The changes of the acid value, saponification value, iodine value and peroxide value of fat and oil according to the preservation time and frequency of frying were determined. Soybean oil, corn oil, shortening and shrimp coated with flour batter were used in this experiment. The results were as follows ; The acid value and peroxide value were increased gradually by the preservation time and frequency of frying. The saponification value and iodine value were decreased as the preservation time and frequency of frying passed in soybean oil and corn oil, but increased in shortening. It is suggest that reasonable frying temperature of soybean oil, corn oil and shortening would be 160∼180℃ in home cooking.
Hyperspectral Image Restoration Using Low-Rank Representation on Spectral Difference Image
Le Sun,Byeungwoo Jeon,Yuhui Zheng,Zebin Wu IEEE 2017 IEEE geoscience and remote sensing letters Vol.14 No.7
<P>This letter presents a novel mixed noise (i.e., Gaussian, impulse, stripe noises, or dead lines) reduction method for hyperspectral image (HSI) by utilizing low-rank representation (LRR) on spectral difference image. The proposed method is based on the assumption that all spectra in the spectral difference space of HSI lie in the same low-rank subspace. The LRR on the spectral difference space was exploited by nuclear norm of difference image along the spectral dimension. It showed great potential in removing structured sparse noise (e.g., stripes or dead lines located at the same place of each band) and heavy Gaussian noise. To simultaneously solve the proposed model and reduce computational load, alternating direction method of multipliers was utilized to achieve robust reconstruction. The experimental results on both simulated and real HSI data sets validated that the proposed method outperformed many state-of-the-art methods in terms of quantitative assessment and visual quality.</P>

<P>Two porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) strains (Binh21 and HaNoi6) were isolated from two pig farms in North Vietnam. Phylogenetic analysis of the complete genomes and the Spike and Membrane genes revealed that the two Vietnam PDCoVs belong to the same lineage as PDCoVs from Thailand and Laos; however, the N genes belonged to the same lineage as PDCoVs from the USA, Korea, China, and Hong Kong. The recombination detection program subsequently identified the major parent (S5011 strain) and minor parent (HKU15-44 strain) of the two Vietnam PDCoV strains (p < 0.01).</P>

In our study, sixteen known phenolic compounds, including quercetin (1), methyl gallate (2), caesalpiniaphenol C (3), 8S,8'S,7'R-(-)-lyoniresinol (4), 7,3',5'-trihydroxyflavanone (5), sappanchalcone (6), sappanone A (7), taxifolin (8), fisetin (9), fustin (10), (+)-catechin (11), brazilin (12), 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl β-ᴅ-glucopyranoside (13), 1-(2-methylbutyryl)phloroglucinol-glucopyranoside (14), (+)-epi-catechin (15), and astragalin (16) and one mixture of two conformers of protosappanin B (17/18) were isolated from the stems of Caesalpinia decapetala var. japonica. Their structures were elucidated based on a comparison of their physicochemical and spectral data with those of literature. To the best of our knowledge, this represents the first isolation of compounds 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10 from C. decapetala and compounds 13 and 14 from the Caesalpinia genus. All the isolated compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory effect against the α-glucosidase enzyme. Among them, two flavonols (1 and 9), one chalcone (6), and one homoisoflavanone (7) exhibited an inhibitory effect on α-glucosidase action with an IC50 range value of 5.08-15.01 μM, stronger than that of the positive control (acarbose, IC50 = 152.22 μM). Kinetic analysis revealed that compounds 1 and 9 showed non-competitive α-glucosidase inhibition, while the inhibition type was mixed for compounds 6 and 7.
Sun, Le Council on Tall Building and Urban Habitat Korea 2016 International journal of high-rise buildings Vol.5 No.2
When the tall office building first appeared in the street of Chicago in the end of Nineteenth Century, this building type has become a commodity in the development of real estate and been defined as a machine that makes the land pay. With the investigation of land price samples of the high-rise commercial buildings and the overall land price development in the central district of International Settlement in Shanghai, this paper tries to examine the site selection and construction of high-rise commercial buildings have important positive effect on the land value development.

Religion has deeply influenced customers characteristics and religion has been an important motivation for traveling for a long time. Religions have prohibitions and obligations for the people who follow them, and some religions requires actions: Religion is related to social values, attitudes and cultural developments. The Islamic tourism market has a large growth potential. The Muslim population reaches up to 23% of the world population (1.57 billion); this literally means that 1 out of 4 people are Muslim. Also, Muslim countries have a high birth rate. These young people are becoming more educated and socially advanced which leads to growing expenditure of tourism. For this reason, competing countries are making various efforts to attract Muslim tourists. However, there were little studies conducted on Muslim tourism in South Korea, while the needs for diverse facilities including halal Korean restaurants are raised. Thus, this study will provide a direction in order to attract Mulsim tourists and what we need to make such efforts to develop Islamic tourism; which allows for a comfortable visiting South Korea from various Muslim countries as well as their return visits. The power of word-of-mouth among Muslim tourists will become an opportunity for South Korea to become a preferred country to tour.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Deoxygenation of graphene oxide is a low-cost and effective way to yield graphene (i.e., reduced graphene oxide - RGO) for many applications. However, choices of reduction approach and reduction time need consideration due to damaging pre-existing materials on electronic devices. Here, we found a facile and eco-friendly route that was based on the photo-oxidation of ethanol (diluted in water) on a catalytic TiO2 film to rapidly induce the formation of RGO within 15 min under UV (20 mW/cm2) or sun lights (1 sun = 100 mW/cm2). Our reduction route was indirectly activated by chain reactions of ethanol and TiO2 (so-called domino effect) because the GO deoxygenation occurred even when the samples were placed around and not in contact with TiO2 film. To obtain the highest reduction, the samples should stay on the catalytic film to receive lights for activation and acceleration of reactions. Furthermore, effects of exposure time (1–20 min), ethanol concentration (14.3–100%), and light intensity on RGO quality explored with the use of chemiresistive devices. The results of demonstrative sensing measurements towards NO2 and NH3 indicate that our method is promising for electrical applications using solution processable RGO.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> RGO can be rapidly formed through ethanol photolysis. </LI> <LI> Sunlight is used for activating and accelerating chain reactions. </LI> <LI> The reduction route is not based on the direct charge transfer between GO and TiO2. </LI> <LI> The domino effect of catalysis is promising for exploring further applications. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>An economical and rapid approach to reduce graphene oxide is developed for electronic applications.
