IκBα is a member of IκB family, which sequesters NF-κB in an inactivate form in the cytoplasm and blocks the translocation of NF-κB to nucleus. The IκBα paralogs of rock bream (OfIκBα-A and OfIκBα-B) encoded IκBα proteins with typical features including, highly conserved IκB degradation motif, six ankyrin repeats and a PEST sequence. However, their amino acid identity and similarity were only 55.6 and 69.7%, respectively suggesting that these two genes could be the two different isoforms of IκBα. The number and size of the exons of OfIκBα-A and OfIκBα-B were conserved well with all the compared vertebrate species, although they have significantly different genomic sizes. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that OfIκBα-A and OfIκBα-B proteins cluster with IκBα family members; however, they were grouped with different subclades in IκBα family. Tissue specific expression of OfIκBα mRNA was constitutively detected in all the tested tissues, and they showed the higher transcription level in heart, liver, gill and peripheral blood cells, respectively. The injection of flagellin stimulated the mRNA expression of OfIκBα paralogs in head kidney and intestine. Moreover, the OfIκBα mRNA expression in gill and liver was significantly up-regulated by LPS, poly I:C and Edwardsiella tarda challenges. The transcription of OfIκBα was up-regulated in early-phase of injection and then rapidly restored. These results suggest that the OfIκBα paralogs might be involved in rapid immune responsive reactions in rock bream against bacterial and viral pathogens.

<P>Conclusions: DHP107 as a second-line treatment of AGC was non-inferior to paclitaxel for PFS; other efficacy and safety parameters were comparable. DHP107 is the first oral paclitaxel with proven efficacy/safety for the treatment of AGC.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P><B>Objectives: </B> Keratinocyte stem/progenitor cells (KSCs) are known to regenerate epidermal tissue which they perform through to their great regenerative capacity.</P><P><B>Materials and methods: </B> Because stimulation of resident KSCs may regenerate epidermal tissue, we devised a strategy to find an appropriate KSC activator from natural products and to develop it as a skin‐rejuvenating agent.</P><P><B>Results: </B> <I>Ent</I>‐16α, 17‐dihydroxy‐kauran‐19‐oic acid (DHK) isolated from <I>Siegesbeckia pubescens</I> exhibited a KSC‐stimulating effect during screening of natural products. DHK increased proliferation and migration of KSCs using the Akt/ERK pathway. We further examined the mechanism of KSC stimulation and found that phosphorylation of Y1068 epithelial growth factor receptor (EGFR) was significantly increased. Functional inhibition of EGFR using neutralizing antibody and a chemical inhibitor, AG1478, attenuated DHK‐induced KSC stimulation. In a 3D culture model of KSCs, DHK treatment significantly induced establishment of fully stratified epidermis and increased numbers of p63‐positive cells. Likewise, DHK treatment significantly accelerated healing of epidermal wounds created by laser and dermatome, and increased p63‐positive cells, in animal models.</P><P><B>Conclusion: </B> Collectively, these results indicate that DHK regenerates epidermal tissue mainly through EGFR phosphorylation. As DHK has diverse advantages over recombinant growth factors for commercialization (that is long‐term stability and skin permeability), DHK might be applied to wound‐healing agents and to a basic materials used in cosmetics.</P>

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the correlations big five personality traits, abnormal eating behavior, depression and, life satisfaction among female university students. Methods: The subjects for this study were female university students in Seoul, Korea. The data were collected from 151 female university students from August 13, 2019 to August 22, 2019. They were asked to fill out Big Five Inventory- Korean version(BFI-K), The Korean Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(KCES-D), The Korean Version of Eating Attitudes Test-26(KEAT-26), and, Satisfaction With Life Scale(SWLS). The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Result: First, College students’ nervousness among the five personality traits was significantly associated with depression and life satisfaction. Second, College students’ agreeableness among the five personality traits was significantly associated with abnormal eating behavior and life satisfaction. Third, College students’ abnormal eating behaviors were significantly associated with depression. Conclusion: These results suggest that female university students with higher level of nervousness are vulnerable to depression. And, it suggests that female university students with higher level of agreeableness are vulnerable to abnormal eating behavior. The intervention to consider five personality traits may improve mental health among female university students.

