The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

Urapidil, Labetalol의 투여가 기관내 삽관시 심혈관계에 미치는 영향

We have examined the comparative efficacy of small doses of intravenous urapidil and labetalol in blunting hemodynamic response to endotracheal intubation and surgical incision in 30 patients without cardiovascular diseases. After intravenous urapidil 0.2 mg/kg or labetalol 0.2 mg/kg anesthesia was induced with thiopental 5mg/kg. Endotracheal intubation was facilitated by vecuronium 0.15 mg/kg with priming principle and anesthesia was maintained with enflurane and nitrous oxide in oxygen. Systolic, diastolic and mean arterial pressure and heart rate were measured before administration of the drugs, 5 minute after administration, just prior to endotracheal intubation and 1, 3, 5, 10 minute after intubatin. Also the peak blood pressures and heart rate within 10 minutes after surgical incision were measured. Endotracheal intubation and surgical stimulation were associated with significant increases in blood pressures and heart rate in both urapidil and labetalol group. Comparison of the changes in systolic, diastolic, and mean artrial pressures and heart rate between urapidil and labetalol group showed no significant difference except peak systolic pressure after surgical incision. It is concluded that the pressor response to endotracheal intubation and surgical stimulation are not influenced significantly by urapidil 0.2 mg/kg or labetalol 0.2 mg/kg. However, urapidil and labetalol preloading may be similarly effective in the blunting of the increases in blood pressures with larger doses of the durgs during anesthetic induction.

중학생의 학교급식에 대한 급식만족도 : 광주,전남지역을 중심으로

A survey on the school foodservice was conducted from 693 middle school students to examine their degree of satisfaction on foodservice with the object to enhance the quality of school foodservice in Gwangju and Chonnam area. The degree of satisfaction with school foodservice ranked high in taste, temperature and service categories. There were notable differences in the satisfaction level by the gender of the students. Male students ranked higher than female students in taste, temperature and the sanitary condition of food containers. According to grades, first grade students ranked the highest in satisfaction of food selection, temperature, services and cafeteria. Regarding the amount of left-overs, soup and pot-stew were the greatest followed by side dishes. Reasons for leftover food were listed as being tasteless, having no appetite, or large serving size. The items of priorities on school foodservice were revealed as sanitary conditions, taste and variety in menu selection by the students.

Glutamate-Glutamine 변환반응에서의 ATP 재생산계에 관한 연구

The conversion of glutamate to glutamine by glutamine synthetase was studied using ATP regenerating system which is consisted of coupled pyruvate kinase-phosphoenolpyruvate system and immobilized ATP. Two new bioactive polymeric ATP analogs, poly-glycidylmethacrylate-ATP and copoly-glycidylacrylate-N-vinylpyrrolidone-ATO were synthesized and were found to be regenerated efficiently in glutamine synthetase-pyruvate kinase regenerating system. Optimum conditions for the Glu-Gln conversion using ATP regenerating system were established and extended applications of synthetic polymeric coenzyme derivatives in the continuous synthesis of useful substances in membrane bioreactor were suggested.

영어노래를 활용한 대학생의 영어학습 동기유발

This study explored the hypothesis that integrative motivation may be an effective way in improving English proficiency in junior college students, who are mostly less motivated in their learning than other college students. Data analysis based on the self-report questionnaires indicated that group activities using pop music showed great potential to evoke students' integrative motivation, which was later transferred to instrumental motivation. The second finding was the functional value of a group activity. The group activity contained the conception of the communicative language teaching such as learner-centered teaching, speaking and listening-oriented teaching, and practical application of authentic materials. Furthermore, a group activity in the study was successfully applied to large classes. The current work suggests that classroom activities using modern technology, being incorporated with students' needs and interests such as pop music and videos, may contribute to the enhancement of learners' motivation in language learning.

개구부 보강철근의 배근방법이 고강도 철근콘크리트 깊은 보의 전단거동에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this experimental study is to understand the effect of configuration of web opening reinforcement on the shear behavior of reinforced high-strength concrete deep beams with rectangular opening. The configuration including the vertical, the horizontal and the diagonal web opening reinforcements are considered as main variable. The test specimens shaped over-all depth of h 60cm, width of b 16cm and length of L 240cm were made of 8 simply supported high-strength concrete deep beams and the size of the web opening is fixed by 0.5a×0.3h. The test results show that diagonal web opening reinforcement comparing both vertical and horizontal reinforcements is the most efficient in restricting the diagonal crack width development and enhancing the shear capacity.

토끼근육 L-α-Glycerophosphate Dehydrogenase의 활성도에 미치는 N^1-Dodecylnicotinamide Chloride의 농도의 영향

The inactivation of rabbit muscle L-α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase by N^1-dodecylnicotinamide chloride was shown to proceed in two different mechanisms depending upon the inhibitor concentration, At low inhibitor concentration, the reversible inhibition was followed by the time dependent irreversible inactivation caused by some irreversible binding between enzyme and inhibitor. At the inhibitor concentration as high as one-tenth of its CMC, the enzyme inactivation was enhanced anomalously. This abrupt inactivation process was discussed on the basis of the enzyme con-formation changes caused by the interaction similar to that important in the micellization of long chain nonpolar compounds.

It was the rightist public groups formed during the U.S. Military Government that played a crucial role in strengthening Rhee, Syngman's power base right after the establishment of the Korean government. Rhee transformed the public organizations into the half-governmental ones for the purpose of activating national campaigns. At the same time, he subsidized the groups in part. In 1951, Rhee formed the Liberal Party (hereafter, LP) with a view to being reelected and into it incorporated the public groups as the skeleton groups. Therefore, the public groups, in fact, came to be more closely related to politics rather than standing aloof from it. As a power base for Rhee, the public groups had a great strength in that they could mobilize an immense multitude through the national networks. As his relations with the opposition party got tense, Rhee tried to gain control over the opposing forces by spreading the public groups large-scale demonstrations against the opposition, under the name of the so-called 'popular will'. The mobilization of the nation by way of the public organizations was the briskest when the constitutional amendment regarding the parliamentary government was presented by a pivotal party, i.e., the Democratic Nationalist Party, in 1949, when the amendment about the direct election of president handed in by the administration was rejected by the National Assembly in 1951, and when the truce talks were developed. These national movements by the public groups were developed, being intimately related with the LP since 1951. When it got associated with the war situation, the public groups also promoted a movement as for anti-armistice, northward unification, and anti-truce-talks. This can be said to bring about a more forcible ideology of anticommunism.

2,4,6-Trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid 반응에 의한 효소 활성도 측정

A new simple assay method for the peptidyl-dipeptide hydrolase using 2, 4, 6-Trinitrobenzenesulfoic acid was developed and optimum conditions were determined. At the condition studied, this assay was found to be more sensitive than other spectrophotometric methods.
