Hugo Häring and Hans Sharoun are remarkable in German Expressionism architecture of early 20th century. Most of their works have organic characteristics. Häring suggested the basis of organic theory which is founded upon modern philosophy and history. Sharoun tried to study architecture with concept of organic characteristics. In this study, analyzing their works and theories of architecture which have some characteristics of Expressionism in its form and organic characteristics in its concept, we have compared two architects and their works, and reconsidered the meanings of age when they have worked.
