        In this study, we discussed littroal movement and sedimentation of Keum-river estuary and estmated of deposition capacity. Keum-river estuary sea wall was constructed in 1988 Jan. and the sluice gate was completely closed in 1995 May. At the present, Kun-Jang new port. South and North jetty, Semankume sea wall and Kun-Jang industry estate are developing the Kume-river estuary around. At this developing and construction of Keum-river estaury, in many element of hydrauli - ocean waves, tide, tidal prism and depth of water - have changed. Tide analysis used statistics-analysis and harmonic-analysis from 1984 to 1997. Depth of water analysis used bathymetric chart from 1985 to 1997. Therefore we must correctly decise hydraulic element that is use simulation numerical test and hydraulic model. We analyze ocean waves, tide, tidal prism and depth of water change and modeling bed-load movement simulation; K-Cytengel, suspending-load deposition simulation; DIMOS-IV. Through the K-Cytengel and DIMOS-IV simulation estemated the sedimentation capacity and propose suitable answering such as dredging, water injection and remove of estuary sea wall.

      • 21세기 새로운 시대를 준비하는 원광대학교 의과대학의 교육목표 개정과정

        교육목적은 대학의 교육이 지향하는 대전제이다. 그러므로 대학교육 목적과 목표가 어떤가에 따라 교육과정과 교육방법이 달라진다. 원광대학교 의과대학의 교육목표는, '지덕겸수'로 요약되는 '과학과 도학을 겸비한 전인교육'의 건학정신과 '학술탐구'와 '덕성함양'의 원광대학교 교육목표와 일치하게 현재까지 유지되었다. 그러나 현행 교육목표의 여러 문제점이 발견되었고, 시대상의 변화에 따라 원광대학교 의과대학에서도 사회적 변화 빛 의료인에 대한 시대적 요구에 걸맞은 의학교육의 목적 및 목표의 재설정 과정을 시작하게 되었다. 그 결과 개정 작업을 통해 새로운 교육목표를 설정하게 되었으며 그 내용은 다음과 같다. 1. 기본진료능력을 지닌 의사를 양성한다. 2. 원불교 교리 이념을 반영한 윤리적, 도덕적인 의사를 양성한다. 3. 평생 학습하는 연구하는 의사 혹은 의과학자를 양성한다. 4. 사회적 책무를 수행하는 리더십을 갖춘 의사를 양성한다. 5. 지역 사회에 공헌하는 봉사정신을 갖춘 의사를 양성한다. Purpose : With the changes to the medical environments and to the medical educational systems, we aimed to evaluate the current mission statement of the School of Medicine, Wonkwang University, and to revise it. Methods : To establish the new goal and mission statement, a Special Committee for the Revision of Medical School Mission and advisory group were organized in 2008. This special committee conducted through five steps of action, which are composed of investigation, education, development, surveillance of various opinions, and announcement. Results : For the development of new goal and mission, the revised, final goal and mission statements decided through the five steps of action. The new mission of Wonkwang University School of Medicine was as follows; 1. Doctor who can diagnose and treat easily 2. Ethical and moral doctor who practice Won Buddhism 3. Doctor or Medical Scholar who studies lifelong study 4. Doctor who has leadership to social responsibility 5. Doctor who goes into service to a local community. Conclusion : The authors expect that the new goal and mission of Wonkwang University School of Medicine would be helpful in giving the guideline on the educational process of medical school and will give the information to reform the medical school system according to the rapidly changing educational environment.

      • 대학교수의 생활체육 참여와 직무만족의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine relation of participation in sport for all and job satisfaction of professors. The subjects of the study were 119 professors who worked at "S" university located in seoul. A questionnaire was designed to measure relation of participation in sport for all and job satisfaction. The questionnaire consisted of three main sections: (a) sochi-demographic characteristics, (b) questions concerning participation in sport for all, (c) job satisfaction. The reliability coefficients of the questionnaire was .7549. The data were analysis with covariance analysis and multiple classification analysis. Results obtained from this research are as follows: 1. Participation in sport for all has positive effect on job satisfaction. 2. The degree (frequency, duration, intensity) of participation in sport for all has no effect on job satisfaction.

        국내 중소도시 상수도관의 파손특성 및 영향인자 분석에 관한 연구

        This paper was performed to analysis the major factors and characteristics of pipe breaks for urban drinking water pipelines in Korea. The results from the characteristic analysis of pipe breaks by natural cause (77.6%) were showed represented to be highly related to the factors such as deterioration, water hammer, and external factors. And break rate with pipe types were showed PE 0.2056, CIP 0.1521, DCIP 0.06 No./Km/year, respectively. Break rate were showed represented to be weakly related to the pipe diameters, seasons, and laying year. Especially, break rate of winter season were not represented to highly the this study more than other cities such as Newyork, Philadelphia, Seoul, Taegu, Busan.

