        남녀 중학생의 성에 대한 지식, 태도, 성교육요구도에 관한 연구 : -Junior high school St grade students in Kwang-Ju city- -광주 시내 일부 중학교 1학년 대상으로-

        The purpose of the survey was to identify the degree and the relationship sexual knowledge, sexual attitude and need of sex education. This information will provide useful data for a more systematic desirable, and practical sex education. The data was collected from 300 first grade schoolchildren (150 boys and 150 girls) of two Junior high school in Kcity. The data was gathered by questionnaire from Nov.21 to 28, 1995. The questionnaire was modified by authors using the questionnaire developed by Lief & Reed. Data was analyzed by using the statistical computer package, SAS to mainpulate the data along with percentages, means, standard deviation, t-test, ??-test GLM, and Pearson correlation coeffiency. The results in this study were summarized as follows : 1. Sexual knowledge. - The mean score of sexual knowledges showed no significant differences between boys and girls(p<0.6180), but in the areas of biological differences(boys; 11.57±2.43, girls; 10.93±2.41, p<0.0242), and pregnancy physiology(boys; 9.28±1.87, girls; 10.04±2.42, p<0.0026) showed significant difference between boys and girls. 2. Sexual attitudes. - The mean score of sexual attitudes showed no significant differences between boys and girls(p<0.8286), but in the areas of masturbation(boys; 6.69±2.22, girls; 5.65±1.88, p<0.0001), and premarital intercourse (boys; 5.42±1.35, girls; 6.00±1.33, p<0.0002) showed significant difference between boys and girls. 3. Need of sex education. - The majority of the subjects wanted to learn about sexual delinquency and it's prevention(57.7%), form a friendship with the other sex(56.3%), physical differences of the other sex(52.0%), psychological differences and the characteristics of the other sex(50.3%) and meaning of love(50.3%). 4. The relationships between sexual knowledges and sexual attitudes. - Those who had higher sexual knowledges showed more positive attitudes towards sex, and showed statistical significance(r=0.2074, p<0.0003). 5. The relationships bwtween general characterisitics and sexual knowledge. - Better students(by self-perception of shool performance) had higher knowledge scores about sex. 6. The relationships bwtween general characterisitics and sexual attitudes. - Those who wanted to learn about sex, and better students had higher attitude scores about sex. - Those who were in high stadard of living had higher sttitude scores sex as well. Suggestions based on above study are as follows: 1. The planned sex education schowed be performed to the schoolchildren establish responsible attitudes about sex. 2. Systematic sex education through formal shool education according to age is recommended. 3. Further studies should be done to measure the effect of sex education based on the needs of the schoolchildren.

        고등학생들의 에이즈(후천성 면역 결핍증)에 대한 지식과 태도에 관한 연구 : K시 일부 고등학생 대상

        This descriptive study was done to investigate the degree of knowledge and attitudes, the need of health education, and the relationship between knowledge and attitudes concerning AIDS in senior high school students. The data was collected from 386 senior high school students(200 boys, 180 girls) in K city. The data was gathered by a self reporting questionnaire, from Nov. 22nd to the 30th, 1995. Data was analyzed using the descriptive statistics methods: t-test, F-test, Pearson-Correlation Coefficient, GLM with the statistical computer package, SAS. The Result of this study were as follows : 1. The mean score of knowledge about AIDS was 42.70 from a total score of 58, showing significant differences between boys and girls (p< 0.0001). 2. The mean score of attitudes about AIDS was 29.95 from a total score of 40, showing no significant differences between boys and girls. 3. The selected contents that the students want to learn were prevention, etiology, transmission, symptoms, and treatment of AIDS in that order. 4. The relationship between knowledge and attitude about AIDS show a positive correlation and is statistically significant(r=0.27, p< 0.0001). The information obtained from this study will provi a useful data to develop a practical health education program about AIDS for senior high school students.

