The removal effectiveness of various heavy metal ions in aqueous solutions has been studied by means of spectroscopic and pH method. Treatment of calix[6]arene-p-hexa-sulfonate and O-n-hexa[6]arene-p-sulfonate to heavy metal ion solutions showed a good result to remove the big size atomic radii of the heavy metal. Stability constants were depended on the variation of pH likely to show the absorbance is higher at pH 8~10 region.

복합관절운동과 단일관절운동시 대퇴사두근의 근전도 비교분석

The electromyographic analyses were conducted in 10 subjects during open kinetic chain exercise (OKCE) and close kinetic chain exercise(CKCE) in vastus medialis(VM), vastus lateralis(VL), and rectus femorali(RF). And the results were: 1.Both OKCE and CKCE improved the strength of quadriceps muscle as the knee joint flexion was Increased. 2.In OKCE, the strength of VM was improved the most at the 30 degree angle. 3.In CKCE, the strength of VM was improved the most at the 30 degree angle. 4.The VM/VL ratio was the largest at the 10 and 20 degree angles in OKCE and CKCE, respectively. 5.The VM/VL ratio at 10, 20, and 30 degree angles was significantly different between OKCE and CKCE (p〈.05). Base on the results, the OKCE is recommended for the knee joint patients, especially for the patellofemoral pain syndrome patients, during the early phase of rehabilitation. In order to improve strength of the quadriceps, muscle strength training at 30 degree angle is recommended. In order to improve VM/VL ratio, 10 and 20 degree angles are recommended during OKCE and CKCE, respectively. Future researches are warranted comparing electromyographic analysis between OKCE and CKCE in the quadriceps at a certain work lead, and muscle strength performance in the quadriceps at different positions of foot.

이중관 기포탑에서의 비뉴튼류의 기-액간 물질이동(Ⅱ)

The gas holdup and the volumetric liquid phase masstrasfer in a bubble column with draught tube were measured by variation of concentration, gas velocity and diameter of the draught tube in highly viscous-pseudo plsatic Catboxymethylcellulose aqueous solution. 1) ε_(G) and K_(L)a are increased with increasing the gas velocity generally. Increasing rate in case of 0.05∼0.30 wt% is shown a little than 0.50∼0.70 wt%. 2) ε_(G) and K_(L)a are decresed with increasing the CMC concentration. Decreasing rate in case of higher gas velocity is shown more steepening than lower gas velocity. 3) ε_(G) and K_(L)a are not so much changeable with increasing of draught tube diameter. 기포탑 내의 중금속 수용액에 대한 기-액접촉면적과 물질전달에 관한 연구

기포탑 내에서 중금속 수용액에 대한 기체 체류량, 기포경, 기-액 계면적 및 액상 용량물질 전달계수를 용액의 물성과 분산판의 종류에 따라 실험하였다. 기체 체류량, 기-액 계면적 및 액상 용량 물질 전달계수는 기체 속도와 용액의 농도가 증가함에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 기포경은 용액의 농도가 증가하면 감소하였고 기-액 계면적과 기체 체류량 사이에는 직선 관계를 나타내었으며, 기체 체류량과 액상용량물질전달계수에 대한 새로운 무차원식을 구하였다. In the experiment of heavy metal solution in the bubble column, gas hold up, bubble diameter, gas liquid interface area and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficient are measured according to liquid properties and various perforated plates. Gas hold up and gas liquid interface area increase as the gas velocity and liquid concentration increase. Bubble diameters decrease as the liquid concentra-tions increase. The gas liquid interface areas are directly proportional to the gas hold up. The new dimensionless correlations of gas hold up and the volumetric mass transfer coefficients are obtained.

이중관 기포탑에서의 비뉴튼류의 기-액간 물질이동

The effect of draught tube dimension, properties of CMC aqueous solution and gas velocity on the gas holdup, ??, and the volumetric liquidphase masstransfer coefficient, ??, in a bubble column with draught tube were measured in highly viscous-pseudo plastic carboxymethylcellulose aqueous solution. The results were as follows : 1. ?? and ?? increase with increasing gas velocity and decrease with increasing concentration of CMC aqueous solution. 2. ?? and ?? increase with being enlarged diameter ratio of draught tube but specially ?? decreases to some degree in the CMC concentration of 0.05∼0.7wt%. 3. Correlations among various parameters having an influence on ?? and ?? were expressed by Eq. (16) and Eq. (17), respectively. ??