      • 우리나라 국제체육행정의 현황과 개선방향

        The purpose of this study was examined status and wrongs of international sports administration of south korea and proposed improvemental directions. Domains of international sports administration were sports cooperation among nations and international corporation, helding and participation in international events, sports interaction between south korea and north korea. 1. In sports cooperation among nations and international corporation history of sports interaction was short and the number of treatment of sports interaction between south korea and other nations were 19. The number of treatment of sports interaction between KOC and other nation olympic committees were 33. Since L.A. olympic records of olympic games of south korea have been over tenth and as for asian game since first game records of south korea have been upper level but status of south korea in international corporation was lower. The number of athletics and men of interaction were a few. 2. In helding and participation in international sports events participating in sports events was appropriate but in helding international sports events need considering validity of politic, economic, etc. 3. In sports interaction between south korea and north korea roles of sports was loosing of tension and helping uniting of south korea and north korea and reinforcing ties of korean dwelling in out of korea.

        Trichoplusia ni 세포의 apoptosis 메커니즘 규명을 위한 기초연구

        To elucidate the apoptosis mechanism of Trichoplusia ni cell, fundamental studies for apoptosis induction and suppression were performed. Hygromycin B, a known inducer of apoptosis, started the inhibition of T. ni cell growth at 200 ㎍/㎖ concentration. Furthermore, at 400 ㎍/㎖ concentration, DNA fragmentation was detected on day 2 of incubation. Although both dexamethasone and sodium butyrate inhibited T. ni cell growth, DNA fragmentation was not detected by both treatments. Also, when apoptosis induced T. ni cells with 200 ㎍/㎖ hygromycin B were treated with caspase inhibitor (Ac-DEVD-CHO), the apoptotsis was suppressed by 36%. In addition, N-acetylcysteine, another apoptosis repressor, also inhibited the apoptosis of T. ni cells. In order to express the anti-apoptosis gene (bcl-2), T. ni cells were transiently transformed with bcl-2 and its expression was confirmed by western blot analysis. These results showed the potential of developing new insect cell lines with suppressed apoptosis.

      • Cyclic 활성슬러지 공정을 이용한 돈사폐수의 영양소 제거특성

        The cyclic activated sludge process is a modified activated sludge using the sequencing batch reactor(SBR) operation that can achieve the combination of carbon oxidation and nutrient removal. The operational characteristics of cyclic activated sludge process include a time-sequenced operation of anaerobic/aerobic/anoxic condition in a single reactor to achieve a maximum efficiency. The application of cyclic activated sludge process is, however, usually focused on the low strength wastewater including domestic sewage. As a result, limited attention has given to the high strength wastewater, especially for the piggery wastewater. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate an optimum operational cyclic to achieve combination of organic and nutrient removal using the piggery wastewater. The factors affecting inhibitory effects on nitrification during the cyclic operation is further determined. The result of this study, optimum operational cyclic of activated sludge process is 1hr : 2hr A/O(anoxic/oxic) ratio. Also, It was efficient that the SRT is operated more than 10 days and the specific nitrification rates were 0.04~0.24 ㎎N/gMv/hr at 20℃. Nitrification inhibition of piggery wastewater was found to occur at an influent volumetric loading over 0.3 NH₄-N ㎏/㎥/d. After a biological treatment, remaining phosphorus removal experiments were executed in oxidized ferrous column. As a result, the experiment showed the high density of variation in concentration by contact time on air. As for column aeration, completely phosphorus removal time was 25 minutes in contact time on air(20 hr) with aeration and 400 minutes(w/aeration) and 580 minutes(w/o aeration) in contact time on air(0 hr) respectively.

        Antiadhesive effect and safety of oxidized regenerated cellulose after thyroidectomy

        Purpose: To evaluate the antiadhesive effects and safety of an oxidized regenerated cellulose (Interceed) after thyroidectomy. Methods: Seventy-six thyroidectomized patients were prospectively randomized into two groups with regard to the use of Interceed. We evaluated each group for their adhesive symptoms using four subjective and four objective items at the 2nd week, 3rd and 6th month after thyroidectomy. All patients were examined for vocal cord motility by indirect laryngoscope at each period. Results: Total adhesion scores at each postoperative follow-up period decreased with time, but were not significantly different in each group. The median score for swallowing discomfort for liquid was significantly lower in the Interceed group than in the control group 2 weeks after surgery. In addition, the severity of skin adhesion to the trachea was reduced in the Interceed group compared with the control group 6 months after surgery. During the study, there were no adverse effects or significant differences in postoperative complications between the groups. Conclusion: Interceed appeared to be safe and effective in improving neck discomfort at early postoperative periods and preventing skin adhesion to the trachea 6 months after thyroidectomy.

