Experimental Study on Thermal Catalytic Degradation of SF6 Waste Gas by Metal Phosphate

        Zhang Xiaoxing,Li Xiaohan,Wang Yi,Meng Fei,Zou Yi,Tian Shuangshuang,Cui Zhaolun 대한전기학회 2023 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.18 No.2

In recent years, SF6 has been widely used in the electrical industry. The amount of SF6 waste gas produced by the corresponding gas insulated equipment is increasing year by year. However, SF6 has high global warming potential and long atmospheric life. Proper treatment of SF6 waste gas is particularly important for environmental protection. Thermal degradation can effectively eliminate the greenhouse effect caused by direct emission of SF6. In this paper, AlPO4, Zr3(PO4)4 and CePO4 were used as catalysts to degrade SF6/air mixture gas (The concentration of SF6 is 15%) at 800 °C. The concentration of SF6 gas was detected by gas chromatography (GC), and the gas decomposition products of SF6 were detected by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GCMS) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The surface morphology and composition of the catalyst were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results show that the three kinds of metal phosphates can promote the decomposition of SF6 gas, among which CePO4 had the best catalytic degradation effect, and the degradation rate of SF6 reached 84.7% in 12 h. The main products of SF6 gas thermal catalytic degradation include SF4, S2F10, SO2F2, SOF2, SiF4 and SO2 gas, etc. SEM scanning image shows that there were some objects adsorbed on the surface of CePO4 catalyst after the experiment. XPS spectra showed that Si and F elements were added to the catalyst. According to the binding energy, SiF4 was adsorbed on the catalyst. After the experiment, CeF3 was produced by CePO4 catalyst. Different catalysts have their own selectivity to the decomposition products of SF6, which is convenient for the treatment of products, and it is of great significance to eliminate the greenhouse effect caused by the waste gas of SF6.

Impact of Liver Fibrosis and Fatty Liver on T1rho Measurements: A Prospective Study

        Shuangshuang Xie,Qing Li,Yue Cheng,Yu Zhang,Zhizheng Zhuo,Guiming Zhao,Wen Shen 대한영상의학회 2017 Korean Journal of Radiology Vol.18 No.6

Objective: To investigate the liver T1rho values for detecting fibrosis, and the potential impact of fatty liver on T1rho measurements. Materials and Methods: This study included 18 healthy subjects, 18 patients with fatty liver, and 18 patients with liver fibrosis, who underwent T1rho MRI and mDIXON collections. Liver T1rho, proton density fat fraction (PDFF) and T2* values were measured and compared among the three groups. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed to evaluate the T1rho values for detecting liver fibrosis. Liver T1rho values were correlated with PDFF, T2* values and clinical data. Results: Liver T1rho and PDFF values were significantly different (p < 0.001), whereas the T2* (p = 0.766) values were similar, among the three groups. Mean liver T1rho values in the fibrotic group (52.6 ± 6.8 ms) were significantly higher than those of healthy subjects (44.9 ± 2.8 ms, p < 0.001) and fatty liver group (45.0 ± 3.5 ms, p < 0.001). Mean liver T1rho values were similar between healthy subjects and fatty liver group (p = 0.999). PDFF values in the fatty liver group (16.07 ± 10.59%) were significantly higher than those of healthy subjects (1.43 ± 1.36%, p < 0.001) and fibrosis group (1.07 ± 1.06%, p < 0.001). PDFF values were similar in healthy subjects and fibrosis group (p = 0.984). Mean T1rho values performed well to detect fibrosis at a threshold of 49.5 ms (area under the ROC curve, 0.855), had a moderate correlation with liver stiffness (r = 0.671, p = 0.012), and no correlation with PDFF, T2* values, subject age, or body mass index (p > 0.05). Conclusion: T1rho MRI is useful for noninvasive detection of liver fibrosis, and may not be affected with the presence of fatty liver.

Brain Regional Homogeneity Changes in Cirrhotic Patients with or without Hepatic Encephalopathy Revealed by Multi-Frequency Bands Analysis Based on Resting-State Functional MRI

        Gaoyan Zhang,Yue Cheng,Wen Shen,Baolin Liu,Lixiang Huang,Shuangshuang Xie 대한영상의학회 2018 Korean Journal of Radiology Vol.19 No.3