The effect of gas houdup and volumetric liquid-phase mass transfer coeffecient in the bubble coplumn with multiple draft tube were investigated experimentally, according to gas velocity, plate interval and the diameter and plate number of draft tube at 298±0.5K. The gas holdup and volumtric liquid-phase mass transfer coeffecient increased with decreasing the interval of draft tube when the diameter ratio of draft was small but decreased when the diameter ratio of draft tube was large. Also based on these observations, correlation equations of gas holdup and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficients were proposed.

Vacuum-Impulse System을 이용한 백삼엑스의 추출

백삼으로부터 사포닌의 분해없이 추출하는 방법을 연구하기 위하여 진공역적방법과 다중단방법으로 추출하였다. 진공역적 방법으로 추출한 조사포닌의 함량이 5.4∼5.9%이었으며 다중단방식은 8.2∼8.3% 이였다. 사포닌의 분해를 확인하기 위해 HPLC패턴을 보면 진센노사이드 Rgl과 Re의 경우 진공역적방식에서는 사포닌 분해가 거의 없었으나 다중단추출방식은 분해가 심하였다. 맛과 향에서도 종래의 방법보다 우수하였다. This study was carried out to establish the extraction method of white ginseng extract without saponon decomposition. White ginseng was extracted with vacuum-impulse system and multi-stage extraction method. Crude saponin content of white ginseng extract from vacuum-impulse system was 5.4∼5.9%, while that of white ginseng extract from vacuum-impulse extraction method was 8.2∼8.3%. However, HPLC patters indicated that saponins of white ginseng extraction from vacuum-impulse system were hardly decomposed, while those of fresh ginseng extraction from multi-stage extraction method were decomposed, especially in ginsenoside-Rgl and-Re saponin, also, the yields of ginseng by vacuum-impulse.

흰쥐에서 외상성 신경종예방에 대한 연구

Prevention of traumatic neuroma has been the subject of extensive since early in the nineteenth century. Odier described this enlargement which develops at the distal end of proximal segments of peripheral nerves after partial or complete transsection. However, there seems to be no unanimity of opinion regarding the treatments of nerve at the time of severed injury. Ligating the proximal end of such a nerve, implanting it into muscle or born, resecting it, injecting it with a sclerosing agent or capping it with a silicone cuff are commonly used at the present time. Petropoulos introduced a nitrogen mustard as a sclerosing agent to prevent the neuroma. Tupper and Booth reported funniculecomy and epincurial ligation with satisfactory result obtained in many patients. However there is no commonly acceptable method. The authers carried out animal studys to find out the better operative procedure to prevent the traumatic neuroma. The sciatic nerve of the rat was exposed under the operating microscope and resected about 1㎝ from the end of the divied portion. Eighty rats were divided into 4 groups by a technique to differentiate management of the severed proximal nerve ends, that is, a control group, a nitrogen mustard injected group, a epineurial ligation group and a combined group(epineurial ligation following the injection of nitrogen mustard). The wound was closed with 4-0 black silk. Three months later, the wound was reopened and the presence of neuroma was observed grossly and microscopically. The results were as follows : 1) The proximal portion of the severed nerve in the combined group were tapered to the end and neuromas were hardly seen grossly. 2) The diameters of minifascicle and the numbers of nerve fibers of the combined group were the smallest and fewest compared with others(p<0.05). 3) The combined group took only 2 to 3 minutes more than the others, but it was better method. The authors found the superiority of this latter method, epineurial ligation following nitrogen mustard injection in the severed end, compaired with the others.

은행원의 VDT작업에 따른 안자각종상

In order to investigate the effects due to visual display terminal(VDT) work of banking operations, the questionnaire survey for subjective eye symptoms was carried out on 378 bank clerks who had been engaged in VDT work for various length of work hours. The results were as follows: 1. Of the 17 items of questionnaire, the highest percentage was accounted for by 'eye strain' (61.1%),follwed by 'feel pressure in eyes'(33.3%),'eyes feel ache' (26.7%),'eyes feel heavy'(21.4%) and 'blurred vision of objectl'(16.7%) in the order of sequence. 2. The average weighetd score of subjictive eye symptoms was 13.75, 14.39, 16.78 and 13.13 in the age groups of less than 25,25-29, 30-34, and 35-44 years, respectively, it was significantly increased from the age group of less than 25 years to 30-34 years. Also, it was significantly increased according to increasing with work duration. 3. The average weighted score of female was larger than that of male and the score of green color was larger than that of black-white color by the color of cathode ray tube display. 4. Aggravating time of subuective symptioms was during the end of month in period of a month, a monday in a day of week and on duty (P.M.) in a daily work.
