Follicular Bronchiolitis Mimicking Lung Cancer in a Patient with Primary Sjogren’s Syndrome

Follicular bronchiolitis (FB) is an uncommon pulmonary lymphoproliferative disorder that is characterized by the presence of peribronchiolar hyperplastic lymphoid follicles with reactive germinal centers. FB could be associated with systemic illnesses including immunodeficiency, infection, and autoimmune diseases. In Korea, a single case of FB with rheumatoid arthritis was recently described but there has been no report on FB associated with other rheumatic diseases. Herein, we describe the first case of FB presenting nodular ground-glass opacities (GGO), which mimicked lung cancer, in patients with primary Sjogren’s syndrome (SS). The differential diagnosis of nodular GGO lesions should include FB although it is a rare manifestation in SS patients. (J Rheum Dis 2019;26:206-210)
Design Studies for a High Resolution Cold Cavity Beam Position Monitor

<P>In order to preserve a low emittance beam along the ~11 km long main linacs of the International Linear Collider (ILC), precise monitoring and control of the beam orbit is mandatory. A resolution <; 1 μm is required for the beam position monitors (BPM), which are located inside the cryomodules, i.e. operated at cryogenic temperatures. By using the electromagnetic field simulation programs (CST Studio Suite), we have designed a high resolution cold cavity BPM, operating in the L-Band at a 1.3 GHz dipole-mode frequency. This enables the measurement of the beam position with a Project-X like beam structure, as well as with ILC beam parameters at the superconducting RF test accelerator in the Fermilab New Muon Lab (NML) building. The results of the design studies predicts a resolution potential of a few hundred nanometers with a signal decay time of 50 ns.</P>
G-내성 함양을 위한 공군사관학교 항공체력육성 관련 교과 개선방향 탐색

공군사관학교는 정예 전투기 조종사를 양성하기 위한 특수 목적 대학으로, 체육 교육과정 중 항공체력을 육성하기 위한 교과 내용이 큰 비중을 차지한다. 그러나 최근 공군사관생도들의 조종사가 되기 위한 G-test 통과율이 하락하고 있어 본 연구에 서는 항공체력 구성 요소 중 G-내성을 육성하고 강화할 수 있는 교과의 개선방향을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌 연구와 6회의 전문가 회의를 통해 체력과 G 내성의 관계를 분석하고 항공체력육성 관련 교과 운영 경과와 체력 변화의 추이를 분석하여 공사 체육교육과정의 항공체력 육성 관련 교과 개선방향을 도출하였다. 문헌 및 선행 연구 분석 결과 공사 생도의 체력은 항공체력육성 관련 수업의 변화와 밀접한 연관성이 있으며, 기존 시행 중인 사관학교 체력검정제도는 G 내성과 관련성이 다소 미흡한 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 따라 전문가 회의를 통해 도출된 G-내성 육성을 위한 교과 개선 방향은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제도적으로 무산소성 체력을 평가하는 방안을 검토하고, 교과측면에서는 무산소성 체력을 육성할 수 있는 교과 신설을 검토해야 한다. 둘째, 지도자 요인 측면에서는 교과 체계가 일률적으로 이뤄질 수 있도록 G-내성 관련하여 단기교수를 중심으로 교육이 필요하고, 셋째, 정책적으로는 교과 재개정시까지 현 교과 내에서 내용적으로 체력 관련 비율을 높고, 관련 연구를 축적하여 향후 교육과정 개정시 숙의의 과정을 거쳐 연구 기반 교육과정 개정이 될 수 있도록 준비해야 한다. 추가적으로 향상된 체력이 G-test에서 갖는 효과에 대해서는 후속연구가 필요하다. Korea Air Force Academy s Aviational Fitness Curriculum must be systemized for cadets g-tolerance promotion. G-tolerance is related with fitness. But, for recent years, pilot cultivation rate is decreased under 50%. Furthermore, Academy decreased aviational fitness subjects 44% from 2018 compared with 2017. So, this study inspected aviational fitness curriculum and cadet s fitness, fitness and G-tolerance, and preliminary research about pilots G-tolerance and fitness. Results are inferred as follows. First, cadets fitness is related with aviational fitness curriculum. Second, fitness inspect is weakly with G-tolerance. Form this results, we suggested aviational fitness curriculum s improvement direction. In system phase, academy must consider inspection of anaerobic fitness. In curriculum phase, academy must consider founding anaerobic fitness subject. In professor phase, academy must consider short-term professors education for sequence of curriculum. In policy phase, academy must consider fitness program s rate increasing and research accumulation for future curriculum revision.
Dark winged fungus gnats (Sciaridae: Diptera) collected from shiitake mushroom in Korea

Five genera and 7 species of sciarid flies were collected in shiitake mushroom farm from 2007 to 2009. Among them, Lycoriella ingenua was dominant as a possible pest of the shiitake mushroom cultivated in plastic bottles. Other six species are reported for the first time in Korea.
Taxonomic Review of the Genus Bardysia (Diptera: Sciaridae) in Korea

As a member of fungus gnats, the genus Bradysia can be the pests on many kind of agricultural crops, including mushroom farming. Feeding on healthy roots of crops, they can also spread root rot diseases. In Korea Bradysia difformis is known as major pest in greenhouse crops (carrot, cucumbers, garlic, melon, potatoes, radish, strawberries, sugarbeet, sweetpepper, sweetpotato, etc). Besides Bradysia difformis, we report six Bradysia species for the first time in Korea.
Two New Dipteran Pests on Shiitake Mushroom Camptomyia spp. (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae), in Korea

Camptomyia is a genus of gall midges belonging to subfamily Porricondilinae. On the study of shiitake mushroom farm in Korea, three species of maggots were collected. Among them, two Camptomyia spp. were recognized as the major pests. Colonies of these maggots were feeding on the mycelium of shiitake mushroom, disturbing the formation of mushroom fruit body. The morphology of C. heterobia and C. corticalis were illustrated with the description.