      • 흰쥐 척수 손상후 Parvalbumin과 Calbindin D-28K 함유신경세포에 관한 면역세포화학적 연구

        Background and Objectives: This study was done to compared the distribution of the two calcium-binding proteins immunoreactive neurons, parvalbumin immunoreactiv (PV-IR) and calbindin D-28K immunoreactive (CB-IR) neurons in the spinal cord after transection. Materials and Methods: Twenty rats were divided into 3 groups (control, complete spinal cord injury (SCI), and right and left spinal cord hemisection). SCI was produced by cutting the spinal cord use blades 11 with scalpel handles. Results: In this experiment, CB-IR neurons were mainly found in many pyramidal cells distributed in the brain stem and spinal cord of rats. PV-IR Neurons were demonstrated in all lamina of the gray matter of the spinal cord. These immunoreactive cells had the highest density in the layer I and II of dorsal horn and several nuclei of the ventral horn of the all the segments of the spinal cord. CB-IR neuropil labeling was strongly noted in all the segments of the spinal cord. In contrast PV-IR neurons were different in distribution, size and morphology in the spinal cord. The number of PV-IR neurons were greater than in the spinal cord compared with the CB-IR neurons. CB-IR and PV-IR somata were round, oval, spindle and polygonal in shape, and were unipolar, bipolar, multipolar and horizontal in types. The diameters of the somata of the PV-IR and CB-IR neurons were 40-50 ㎛, respectively. Also dendrites of PV-IR and CB-IR neurons were densely arrayed in network.

        This study is about open and secondary level Home Economics Education which is applicable to field and which includes the characteristics, purpose and problems of each open education. secondary education and home economics education. Based on the ideology of open education, this study will identify the meaning of openness in terms of Home Economics Education reconstructing meaning. purpose, characteristics, curriculum paradigm and curriculum. The instructional model and module which use web, will be Presented as the results of the reconstruction works. The open instructional module in Home Economics Education, which will be operated on the web, is consisted of 1)setting the orientation of curriculum development, 2)instructional model development. 3)rebuilding the Home Economics Education curriculum 4)development of instructional modules and web-based materials and 5)construction of the web-site . Six instructional module begin with critical/emancipatory curriculum Paradigm in open Home Economics Education. use module as a unit of class management instead of 1 class. facilitates nest-type integration which is applied from open education keeping the nature of Home Economics Education. and focus on practical problem and problem solving through reconceptualization with dialectical perspective on individual, family and society. The practical problem solving model has four steps : Identifying practical problems. Understanding the contexts of Problem, Searching for solutions and examining its consequences . Action and evaluation . The web-site has to be developed based on the six instructional module includes those issues : self-identification for reinforcing autonomy and self-esteem. living with famity. living with friends, autonomous living. healthy living, and understanding sexuality.

        초등학교 고학년 학생의 장애아동에 대한 인식 조사

        목적 : 초등학교 고학년 학생의 장애아동에 대한 인식을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법 : 연구 대상은 김해시에 소재한 통합교육을 실시하지 않는 초등학교의 4, 5, 6학년의 비장애 아동이었다. 연구 기간은 2008년 10월 2일부터 10월 17일까지였으며, 설문지를 사용하였다. 설문지의 하위 영역은 사귐, 활 동, 학업 영역의 세 부분으로 각 10문항으로 이루어져 있으며 SPSS 12.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 장애아동에 대한 인식조사 결과 첫째, 성별에 따른 인식은 남학생보다 여학생의 평균 점수가 높았으나 통계 적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 인식은 4학년의 평균 점수가 가장 높았고 6학년이 가장 낮았으 며 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(F=3.546, p<0.05). 셋째, 장애인 접촉 유무에 따른 인식은 접촉 경험이 없 는 학생이 있는 학생보다 평균점수가 높았으나 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 결론 : 비장애학생의 장애아동에 대한 인식은 학년에 따라 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 작업치료사들에게 장애아동에 대한 또래집단의 인식에 대한 정보를 제공함으로써 학교환경에 대한 이해를 도울 수 있을 것이다. Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate attitude of grade-schoolers toward children with disabilities. Methods : The subjects of this study were grade-schoolers who have not received an inclusive education in Gim-hae. The study was surveyed from October second to 17th in 2008. The survey was categorized into three parts; comradeship, activity, and study. Each part of the survey consists of 10 questions. Data were analyzed by SPSS (version 12.0). Results : The results were as follows; First, the attitude of girls toward disabled students was non-significant compared to boys. Second, the order of attitude degree in grade of students was 4, 6, and 5. The attitude toward children with disabilities showed statistically significant difference according to grade(F=3.546, p<0.05). Third, the attitude of students who have experience of contact with people with disabilities was non-significant compared to non-experienced students. Conclusion : In conclusion, therefore peer groups in lower class levels showed more positive attitude toward the children with disabilities. The result will be useful information for understanding disabled children and making positive attitude. Also it is expected that occupational therapists help disabled children to participate in school life successfully using these information.

