT-EA) as curing agent to introduce the hexahydro-s-triazine (HT) ring structure into the cross-linking network to prepare degradable epoxy resin. Specifically, 1,3,5-triacryloylhexahydro- 1,3,5-triazine (TAHT) and ethylamine quickly complete the Aza-Michael addition reaction at the interface of chloroform and water droplets under the catalysis of water. The FTIR spectra, NMR spectrum and mass spectrum show that mono- and bis-addition products of ethylamine coexist in the product in which the content of the primary addition product reaches 97%. TAHT-EA can be decomposed by acid and base solutions. Through NMR analysis of the degradation products, it can be explained that the degradation mechanisms are different. The breaking of amide bonds and HT rings in acid solution and the cracking of amide bonds in base solution are speculated to be the main mechanisms under these two different circumstances, respectively. We tested the mechanical, thermal and degradation properties of the epoxy resin cured by TAHT-EA, and compared it with the epoxy resin cured by 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and triethylenetetramine. TAHT-EA-cured epoxy resin shows comparable mechanical properties with Young’s modulus up to 2.05 GPa and tensile strength up to 70.9 MPa. What is more, it degrades completely by 1 M H+/OH- solution at 60℃ within 36 h. Nevertheless, it exhibited a relatively low crosslinked density (633 mol/m3) and low heat resistance (the initial decomposition temperature is lower than 205℃). Overall, TAHT-EA cured epoxy resin has the potential to gradually replace traditional thermosetting resin, thereby solving the environmental problems caused by discarded epoxy resin products.
