Classifying Articles in Chinese Wikipedia with Fine-Grained Named Entity Types

Named entity classification of Wikipedia articles is a fundamental research area that can be used to automatically build large-scale corpora of named entity recognition or to support other entity processing, such as entity linking, as auxiliary tasks. This paper describes a method of classifying named entities in Chinese Wikipedia with fine-grained types. We considered multi-faceted information in Chinese Wikipedia to construct four feature sets, designed different feature selection methods for each feature, and fused different features with a vector space using different strategies. Experimental results show that the explored feature sets and their combination can effectively improve the performance of named entity classification.
Mediatory role of K, Cu and Mo over Ru/SiO2 catalysts for glycerol hydrogenolysis

SiO2 supported ruthenium catalysts with and without modifiers were prepared, characterized and tested for glycerol hydrogenation. Addition of K, Cu and Mo affects the reducibility and acidity of the Ru/SiO2catalyst. Characterization data shows that Cu and Mo-modified Ru/SiO2 have stronger acidity. On the contrary, K element on a passive effect on the acidity of Ru based catalyst had been observed. A comparison with the pure Ru/SiO2 indicates the Cu-promoted specimen has better selective to the desired products, acetol, 1,2-propanediol and ethyl glycol, although the reactivity is slightly lower.

Value tracking aims to capture the changes of attribute values along with the evolution of topic. Existing researches on value tracking only extracted the attribute values chronologically, and took no use of the context information to verify the correctness of the values. This paper proposes a context-based value tracking method. First, extract the candidate attribute values according to the patterns generated by the regular expressions; Second, recognize the temporal expressions in the source sentences of the candidate values based on conditional random fields; Finally, identify the real attribute values according to the temporal features and location features in the context. Experiments on TREC 2013 Knowledge Base Acceleration (KBA) stream corpus and human-build Chinese corpus demonstrate that the proposed method can track the changes of the attribute values effectively.

The behaviors of V2O5–WO3/TiO2 loaded on ceramic surfaces for NH3–SCR

The catalysts of V2O5–WO3/TiO2 loaded on ceramic surfaces were investigated to evaluate the behaviorsof catalytic activities, sulfur tolerance, K resistance, activities regeneration for K-poisoned catalyst andSi-modification in consideration the catalysts characterization. The results indicated that the high SCRactivities of these catalysts correlated with the large acid amount, the absorbed oxygen and the welldispersionof vanadium and tungsten on the surfaces. Washing the K-poisoned catalysts with sulfuricacid could partially recover the catalytic activity because of the K dissolution. Moreover, theincorporation of SiO2 with TiO2 considerably improved the resistance toward potassium because ofincreasing the acidity of the V2O5–WO3/TiO2 catalyst. The NO conversion increased from 26 to 68% for KpoisonedVW/TiO2(C-400) catalyst to 76–98% for K–VW/TiO2–SiO2(9)(C-400) catalyst at 260–410 8C. TheNH3 absorption of VW/TiO2–SiO2(6)(C-400) was 236.3 mmol/g, which was much higher than that of VW/TiO2(C-400) (73.3 mmol/g) (approximately 3.2 times higher).

We propose the quasi-zero-stiffness (QZS) vibration isolator as seat suspension to improve vehicle vibration isolation performance. The QZS vibration isolator is composed of vertical spring and two symmetric negative stiffness structures used as stiffness correctors. A vehicle-seat-human coupled model considering the QZS vibration isolator is established as a three degree-of-freedom (DOF) model; it is composed of a quarter car model and a simplified 1 DOF model combined vehicle seat and human body. This model considers the changing mass of the passengers and sets the total mass of the vehicle seat and human body as an uncertain parameter, which investigates the overload and unload conditions in practical engineering. To further improve the vehicle ride comfort, a constrained adaptive backstepping controller law based on the barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) is presented. The dynamic characteristic of the active vehicle-seathuman coupled model under shock excitation was analyzed using numerical method. The results show that the designed controller law can isolate the shock excitation transmitted from the road to the passengers effectively, and both the vehicle and seat suspension strokes remain in the allowed stroke range.
The Solution for Cooperative Beamforming Design in MIMO Multi-way Relay Networks

In this paper, we study the design of network coding for the generalized transmit scheme in multiple input multiple output Y channel, where K users wish to exchange specified and shared information with each other within two slots. Signal space alignment at each user and the relay is carefully constructed to ensure that the signals from the same user pair are grouped together. The cross-pair interference can be canceled during both multiple accessing channel phase and broadcasting channel phase. The proposed signal processing scheme achieves the degrees of η(K)=K<sup>2</sup> freedom of with fewer user antennas.