        Bovine botulism outbreak associated with incidental consumption of presumably contaminated leftover food

        Nine cattle among 18 in a native Korean herd died or were euthanized within 3 days. The affected cattle showed cowshed. The pigs and dogs had been fed leftover food originating from nearby restaurants, and the cattle could presumably reach the contaminated food in the pig troughs. Necropsy revealed a few chicken bones and red pepper pieces as well as large amounts of grain and rice straw hay mixed in the rumen. Botulism type D was isolated in the ruminal contents of one of the cattle. We speculated that the outbreak was associated with the cattle incidentally eating presumably contaminated leftover food from the pig trough.

        유용성 도료와 수용성 도료의 유해성 비교에 관한 연구 : 자동차 보수용 도료를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to substitute water-based painting materials for the current solvent-based ones used in motor-repairing process to minimize the exposure of organic solvents to the painters. This study assessed the exposure of organic solvents to the painters using water-based and solvent-based painting materials and compared compositions, painting processes and the health hazards of the application of these alternative painting materials. The results of this study are as follows. 1. solvent-based painting materials used in motor-repairing process consist of various organic solvents, which consist primarily of toluene, xylene, ethyl benzene, ethyl methyl bezene, trimethyl bezene, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone, 2-ethoxy ethanol, 2-ethoxy ethyl acetate and toluene-2.4-diisocianate and the others. These organic solvents are know as health-hazardous substances. But water-based painting materials are high-solid, low-solvent ones and consist of such two organic solvents as 2-butoxy ethanol and 2-heptanone and the others. 2. The painters using solvent-based painting materials in motor-repairing process are exposed to various organic acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone, trimethyl benzene, 2-ethoxy ethanol, and 2-ethoxy ethyl acetate. But the painters using solvent-based ones are only exposed to 2-butoxy ethanol and 2-heptanone. 3. By using water-based painting materials in stead of solvent-based painting materials containing health-hazardous organic solvents, the exposure of such organic solvents in the painter's breathing zone can be largely prevented. 4. This study recommends water-based painting materials as substitutes for the current solvent-based ones used in motor-repairing process to minimize the exposure of organic solvents to the painters.

        An Artificial Intelligence Method for the Prediction of Near- and Off-Shore Fish Catch Using Satellite and Numerical Model Data

        The production of near- and off-shore fisheries in South Korea is decreasing due to rapid changes in the fishing environment, particularly including higher sea temperature in recent years. To improve the competitiveness of the fisheries, it is necessary to provide fish catch information that changes spatiotemporally according to the sea state. In this study, artificial intelligence models that predict the CPUE (catch per unit effort) of mackerel, anchovies, and squid (Todarodes pacificus), which are three major fish species in the nearand off-shore areas of South Korea, on a 15-km grid and daily basis were developed. The models were trained and validated using the sea surface temperature, rainfall, relative humidity, pressure, sea surface wind velocity, significant wave height, and salinity as input data, and the fish catch statistics of Suhyup (National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives) as observed data. The 10-fold blind test results showed that the developed artificial intelligence models exhibited accuracy with a corresponding correlation coefficient of 0.86. It is expected that the fish catch models can be actually operated with high accuracy under various sea conditions if high-quality large-volume data are available.

      • Large-area, scalable fabrication of conical TiN/GST/TiN nanoarray for low-power phase change memory

        <P>We demonstrate the fabrication and phase change memory performance of a conical TiN/Ge<SUB>2</SUB>Sb<SUB>2</SUB>Te<SUB>5</SUB> (GST)/TiN nanoarray prepared <I>via</I> block copolymer lithography and straightforward two-step etching. The created 30 nm scale phase change memory cell (aerial array density: ∼207 Gbit inch<SUP>−2</SUP>) showed a threshold switching voltage of 1.1 V, a value compatible to conventional phase change memory cells. More significantly, the cell could be amorphized by a reset pulse of 1.8 V height and 100 ns width, where the reset current was 100 μA. Such a low reset current, presumably caused by nanoscale small cell dimension, is greatly beneficial for low power consumption device operation. Reversibly, the set operation was accomplished by crystallization with a set pulse of 1.2 V height, 100 ns width, and 100 ns trailing.