Purpose: The study aimed to investigate the factors influencing consciousness of sexual violence in female high school students, focusing on sexual attitude and parental attitude. ethods: Data were collected from 248 female high school students in South Korea. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection through online survey. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Tukey’s test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The mean score of consciousness of sexual violence in female high school students was 43.54 out of 48. The findings indicate that the mean score of consciousness of sexual violence differed y number of years in high school and academic achievement. Among sexual attitude, parental ttitude, and consciousness of sexual violence, there were meaningful correlations between onsciousness of sexual violence and sexual attitude (r=.132, p=.038,), love-hostility (r=.172, p=.006),and autonomous-control (r=.132, p=.038). Love-hostility aspect of parental attitude (=.159, p=.049) and academic achievement (=.208, p=.001) were found to be the important influencing factors on female high school student’s consciousness of sexual violence (F=5.720, p<.001). Conclusion: The findings of the study suggest that the love-hostility aspect of parental attitude and academic achievement influence consciousness of sexual violence of female high school students. Therefore, in order to improve consciousness of sexual violence in female high school students, sex education program and parent-education program should be developed with further research.
Topology optimization of planar linkage systems involving general joint types

The simultaneous synthesis of the number and dimension of planar linkage mechanisms has opened a new possibility in mechanism synthesis. Mechanisms with revolute joints were a main concern so far but planar mechanisms with general joints including prismatic joints cannot be synthesized. This study aims to overcome the current difficult by proposing a new synthesis method. The key idea in the proposed approach is to parameterize joint types directly, unlike earlier methods parameterizing ground link skeletons connected by revolute joints. So, we propose a new concept of ''double-springs'' that can be used to connect a finite number of ground rectangular rigid blocks that discretize a given synthesis domain. Rigid blocks are elaborately connected by two sets of one-dimensional springs, i.e., double-springs and their stiffness values are varied by design variables. The connectivity of the double-springs dictated by the stiffness values determines the synthesized link mechanisms. We explain why it is crucial to use the double-spring concept for the synthesis of general joints such as prismatic joints. Various benchmark problems were considered to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

A rapid and accurate diagnosis of brucellosis is required to reduce and prevent the spread of disease among animals and the risk of transfer to humans. In this study, a Brucella abortus-specific (Ba) LAMP assay was developed, that had six primers designed from the BruAb2_0168 region of chromosome I. The specificity of this LAMP assay was confirmed with Brucella reference strains, B. abortus vaccine strains, B. abortus isolates and phylogenetically or serologically related strains. The detection limit of target DNA was up to 20fg/μl within 60min. The sensitivity of the new LAMP assay was equal to or slightly higher than other PCR based assays. Moreover, this Ba-LAMP assay could specifically amplify all B. abortus biovars compared to previous PCR assays. To our knowledge, this is the first report of specific detection of B. abortus using a LAMP assay. The Ba-LAMP assay can offer a rapid, sensitive and accurate diagnosis of bovine brucellosis in the field.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between job stress, body mass index and waist circumference among middle aged male workers. Methods: Using a descriptive correlation study design, a total of 122 middle aged male workers were recruited through convenience sampling from November 8 to December 13, 2015. The questionnaire included in this study were general characteristics and the Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short Form (KOSS-SF). Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS windows version 22 program with Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: A significant relationship was found between job stress, body mass index (p=.043) and waist circumference (p=.007). Conclusion: These results suggest that high job stress are significantly associated with both body mass index and waist circumference of middle aged male workers. This implies a need for intervention that focuses on reducing obesity and metabolic syndrome influenced by job stress.

The magnetic properties of amorphous Co-Y thin films prepared by RF magnetron sputtering have been investigated. The saturation magnetization of Co-Y alloy is linearly decreased with increasing Y content, and the magnetic moments of Co-Y alloys larger than those of Friedel's theory were interpreted by the atomic size effect. The coercive force is drastically decreased at about 8 at.% Y which is the minimum solute concentration to get the amorphous phase. The solute concentration of film is monotonously increased with increasing Ar pressure, and the coercive force shows the lowest values at the Ar pressure of 5 mTorr. Effective permeability in hard direction of thin film produced in magnetic field is lower at low Frequencies but higher at high frequencies above 100 ㎑ than those of easy direction. The rotating magnetic field annealing is effective to increase the effective permeability at overall frequency range.
