        In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller is designed for speed control of a hydraulic inverter elevator. Mathematical modeling of an elevator actuated with hydraulic system is presented and the friction characteristics of a cylinder is examined, which may cause the abrupt increase of the acceleration in the zero-crossing speed region. Simulation results show that the proposed fuzzy logic speed controller yields a better control performance than conventional PID controller.

        저장기간에 따른 3개 수종의 종자 및 발아 특성 변화

        This study was conducted to examine the changes in the seed physical characters and germinative properties of three tree species at three different storage times in order to determine the most suitable storage time and condition. Seed physical characters and germinative properties were examined from seeds of Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Zanthoxylum schinifolium and Staphylea bumalda that were stored at -18C for 1, 3 and 10 years, and the growth performance and physiological characters of their seedlings were analyzed. Seed physical characters and germinative properties showed significant differences between three storage times as well as three tree species. Seed moisture content of F. rhynchophylla and S. bumalda and seed fresh weight of Z. schinifolium decreased with increase of storage time. Storage time represented negative correlation with moisture content and fresh weight (r = -0.822, p < 0.01). Seed percent germination of Z. schinifolium and S. bumalda stored for 3 and 10 years decreased less than 15% and 10.7% respectively. Mean germination times for seed of F. rhynchophylla, Z. schinifolium and S. bumalda were delayed 11.9, 5.7 and 9.7 days after a storage time of 10 years, respectively. However the growth and viability of seedlings didn't show a special pattern for storage time and tree species.

      • 암모니아 분위기에서 질산갈륨 염으로부터 질화갈륨 분말의 합성

        Gallium nitride (GaN) powder was prepared by using a gallium(Ⅲ) nitrate salt in flowing ammonia in the temperature range 600-1050℃. The process of conversion of the salt to GaN was monitored by X-ray diffraction, IR, and ^71Ga MAS (magic-angle spinning) NMR spectroscopy. The salt decomposed to r-Ga_2O_3 and then converted to GaN without r-β Ga_2O_3 phase transition. It is most likely that the conversion of r-Ga_2O_3 to GaN does not proceed through Ga_2O but stepwise via amorphous gallium oxynitride (GaO_xN_y) as intermediates. Room-temperature photoluminescence spectra showed the emission peak at 363㎚. The GaN powders prepared were fused, with its primary particle size being 30-50㎚.

        시설참외 연작재배지 토양의 객토 및 심토반전이 토양 화학성 변화와 토양선층 억제효과에 미치는 영향

        우리나라의 시설참외 수산지인 성주지역의 시설참외 연작 대책으로 객토와 심경에 의한 토양 화학성분의 변화와 뿌리혹선충 억제 효과를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 시설참외 연작대책으로 많은 양의 객토를 함으로 EC는 4.30 dS/m에서 1.80 dS/m로 58%, 유효인산은 406mg/kg으로 55% 감축되고 유기물 함량이 16g/kg에서 11g/kg으로 31% 줄어 퇴비 등 각종 거름 시용량을 증가해야 하면 뿌리혹선충 밀도 억제효과는 1년 차 89%, 3년 차 84%, 5년 차 69%로 되어 근본 대책이 되지 못하면서 영농비 가중 및 환경 파괴의 문제가 수반되었다. 심토반전 효과도 객토와 비슷하여 EC 4.30 dS/m에서 1.98 dS/m로 54% 줄고 유효인산 406 mg/kg에서 329 mg/kg 으로 19% 줄었으며 뿌리혹선충 밀도 억제 효과는 처리 후 1년 차 71%, 3년 차 67%, 5년 차 42%가 되므로 처리 3년 이후에는 다른 대책이 필요하였다. To elucidate the effect of soil addition and subsoil plowing on the change of soil chemical properties and the reduction of root-knot nematode, this experiment carried out in continuous cropping field of protected oriental melon (Cucumis melo L). Soil addition reduced electric conductivity (E. C.) from 4.3 to 1.8 dS/m (58%), available P_2O_5 from 406 to 182 mg/kg (55%) and organic matter content from 16 to 11 g/kg (31%). Population densities of root-knot nematode in soil reduced as much as 89%, 84%, and 69% at first year, third years, and of five years later, respectively. The effects of subsoil plowing were similar to that of soil addition. E. C. and phosphate were reduced from 4.30 to 1.98 dS/m (54%) and phosphate from 406 to 329 mg/kg (19%), respectively. Population densities of root-knot nematode reduced as much as 71%, 67%, and 42% after 1, 3, and 5 years, respectively. Subsoil plowing reduced nematode densities only for three years.

