      • 알루미늄-공기 전지의 전극반응 특성 Ⅰ. 개회로 상태에서 염기성 용액내의 알루미늄 용해반응

        강염기성인 KOH 수용액을 전해질로 사용하는 알루미늄-공기 전지의 전극반응 특성을 규명하기 위한 과정의 일환으로 금속표면 반응식을 제시하고 반응 생성물의 XRD 분석을 통하여 그 타당성을 확인하였다. 또한 개회로 상태에서 KOH의 농도와 운전온도를 변화시키면서 상업용 제품의 용해속도를 측정하여 알루미늄 합금원소의 역할에 대해 조사하였으며, 용해억제제 ZnO 또는 ZnCO₃의 첨가에 따른 용해속도 변화를 측정하여 용해속도의 제어 가능성을 확인하였다. In order to investigate the characteristics of an aluminium-air cell filled with alkaline KOH solution the mechanism of the electrode reaction has been proposed and the experimental product of the dissolution-reaction has been analysed by XRD to test the proposed mechanism. The dissolution rate of the commercial aluminium plate has been measured at various conditions of the KOH concentration and temperature. Every result has been compared with others to observe the effect of minor component of alloys on the rate. It was found to be able to control the dissolution rate of aluminium by means of the addition of ZnO or ZnCO₃as an inhibitor to the solution.

        한국인 두경부암종 환자에서 Cytochrome P450 1A1,2E1 및 N-acetyltransferase 2 효소의 다형성 분석에 따른 유전적 감수성에 대한 연구

        Individual genetic susceptibilities to cancers may result from several factors including differences in xeno-biotics metabolism to chemical carcinogens, DNA repair, altered oncogenes and suppressor genes, and environmental carcinogen exposures. Among them, genetic polymorphisms of metabolizing enzymes to chemical carcinogens have been recognized as a major important host factors in human cancers. They have two main types of enzymes: the· phase I cytochrome P-450 mediating enzymes (CYPs) and phase Ⅱ conjugating enzymes. The purpose of this study is to determine the frequencies of genotypes of phase I (CYP1A1 and CYP2E1) and phase Ⅱ (NAT2) metabolizing enzymes in healthy control and head and neck cancer patients of Korean and to identify the relative high risk genotypes of these metabolizing enzymes to head and neck cancer in Korean. The author has analyzed 132 head and neck cancer patients and 113 healthy controls using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) . The results were as following; 1.The frequencies of genotypes of CYP1A1, CYP2El and NAT2 in healthy control were as following; CYP1A1 exon 7 polymorphism; Ile / Ile: Ile/Val: Va1/Va1 = 59.3%: 36.3%: 4.4% CYP2El Pst I polymorphism, C1/Cl: C1/C2: C2/C2 = 61.1%: 32.1%: 6.2% NAT2 polymorphism; F/F: F/S: S/S = 43.4%: 48.7%: 8.0% 2.In analysis of phase I enzyme, Val/Val genotype in CYP1A1 exon 7 polymorphism and C2/C2 genotype in CYP2El Pst I polymorphism were associated with relative high risks to head and neck cancers (Odds' ratio: 2.09 and 1.37, respectively). 3.Among the genotypes of NAT2 enzyme polymorphism, S/S genotype of NAT2 enzyme had 1.03 times of relative risk to head and neck cancers. 4.In combined genotyping of CYP1A1, CYP2El, and NAT2 enzymes polymorphisms, the patients with Va1/Va1 and Cl/Cl, C2/C2 and fast acetylator, and Va1/Va1 and fast acetylator had higher relative risks than the patients with each baseline of combined genotypes (Odds' ratio: 2.82, 1.98 and 2.1, respectively) . These results suggest the combined genotypes of Va1/Va1 and Cl/Cl , C2/C2 and fast acetylator, and Val/Val and fast acetylator were more susceptible to head and neck cancers in Korean. And genotyping of metabolizing enzymes could be useful for predicting individual susceptibility to head and neck cancer.

