        身體 微細畸形 및 産科的 合倂症과 精神分裂症의 家族歷

        저자들은 정신분열병의 일부에서는 태생기 동안 유전 외적인 환경적 요인이 크게 작용할 것이라는 가정 하에 형제 정신분열병 환자군(남 15. 여 7)과 산발성 정신분열병 환자군(남 16, 여 7) 및 정상 대조군(남 16, 여 7)을 대상으로 가족력에 따른 산과적 합병증과 신체 미세 기형을 비교하였다. 산과적 합병증은 Lewis 척도를 이용하여 연구 대상의 어머니와 면담하여 평가하였고 신체미세기형은 Waldrop 척도를 이용하여 측정하였다. 또한 산과적 합병증 및 신체 미세기형과 가족력에에 따라 발병 연령 등의 임상 양상들이 차이를 보이는지 비교함으로써 정신분열병을 좀 더 동질적인 아형으로 나눌 수 있는지를 검토하였다. 1) 형제 환자군, 산발성 환자군 및 정상 대조군의 세균에서 산과적 합병증의 개개의 항목 및 전체 점수의 유의한 차이는 없었다. 신체 미세기형의 경우 입의 미세기 형에서 유의한 차이가 있었으나 그 외에 각 부위별 점수 및 전체 점수에서는 세 군간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 그러나 대부분의 신체 미세기형 세부 항목 및 전체점수에서 산발성 환자군이 형제 환자군에 비해 높은 신체 미세기형의 점수를 보이는 경향이 있었다. 2) 산과적 합병증의 전체 점수와 신체 미세기형의 전체 점수 사이에 상호 연관성을 찾아볼 수 없었다. 3) 발병연령·정신병리·약물에 대한 반응·병전 기능수준·지연성 운동장애 유무 등의 임상 양상들을 비교하였을때 산발성 환자군과 형제 환자군간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 4) 산과적 합병증 및 신체 미세기형과 임상 양상들을 비교하였을 때, 형제 환자군에서 분만시간과 회복시 전반적 기능수준간에, 산발성 환자군에서 산과적 합병증의 전체 점수와 발병 연령간에 상관관계가 있었으나 전체적으로 일관된 결과가 도출되지는 못하였다. 위와 같은 결과를 종합하여 볼 때, 산과적 합병증이나 신체 미세기형이 정신분열병의 원인을 밝히는데 유익한 도구가 될 수는 있지만, 가족력 유무에 따라 정신분열병을 보다 동질적인 아형으로 구분하기 힘들다고 생각되었다. In order to test the hypothesis that familial schizophrenics have fewer chances of receiving organic insults during the fetal neural development than sporadic schizophrenics, the authors compared obstetric complications, minor physical anomalies, and other clinical features in sibling schizophrenics, sporadic schizophrenics and controls. Obstetric complications were evaluated by the scale of Lewis, and minor physical anomalies were measured by the Waldrop scale. Sporadic schizophrenics had a significantly higher Waldrop score for mouth than sibling schizophrenics. Although there was some tendency of higher total scores for minor physical anomalies in sporadic schizophrenics, there were no statistically significant differences in obstetric complications and the other minor physical anomalies among three groups. There was no significant correlation between obstetric complications and minor physical anomalies. The clinical features such as age of onset, psychopathology, response to drugs, premorbid functioning, and tardive dyskinesia were not significantly different between sibling and sporadic scizophrenics. In conclusion, while the obstetric complications and minor physical anomalies were suggested to be useful in the search for the cause of schizophrenia, it was difficult to categorize schizophrenics into more homogeneous groups according to family history of schizophrenia using the parameter of obstetric complications and/ or minor physical anomalies.

        The purpose of this study is to examine the valuable and reliable measuring methods in cinematographic techniques and it's analysis. To accomplish this purpose of the study it analyzed the films of various patterns of human motion. The obtained results are as follows : 1. The faster photographic speed is, the more accurate sophisticated data can be obtained. However, the coodinating error may be great. Accordingly, it should filter through smoothing technics to decrease coordinating errors. 2. Though the errors of photographic speed correct, it may occur the other errors. Accordingly, it should rephotograph in case of the error of photographic speed. 3. Coordinating of the frames at regular interval influences the law data extremely. Accordingly, it should examine characterisitc of analysing motion in advance in case of framing at regular interval.