        청각장애학생을 위한 제과기술 교육내용 및 방법의 적합성 연구

        이 연구는 청각장애학교에 재학 중인 고등부 학생들이 직업교육으로 제과 기술 교육을 받는데 있어 어려운 점은 무엇이며, 좀 더 쉽게 적응할 수 있는 방법이 무엇인지를 밝히는데 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 이를 위해서 서울에 위치한 A청각장애학교 고등부 3학년에 재학 중인 학생 6명을 대상으로 주1회 5시간씩 실습을 실시하면서 문제점을 찾아내어 개선 방법을 제시하면서 개선되는 내용을 파악하고, 학생들이 쉽고 효율적으로 기술을 익힐 수 있는 방법이 무엇인지 조사하였다. 결과를 종합해 보면 청각장애학생의 특성을 고려하여 직업교육 내용과 방법의 문제점을 찾아내고, 이를 개선하여 적합화한 결과 청각장애학생들이 쉽게 적응하였다. The object of this study is to find out what they feel difficulties and how to adapt well themselves to new circumstances in the process of confectionery technique education which high school students with hearing impairment received an education as vocational education. To achieve goals of this study, the subjects of this study are selected 3 grade, 6 students, who received an confectionery technique education five hour, one time for a week. In the process, the researcher tried to grasp difficulties which they feel and how to adapt themselves to new circumstances. In summary, after finding out problems about content and method of vocational education and then, changing for the better it, the findings of this study showed that students with hearing impairment be to easily adapted to confectionery technique education.

        Three-Dimensional Z-Plasty(Yoon's Method)를 이용한 내안각 췌피 성형술

        The presence of epicanthal folds in Asian eyelids is one of their unique features, in combination with the lack of supratarsal folds. Western culture has influenced many people to prefer to eliminate the prominent epicanthal fold. A number of surgical techniques have been suggested for their correction. However, difficulty with design, excessive and prominent scarring of medial canthal and nasal area, recurrence, and rigidity of application are potential problems associated with many procedures. This paper describes a epicanthoplasty with three-dimensional Z-plasty. Through epicanthal fold incision, the medial canthal tendon is medially advanced and sutured to the periosteum of nasal bone. After the transposition of the flaps, trimming of the flap is usually required. Three-dimensional Z-plasty creates the attractive eyes. From March, 1995 to March, 1997, the technique was applied to 37 patients with epicanthal fold and was performed with or without double-fold operation. There were 34 females and 3 males with ages ranging from 17 to 30 years. Through 2 years follow-up, this technique has delivered esthetically good results with minimal postoperative scar and could made the reduction of ICD from 40 ± 2.13 mm to 34 ± 1.98 mm. The advantages of epicanthoplasty procedure using three-dimensional Z-plasty(Yoon's method) are as follows; 1) simple in design 2)minimal postoperative scar in the medial canthal area 3) versatile in its application 4) no recurrence 5) no hypertrophic scar 6) preserving ethnic identity.

      • 에지 영상을 이용한 MPEG 비디오의 점진적 장면전환 검출

        In this paper, a new algorithm for dissolve scene change detection in MPEG frame sequences is proposed. The proposed algorithm is based on the fact that most of dissolve curves can be characterized by a variance distribution of edge information in the frame sequences. Average edge frame sequences are obtained by performing "sobel" edge detection twice. Features are extracted by comparing a variance with those of local blocks in the average edge frames. Those features are further processed by the opening operation to obtain a smoothing variance curve. The lowest variance in the local frame sequences is chosen as a dissolve detection point. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm retrieves up to 18 dissolves in total 20 dissolves of some tested videos.