Objective: To investigate brain regional homogeneity (ReHo) changes of multiple sub-frequency bands in cirrhotic patients with or without hepatic encephalopathy using resting-state functional MRI. Materials and Methods: This study recruited 46 cirrhotic patients without clinical hepatic encephalopathy (noHE), 38 cirrhotic patients with clinical hepatic encephalopathy (HE), and 37 healthy volunteers. ReHo differences were analyzed in slow-5 (0.010−0.027 Hz), slow-4 (0.027−0.073 Hz), and slow-3 (0.073−0.198 Hz) bands. Routine analysis of (0.010−0.080 Hz) band was used as a benchmark. Associations of abnormal ReHo values in each frequency band with neuropsychological scores and blood ammonia level were analyzed. Pattern classification analyses were conducted to determine whether ReHo differences in each band could differentiate the three groups of subjects (patients with or without hepatic encephalopathy and healthy controls). Results: Compared to routine analysis, more differences between HE and noHE were observed in slow-5 and slow-4 bands (p < 0.005, cluster > 12, overall corrected p < 0.05). Sub-frequency band analysis also showed that ReHo abnormalities were frequency-dependent (overall corrected p < 0.05). In addition, ReHo abnormalities in each sub-band were correlated with blood ammonia level and neuropsychological scores, especially in the left inferior parietal lobe (overall corrected p < 0.05 for all frequency bands). Pattern classification analysis demonstrated that ReHo differences in lower slow-5 and slow-4 bands (both p < 0.05) and higher slow-3 band could differentiate the three groups (p < 0.05). Compared to routine analysis, ReHo features in slow-4 band obtained better classification accuracy (89%). Conclusion: Cirrhotic patients showed frequency-dependent changes in ReHo. Sub-frequency band analysis is important for understanding HE and clinical monitoring.

Molecular cloning, subcellular localization, and expression of BsWRKY51 gene from Bletilla striata

        Wang Shuangshuang,Zheng Yuxia,Dou Quanli,Zhang Zhengling,Zeng Boping,Li Ying,Qian Yongchun,Ma Li 한국식물생명공학회 2024 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.18 No.2

The WRKY transcription factor family plays a key role in plant growth and development, hormone signaling, and resistance to environmental stress. In this study, we investigated the gene sequence, subcellular localization, and response pattern of a member of the WRKY transcription factor family to reveal its protein structure and involvement in the resistance signaling pathway. The BsWRKY51 gene was cloned by RT-PCR, and the structural characteristics of its encoded protein WRKY51 were analyzed by bioinformatics. The vector was next transiently transformed into tobacco to analyze the subcellular locali- zation, and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was performed to analyze the changes in the expression pattern of BsWRKY51. The BsWRKY51 gene has a coding sequence (CDS) length of 987 bp.The respective unstable hydrophilic protein BsWRKY51 is localized in the nucleus. It most closely related to the WRKY protein of Dendrobium catenatum in the Orchidaceae family. Fluorescence quantitative PCR results showed that the BsWRKY51 expression in the leaves was significantly higher than that in the roots, stems, and pseudobulbs of Bletilla striata seedlings. Under the conditions of salt and drought stress, the BsWRKY51 expression gradual increased and then a slightly decreased, and under salicylic acid (SA) treatment, the expression of BsWRKY51 showed an overall decreasing trend. The BsWRKY51 gene of Bletilla striata may play an important regulatory role in its salt and drought stress responses. Our present findings provide the foundation for elucidating the mechanisms of salt and drought tolerance in Bletilla striata and for breeding new varieties.

The Influence of Cultural Intelligence and Institutional Distance of Chinese and Korean Contractors on the Performance of International Construction Projects

        Yi-Hsin Lin,Huijin Zhang,김찬중,Zhao Xu,Shuangshuang Xu 대한토목학회 2021 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.25 No.9

Cultural intelligence can effectively solve cross-cultural problems, which encourages contractors to adapt to the new international market environment. However, in international projects, the effectiveness of cultural intelligence can be complicated or moderated by the host country's institutional environment. This study explores the impact of cultural intelligence on the performance of international construction projects and the moderating effect of institutional distance, then compares the differences between Chinese contractors and Korean contractors. In this paper, eleven hypotheses were proposed, and an empirical analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses and measure the impact of cultural intelligence on the performance of international construction projects and the moderating effect of institutional distance. The results from 144 valid questionnaires indicated that process capability and path capability in cultural intelligence have a significant positive impact on the performance of international construction projects, while formal institutional distance can positively moderate the relationship between position capability and international construction project performance. Moreover, Chinese and Korean contractors display significant differences in the moderating role of institutional distance. These findings provide theoretical support and strategic suggestions for not only contractors in China and Korea but for all international contractors seeking to improve project performance through cultural intelligence and institutional distance.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Benefiting from high volumetric energy density and generally dendrite-free growth of Mg metal, rechargeable magnesium batteries (MBs) become a promising next-generation energy storage system. Organic electrode materials, with characteristic of sustainable resource and flexible structure, have been widely studied in alkali metal ion batteries, but are rarely reported in MBs. Herein, we demonstrate that 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA) serves as a cathode material for MBs in non-aqueous system, which realizes a fast diffusion kinetics and remarkable Mg-storage performance through a salt-dissolution inhibition approach for the electrolyte. The PTCDA exhibits a reversible capacity of 126 mAh g−1 (at 200 mA g−1), excellent rate performance, and good cycling stability (100 mAh g−1 even after 150 cycles). Furthermore, the evolution mechanism of the PTCDA electrode based on the transformation between carbonyl groups (CO) and enolate groups (C–O) is revealed by <I>ex-situ</I> phase characterization and functional group analysis. Besides, the dissolution inhibition of the PTCDA could also be realized through the incorporation of other soluble salt (KCl or NaCl) into all phenyl complex (APC) electrolyte, resulting in an enhanced cycling capacity. A simplified seismic design method for low-rise dual frame-steel plate shear wall structures