      • Sustained diffusion reversal with in-bore reperfusion in monkey stroke models: Confirmed by prospective magnetic resonance imaging

        <P> Although early diffusion lesion reversal after recanalization treatment of acute ischaemic stroke has been observed in clinical settings, the reversibility of lesions observed by diffusion-weighted imaging remains controversial. Here, we present consistent observations of sustained diffusion lesion reversal after transient middle cerebral artery occlusion in a monkey stroke model. Seven rhesus macaques were subjected to endovascular transient middle cerebral artery occlusion with in-bore reperfusion confirmed by repeated prospective diffusion-weighted imaging. Early diffusion lesion reversal was defined as lesion reversal at 3 h after reperfusion. Sustained diffusion lesion reversal was defined as the difference between the ADC-derived pre-reperfusion maximal ischemic lesion volume (ADCD-P Match) and the lesion on 4-week follow-up FLAIR magnetic resonance imaging. Diffusion lesions were spatiotemporally assessed using a 3-D voxel-based quantitative technique. The ADCD-P Match was 9.7 ± 6.0% (mean ± SD) and the final infarct was 1.2-6.0% of the volume of the ipsilateral hemisphere. Early diffusion lesion reversal and sustained diffusion lesion reversal were observed in all seven animals, and the calculated percentages compared with their ADCD-P Match ranged from 8.3 to 51.9% (mean ± SD, 26.9 ± 15.3%) and 41.7-77.8% (mean ± SD, 65.4 ± 12.2%), respectively. Substantial sustained diffusion lesion reversal and early reversal were observed in all animals in this monkey model of transient focal cerebral ischaemia. </P>

        비장 종대 및 범혈구 감소증을 동반한 간외 문맥류 1 예

        Aneurysm of the portal vein is a rare entity. Portal vein aneurysms are lesions whose etiology, clinical features, and management are not well understood. Recently we experienced a case of portal vein aneurysm which was diagnosed by ultrasonography, abdominal computed tomography and angiography. A 26-year-old woman was admitted because of palpable mass on left upper quadrant abdomen and general weakness. Physical examination revealed remarkable splenomegaly. Laboratory date yieled the following results: WBC 2,000/㎣, Hb 8.7g/dl; Hct 22.5%; platelet 32,000/㎣, PT 57%; HBs Ag(+); HBs Ab(-); HBc Ab IgG(-); HCV Ab(-). Two D and coronal view of three D abdominal computed tomography demonstrated well defined circumscribed, oval and enhancing mass in the portal vein and enhancing mass that contained thrombosis in the splenic vein. Arterial portography via splenic artery showed fusiform portal vein aneurysm and splenie vein aneurysm containing thrombosis. She has achieved clinical improvement after splenectomy.

        Fe2O3 및 CaF2 를 함유하는 CaO 계 용제에 의한 탄소포화용철의 동시탈인 및 탈황

        An experimental investigation was carried out to clarify the behaviors of dephosphorization and desulfurization of carbon-saturated liquid iron by using the powdered flux of CaO-CaF₂-Fe₂O₃at 1350℃. Optimum compositions of flux were deduced from the series of investigations with variation if parameters such as the contents of Fe₂O₃ and CaF₂ and basicity index in the slag phase, and also initial silicon content in the liquid iron. It was found that the slag compositions of 40 to 50 wt% Fe₂O₃ higher basicity and lower CaF₂content were recommendable for the simultaneous removal of sulfur and phosphor from the melt. The beneficial effect of lower initial silicon content in the melt that observed in the dephosphorization was not similar1y applied to the desulfurization. It was also noticed that the presence of CaF₂ in the slag enhanced considerably both dephosphorization and also desulfurization evidently in comparison with that of CaCl₂, or Na₂CO₃. From the results of the present experiment, it is concluded that the high dephosphorization as well as desulfurization(70 % and 80 %, respectively) can be achieved by using CaO-CaF₂-Fe₂O₃ powdered flux under an Ar gas bubbling condition.

