        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between job stress, body mass index and waist circumference among middle aged male workers. Methods: Using a descriptive correlation study design, a total of 122 middle aged male workers were recruited through convenience sampling from November 8 to December 13, 2015. The questionnaire included in this study were general characteristics and the Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short Form (KOSS-SF). Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS windows version 22 program with Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: A significant relationship was found between job stress, body mass index (p=.043) and waist circumference (p=.007). Conclusion: These results suggest that high job stress are significantly associated with both body mass index and waist circumference of middle aged male workers. This implies a need for intervention that focuses on reducing obesity and metabolic syndrome influenced by job stress.

        직장인의 차량보유 결정요인 및 통근수단 선택행태 분석

        본 연구에서는 날로 심각해지는 교통혼잡에 대한 대책마련의 일환으로 차량을 보유하는 요인은 무엇인가와 출근형태별로 어떤 교통수단을 선택하는가에 대하여 실제 정기적으로 통근을 하는 직장인을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 분석하였다. 자가용 차량을 보유하는 요인으로는 연령, 소득 등이 유의한 결과를 나타냈고, 출근형태별 차량보유확률에서는 외곽에서 서울로 통근하는 경우와 외곽에서 외곽으로 통근하는 경우가 서울에서 서울로의 통근에 비해 차량을 보유 할 확률이 높았는데, 그 가운데서도 외곽에서 외곽으로 통근하는 경우가 차량보유 확률이 가장 높았다. 출근형태별 교통수단 선택 행태에 관한 다항 로짓분석 결과 서울에서 서울로의 출근의 경우 자가용보다는 대중교통을 이용할 확률이 높았다. 서울에서 외곽으로 출근하는 경우와 외곽에서 외곽으로 출근하는 경우에는 대중교통보다는 자가용을 선택할 확률이 높았으며, 외곽에서 서울로 출근하는 경우에는 자가용보다는 대중교통 선택확률이 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 없는 것으로 나타났다. This study explores the determinants of car ownership as part of preparing against traffic jams which is getting worse everyday and the mode choice classified by how people go to work. This is investigated by using a survey of office workers who go to work regularly. The reliable determinants of car ownership were age and income, etc. Also, regarding the probability of car ownership classified by how people go to work, the probability of people who go to work from outside of Seoul to inside of Seoul and from outside of Seoul to other places which are not Seoul were higher the one which people go to work from Seoul to Seoul. Especially, the probability of car ownership of people who went to work from outside of Seoul to other places was the highest. The type of travel mode choice is investigated by using multinomial logit regression which is commonly used for investigating discontinuous decision making. As a result, the probability of using public transport was higher than the one of using own cars for the people who went to work from Seoul to Seoul. Also, probabilities to choose own cars were higher than the one to choose public transport for the people who went to work from both Seoul and outside of Seoul to other places outside of Seoul. The probability of using public transport was higher than using own cars for the people who went to work from outside of Seoul to Seoul but the statistical significance was poor.

        Comparison of the stability of eGFP displayed on the Bacillus subtilis spore surface using CotB and C‑terminally truncated CotB proteins as an anchoring motif under extreme conditions

        We investigated the expression and stability of enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP) under extreme conditions using two types of high-copy-number vectors and two types of anchoring motifs (CotB and C-terminally truncated ΔCotB spore coat proteins) for the development of a spore surface display system in Bacillus subtilis. The fused cotB-gfp and ΔcotB-gfp DNA fragments were cloned into the pUB19 (pUB110-derived) and pHY300PLK vectors. Four types of expression vectors were transformed into B. subtilis 168. The expression level of eGFP on the surface of spores prepared from B. subtilis transformants was measured by flow cytometry. When pUB19 vector was used, the activities of ΔCotB-eGFP and CotB-eGFP were 17.9 and 5.6 times higher than those of the pHY300PLK vector, respectively. In addition, the activity of pUB19-ΔCotB-eGFP was 1.76 times higher than that of pUB19-CotB-eGFP. Overall, the activity of eGFP was more stable under extreme conditions (heat, pH, and protease challenges) when ΔCotB was used as an anchoring motif instead of CotB. Compared to the control groups, the activities of ΔCotB-eGFP and CotB-eGFP were maintained at 56% and 41% at 80 °C and 88% and 55% at pH 10, respectively. The activities of ΔCotB-eGFP and CotB-eGFP were maintained at 62% and 41%, respectively, when treated with 0.03 U of proteinase K. In addition, the activities were maintained at 77% and 36%, respectively, when treated with 5.5 U of trypsin.

        试析近代日本国际秩序观及其对中朝两国的影响

        고대 동아시아지역은 중국을 중심으로 하는 ‘華夷秩序’하에 ‘禮’의 관념 속에서 평화적인 지역적 왕래를 유지하여 왔는데 이것이 소위 ‘朝貢貿易’이다. 조선왕조는 명나라와 공식적 宗藩関係를 맺은 이후 명, 청과 줄곧 양호한 외교적 관계를 유지하여왔다. 일본의 상황은 조금 다른데 일본도 동아시아질서에 융합하면서도 중국과의 왕래는 주요하게 문화적 방면이었고 정치상에서는 시종 상대적으로 독립적인 질서 관을 유지하였다. 특히 근대에 진입한 이후 일본은 빈번히 전통적인 ‘화이질서’에 도전하였고 동아시아에서 일본을 중심으로 하는 국제질서를 구축하려고 시도하였다. 이 글에서는 근대 일본의 國際秩序観의 정립을 계기로 1853년 ‘黒船事件’ 으로 인한 개항으로부터 1910년 조선이 완전히 일본에 강제합병 되는 기간의 일본 국제 질서 관을 연구하기로 한다. 즉 유럽열강의 대외확장을 모방하면서 全동아시아지역을 손아귀에 틀어지려는 일본의 야심을 조명한다. 근대 일본의 국제질서관의 형성 원인, 형성 과정 및 중조 양국에 미친 영향을 검토함으로써, 근대 일본의 국제질서관의 역사적 근원과 그 특점을 해부하여 근대 일본의 침략적 본질을 전면적이면서도 체계적으로 그려내어, 그 역사적 진실을 밝힌다. In ancient times, the whole East Asia had been under the system of "Hua yi order" with China as the center. The concepts of “manners” maintain this area peaceful and orderly. That was called “tribute trade”. Joseon Dynasty had always maintained a relatively good diplomatic relations with Ming & Qing dynasties since suzerain-vassal relations had been established in the Ming Dynasty. That is different with Japan. Although Japan had also been incorporated into the East Asian Order, but it more reflected in cultural aspects when it communicate with China. But in Politics, Japan kept always relatively independent. That became more and more obviously after entering modern times, challenges to traditional "Hua yi order" had been built up frequently. Japan attempted to establish a brandy new order and take Japan as the center of new order. This paper starts with the view of international order in Modern Japan during the times between ‘black boat incidents’ in 1853 and Korea fully annexed by Japan in 1910. Actually that was Japan learned some experience from Europe's external expansion and attempted to control the whole East Asia with that. This paper will discuss the formation of modern Japan’s international order, the reasons of its formation and its influence on China & Korea; try to analyze the historical roots and characteristics of its formation; try to reveal the truth of Japan’s invasion, try to clarify the historical truth.