      • 차세대 인터넷 구조 분석

        이상과 같이 현재 세계 각 국의 차세대 인터넷 연구 동향과 세계 표준화 단체들의 표준화 동향에 대해서 살펴보고, 제안된 방안들을 적용범위에 따라 분석하였다. 앞에서 지적한 바와 같이 현재 차세대 인터넷을 위한 기반구조로 생각되고 있는 기술은 ATM과 SONET 기반의 인터넷 연동 구조이다. 허나 SONET 기반의 기술은 어느 정도의 트래픽 용량이 넘어서게 될 경우 마찬가지로 트패픽들에 대한 처리가 힘들 것으로 보이며, 우리나라에서 적용하기에는 현재 초고속정보통신망이 ATM으로 구축되어 있는 점을 고려할 때 ATM망 기반의 차세대 인터넷 구축이 적합할 것으로 보인다. 허나 아직 많은 모델들이 구내망에 적합한 구조들로 연구가 진행되어 있으며 광역망 적용을 위한 여러 가지 방안들이 현재 세계 각 국과 여러 표준화 단체들에서 연구가 진행중이며, 이에 대한 진행 상황들을 계속 연구 분석하여 우리나라의 실정에 맞는 모델 선정과 나아가서 독자적인 모델을 설계해 나아가야 할 것이다. 또한 이러한 모델 선정시 구축에 필요한 세부적인 방안들에 대한 연구도 아울러 진행되어야 하며, 모든 망을 한꺼번에 바꿀 수 없으므로 비용이나 성능 그리고 차후에 나올 기술들을 고려해 적절한 단계적인 진화 방안도 수립되어야 한다.

      • 非晶質 Silicon 薄膜의 製作 및 그 Doping 效果

        SiH_4 기체에 PH_3 및 B_2H_6 기체를 0.7% 체적비로 혼합하여 rf glow 방전법으로 n형 및 p형 a-Si:H 박막을 기판온도 120℃에서 제작하여, 광투과도 측정, 열처리에 따른 전기 전도도의 변화 등을 조사하여 이들의 doping 효과를 연구하였다. n형, p형 및 undoped a-Si:H 박막의 optical gap은 각각 1.73eV, 1.86eV 및 1.86eV로 doping이 많이 이루어질수록 줄어 들었다. 250℃에서 열처리한 시료들의 상온에서의 전도도는 각각 2×10^-2Ω^-1㎝^-1, 5×10^-8Ω^-1㎝^-1, 5×10^-7Ω^-1㎝^-1이었고, 활성화 에너지 ??E는 각각 0.16eV, 0.49eV 및 0.48eV이었다. 300℃에서 열처리한 결과, ??E는 줄어 들고 전도도는 증가하였다. 350℃ 및 450℃에서 열처리한 결과 dehydrogenation 효과로 인하여 n형과 p형은 서로 상반되는 결과를 보였다. 즉, n형 시료의 전도도는 감소하고 ??E는 증가하였지만, P형 시료의 전도도는 증가하고 ??E는 감소하였다. 저온 영역에서 구한 n형 시료의 전도도로부터 hopping 활성화 에너지를 구한 결과 0.085eV이었다. Thin n-type and p-type a-Si:H films were prepared by rf glow discharge decomposition of silane mixed with 7×10^-3 parts per volume of phospine or diborane. All specimens were deposited on glass substrates held at 120℃. In order to determine the doping effects the opital absorption and dc conductivity of these specimens were measured after annealing at various temperatures. The optical gap was 1.73eV in the case of the n-type specimens, 1.80eV for the p-type, and 1.86eV undoped. This showed that the gap width decreased as the doping increased. The room temperatuer conductivities of these specimens annealed at 250℃ were 2×10^-2Ω^-1㎝^-1, 5×10^-8Ω^-1㎝^-1, and 5×10^-7Ω^-1㎝^-1, respectively, and the activation energies, ??E, of these specimens were 0.16eV, 0.49eV, and 0.48eV, respectively. For specimens annealed at 300℃, ??E decreased and the conductivity increased. When these specimens were annealed at 350℃ and 450℃, dehydrogenation caused opposite effects on the n-type and p-type specimens; the conductivities of n-type specimens decreased and ??E increased, but the conductivities of p-type specimens increased and ??E decreased.From an investigation of the temperature dependence of the conductivity of the n-type specimen in the low temperature region, we determined that the hopping activation energy was 0.085eV.