        한국판 Hamilton 우울증 평가 척도의 신뢰도, 타당도 연구

        Objectives : The reliability and validity of the Korean version of Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (K-HDRS) were examined in Korean patients depressive symptoms. Methods : 33 inpatients and 70 outpatients diagnosed as major depressive disorder or depressive episode of bipolar I disorder according to the DSM-IV criteria were assessed with K-HDRS, Clinical Global Impression score (CGI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Montgomery-Aberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS). Results : Internal consistency (Cronhach's alpha coefficeint=0.76) and interrater reliability (r=0.94, p<0.001) were Statistically significant. Principal axis factoring analysis revealed 4 factors that accounted for 50.4% of the total variance. The Correlations of K-HDRS with CGI, BDI and MADRS were 0.84, 0.54, 0.58 respectively. Conclusion : These results showed that the K-HDRS could be a reliable and valid tool for the assessment of depressive Korean patients. The K-HDRS will be a useful tool for assessing depressive symptoms in Korea.

        Inhibitory Effects of Flavonoids Isolated from Leaves of Petasites japonicus on β-Secretase (BACE1)

        The deposition of the amyloid β (Aβ)-peptide following proteolytic processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP) by β-secretase (BACE1) and γ-secretase is critical feature in the progress of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Consequently, BACE1, a key enzyme in the production of Aβ, is a prime target for therapeutic intervention in AD. In the course of searching for BACE1 inhibitors from natural sources, the ethyl acetate fraction of Petasites japonicus showed potent inhibitory activity. Two BACE1 inhibitors quercetin (QC) and kaempferol 3-O-(6''-acetyl)-β-glucopyranoside (KAG) were isolated from P. japonicus by activity-guided purification. QC, in particular, non-competitively attenuated BACE1 activity with IC?? value of 2.1×10?? M and Ki value of 3.7×10?? M. Both compounds exhibited less inhibition of α-secreatase (TACE) and other serine proteases including chymotrypsin, trypsin, and elastase, suggesting that they were relatively specific and selective inhibitors to BACE1. Furthermore, both compounds significantly reduced the extracellular Aβ secretion in APP???-transfected B103 cells.

        Chemical Constituents from the Leaf and Twig of Acer okamotoanum Nakai and their Cytotoxicity

        As a result of cytotoxic compounds against cancer cell lines from natural sources, senven compounds were isolated from the leaf and twig of Acer okamotoanum Nakai. The compounds (1-7) were identified as ethyl gallate (1), methyl gallate (2), gallic acid (3), trans resveratrol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4), acertannin (5), nikoenoside (6), and fraxin (7) by physicochemical and spectroscopic data (including mp, UV, IR, MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT, and HMBC) in comparison with those of published papers. All the compounds were tested for their cytotoxic activity against L1210, HL-60, K562, and B16F10 cancer cell lines in vitro by MTT assay method. Compounds 1-3 and 5 showed cytotoxic activity against all tested cell lines with IC50 values ranged from 12.5 to 72.2 μM. Of the compounds, methyl gallate (2) exhibited the most potent cytotoxic activity against L1210, HL-60, K562, and B16F10 tumor cells with IC50 values of 12.5, 48.3, 22.8, and 22.8 μM, respectively. Other compounds did not show any cytotoxic activity against four cancer cell lines.

        HIT PV Module Performance Research for an Improvement of Long-term Reliability

        We report finding ways to improve the long-term reliability of PV module including the heterostructure with the intrinsic thin layer (HIT) solar cell. We point out the stability of the products of Panasonic HIT cell. We account for a brief description of the module manufacturing process to investigate the issues of each process and analyze the causes. We carried out the silicon PV module of the glass to glass type under the damp heat test around 1000 hours. However, it degraded around 7% of PV module power after 300 hours exposure in comparison with the initial status (Initial: 12.7 Watt). We investigated possible cause and solutions for the module performance to develop the long-term reliability.