        Jiulin Bai,Jianyuan Zhang,Ke Du,Shuangshuang Jin 국제구조공학회 2020 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.37 No.4

In this paper, a simplified seismic design method for low-rise dual frame-steel plate shear wall (SPSW) structures is proposed in the framework of performance-based seismic design. The dynamic response of a low-rise structure is mainly dominated by the first-mode and the structural system can be simplified to an equivalent single degree-of-freedom (SDOF) oscillator. The dual frame-SPSW structure was decomposed into a frame system and a SPSW system and they were simplified to an equivalent F-SDOF (SDOF for frame) oscillator and an equivalent S-SDOF (SDOF for SPSW) oscillator, respectively. The analytical models of F-SDOF and S-SDOF oscillators were constructed based on the OpenSees platform. The equivalent SDOF oscillator (D-SDOF, dual SDOF) for the frame-SPSW system was developed by combining the F-SDOF and S-SDOF oscillators in parallel. By employing the lateral force resistance coefficients and seismic demands of D-SDOF oscillator, the design approach of SPSW systems was developed. A 7-story frame-SPSW system was adopted to verify the feasibility and demonstrate the design process of the simplified method. The results also show the seismic demands derived by the equivalent dual SDOF oscillator have a good consistence with that by the frame-SPSW structure.

Stayed Buckle Cable Recycling for Seismic Upgrading of Super-long-span Concrete Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridges

        Dan Ye,Jianting Zhou,Ruijie Zhang,Lueqin Xu,Shuangshuang Jin 대한토목학회 2024 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.28 No.2

A seismic upgrading approach for super-large-span upper-deck concrete-filled steel tube arch bridges using the stayed buckle cables (SBCs, which are temporary facilities for construction of long-span arch bridges) was proposed. The arrangement of SBCs most beneficial to the seismic resistance of arch bridges was determined. The results show that the reasonable arrangement of SBCs can achieve significant seismic performance improvement, reduce the stress demand on the diagonal of the arch rib, and improve the capacity-demand ratios of the weak sections of the arch rib. In upgrading model, the max displacement response of the structure is decreased by 41.3%, the max tensile stress on the diagonal is decreased by 30.1%, the max compression stress demand on the diagonal decreased by 18.0%, the CDRs of sections of the arch ribs are greatly improved.

Multidrug Resistance Mechanisms of Carbapenem Resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae Strains Isolated in Chongqing, China

        Jinrong Yan,Shuli Pu,Xiaojiong Jia,XiuYu Xu,Shuangshuang Yang,Jing Shi,Shan Sun,Liping Zhang 대한진단검사의학회 2017 Annals of Laboratory Medicine Vol.37 No.5

Background: Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) is considered a serious global threat. However, little is known regarding the multidrug resistance (MDR) mechanisms of CRKP. This study investigated the phenotypes and MDR mechanisms of CRKP and identified their clonal characteristics. Methods: PCR and sequencing were utilized to identify antibiotic resistance determinants. Integron gene cassette arrays were determined by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis. Multi-locus sequence typing (MLST) and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) were used for epidemiological analysis. Plasmids were typed by using a PCR-based replicon typing and analyzed by conjugation and transformation assays. Results: Seventy-eight strains were identified as resistant to at least one carbapenem; these CRKP strains had a high prevalence rate (38.5%, 30/78) of carbapenemase producers. Additionally, most isolates harbored MDR genes, including Extended spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs), AmpC, and quinolone and aminoglycoside resistance genes. Loss of porin genes was observed, and Class 1 integron was detected in 66.7% of the investigated isolates. PFGE and MLST results excluded the occurrence of clonal dissemination among these isolates. Conclusions: A high prevalence of NDM-1 genes encoding carbapenem resistance determinants was demonstrated among the K. pneumoniae isolates. Importantly, this is the first report of blaNDM-1 carriage in a K. pneumoniae ST1383 clone in China and of a MDR CRKP isolate co-harboring blaNDM-1, blaKPC-2, blaCTX-M, blaSHV, acc(6’)-Ib, rmtB, qnrB, and acc(6’)-Ib-cr.