      • 발레 그랑 쥬떼 동작의 운동학적 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 발레에서 그랑 쥬떼(grand jete´) 동작을 3차원적 동작분석을 통하여 숙련자와 미숙련자 사이의 차이점을 운동학적인 변인으로 규명하는데 있으며, 또한 차이가 나타난 변인에 대한 원인을 분석하여 발레를 지도하는 데 있어서 과학적 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구결과에 기초하여 발레 그랑쥬떼 동작은 도약전에는 신체중심을 낮게 하고 오른쪽 발끝의 속도를 빠르게 하여 높은 신체중심으로 체공시간을 길게 하고 양다리를 최대로 신전하여 좌·우 대퇴각은 수직과 수평으로의 더 많은 공간과 힘을 이용하는 것이 효율적인 동작을 수행할 수 있는 결과로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the movement of Grand Jete´ through the analysis of 3-dimensional movement, and to find out the difference between experts and the unskilled through kinematical cause. And the purpose is also to provide scientific source by analyzing the cause of its difference when teaching ballet. I come to the condusion below through the kinematical analysis in order to achieve this purpose of the study. 1. The time required means the time needed between each event. It takes the experts 0.361 second from E-3, which is from jumping to reaching the highest point, to E-4, which is a landing point, on the other hand, it takes the unskilled 0.252 second. It takes the longest time to stay in the air between E-3 and E-4. The total required time is 0.694 seconds in case of the experts, and 0.548seconds in case of the unskilled. Concerning the duration of staying in the air, the case of the former is longer than the one of the latter. There is the significant difference between the former and the latter (P<.05). 2. In case of experts, the displacement of the bodily center is 83.44±1.09% in E-3, and in case of the unskilled, 76.44±1.00%. Concerning the height of the bodily center, the case of the former is higher than the one of the latter. There is the significant difference between the former and the latter (P<.01). 3. The speed of the tiptoe to the right side is the top speed between E-3 and E4. The speed of experts in E-2 is 7.69±3.57m/s, and the one of the unskilled in E-2 is 9.51±0.99m/s. The speed of the former is remarkably reduced compared to the one of the latter. There is the significant difference between the former and the latter (P<.01). 4. In the case of the displacement in angle of the right and left ankle joints, temporary reduction of the angle of the experts right ankle in E-2 influences the vertical rise and the horizontal movement. There is the significant difference in E-4 (P<.05). 5. Concerning displacement in angle of the right and left coxae, the experts right coxa angle is 100.58±6.98°, and their left one is 108.92±3.58°. In case of the unskilled, the right coxa angle is 89.66±6.58°, and the left one is 130.33±5.49°. The unskilled need the power and flexibility of the femoral muscle of the left coxa. There is no significant difference between the former and the latter. Based on the result of the study, they should lower the bodily center before jumping and make the speed of the right tiptoe fast when they practice the movement of Grand Jete. And then using high bodily center, they have to prolong the time of staying in the air. Simultaneously, they should stretch both legs so that the right and left femoral ankle can use more space and power vertically and horizontally. Those series of movement can make them practice Grand Jete better.

        The purpose of this study is to determine the ageing mechanism of Mica/Epoxy composite material for large generator stator windings in order to estimate remaining life of generator. X-ray analysis is performed to investigate the position and structure of mica crystal in insulation materials. The phase change of aged and sound specimen under each atmosphere isn't observed. Surface analysis of insulation materials by optical microscope also show that the sound and aged specimen, sliding phenomenon by shear and thermal stress is observed both interface between mica and epoxy.

        한국 수출기업의 인터넷 활용실태

      • 코크스 오븐에서 에너지 효율 향상을 위한 통합연소진단시스템 개발

        In making coke through carbonization process, it is possible to produce the required high quality coke in blast furnace and reduce the cost of energy as well as increase the life of coke oven if we maintain the desired coke oven temperature by means of optimal combustion management (CM). In this study, hybrid combustion diagnostic expert system (HCDES) was developed through analyzing the trend and temperature distribution of flues in the oven and combining the domain expert's knowledge. The model also considered and incorporated the characteristics and the structure of the oven. In developing the diagnostic system, a general and accessible expert language, CLIPS (C Language Integrated Production System) was used.

      • Quantitative detection of telomerase activity by real-time TRAP assay in the body fluids of cancer patients.

        <P>Real-time TRAP assay was developed to improve the sensitivity and quantitative detection of telomerase activity in the body fluids of cancer patients. The sensitivity and clinical significance of the real-time TRAP assay was investigated. Real-time PCR protocol was modified by using ACX primer and SYBR green mixture from the process of TS primer extension. Real-time TRAP showed high correlation (r2=0.843, p=0.001) and sensitivity (25 times higher) compared to conventional TRAP. Of 164 samples, there were 8 positives in cytology (4.9%), 7 (4.3%) using the conventional TRAP, and 41 (25%) using real-time TRAP. In cytology positive samples, real-time TRAP showed a higher positivity than conventional TRAP (75% vs 63%) suggesting a higher sensitivity in the body fluids. There was a tendency towards a longer progression-free duration in telomerase negative patients than in positive patients, as determined by conventional and real-time TRAP. The diagnostic interval between the first positivity documentation and clinical progression was short in the order of real-time TRAP, conventional TRAP and cytology. In conclusion, real-time TRAP assay can detect telomerase activity at an earlier phase of cancer progression and can replace conventional TRAP assay for detecting the telomerase activity in body fluids.</P>
