A Study on the Establishment of Destination Image through Mass Media

As the products of mass media, such as drama, movies, and commercial advertisements have grown and entertained us, they induced people to visit the locations where they were filmed. However, little has been known what effects in movies or television-induced locations on tourism. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the products of mass media on tourism through locations induced by dramas, movies, and commercial advertisements. More specially, this study examined the relationships between the perceptions of movies or television-induced affective response, the perceptions of movies or television-induced attributes and movies or television-induced destination images on tourism. Findings suggest that if audiences enjoy delightful movies, they will feel destination images with fun and delightfulness when they visit the location scene. Also, the results suggest that if dramas and movies gain in public favor, the location where they are filmed will become a new and fantastic destination to people.
근막 결손의 복원과 자궁천골인대 고정을 통한 전자궁적출술 후 질탈출의 성공적 교정

목적 : 본 연구는 전자궁적출술 후 질탈출을 부위-특이적인 결함의 개념에 입각하여 치골경부 근막과 직장질 격막의 연결을 통한 골반내 근막의 복원과 자궁천골인대 고정술을 이용한 질탈출의 성공적인 수술적 교정의 방법과 결과를 보고하고자 한다. 연구 방법 : 1999년부터 2001년 8월까지 자궁적출술 후 질궁탈출 증상으로 문화병원 산부인과를 내원, 탈출된 질의 근막을 재건시킨 다음, 이를 자궁천골인대에 고정시킴으로써 질의 부위-특이적인 교정술을 받은 3명의 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 3명중 1명은 개복술을 하였고 2명은 내시경 수술을 하였다. 결과 : 환자의 연령 분포는 49-67세였으며, 수술시간은 평균 113분 (105-125)이었다. 세 환자 모두 수술 후 질의 상태가 해부학 및 기능적으로 정상이었으며, 9일째 특이사항 없이 퇴원하였다. 수술 후 HRT를 시행한 1명을 포함한 3명 모두 각각 24개월, 12개월, 7개월간의 추적 검사에서도 특이한 합병증이나 재발 없이 좋은 경과를 보였다. 결론 : 골반 근막 결손의 복원과 자궁천골인대 고정술은 전자궁적출술 후 질탈출의 교정에 매우 안전하고 효과적이며, 기능적인 방법으로 사료되며, 자궁천골인대를 질탈출 교정에 이용한 연구는 본 연구가 국내에서 처음이다. Objective : To report the method and efficacy of the site specific-defects repair in the endopelvic fascia and uterosacral ligament suspension for the correction of posthysterectomy vaginal vault prolapse. Methods : This study was performed in 3 patients with posthyterectomy vaginal vault prolapse who underwent the surgery for the reconstruction of endopelvic fascia and the correction of vault prolapsed vagina by using uterosacral ligament suspension at the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Moon-Hwa Hospital. Among them, 1 patient was treated by laparotomy, and 2 patients were treated by laparoscope. Results : The age of patients ranged from 49 to 67 years. The mean operation time was 111 minutes (105-120 minutes). The status of postoperative vagina was normal in all 3 patients, who were discharged 9 days after operation without symptoms. No complication or recurrence were found in them despite long-term follow-up for 24 months, 12 months, 7 months, respectively after operation. One patient has been treated with HRT therapy. Conclusion : The reconstruction of the defect of endopelvic fascia and uterosacral ligament fixation may be very safe, effective, and functional in the correction of vaginal vault prolapse. This study reports the treatment of vaginal vault prolapse using uterosacral ligament within Korea for the first time.

Type 2 Diabetes: Endothelial dysfunction and Exercise. JENB., Vol. 18, No. 3, pp.239-247,2014 [Purpose]Vascular endothelial dysfunction is an early marker of atherosclerosis characterized by decreased nitric oxide bioavailability in the vascular endothelium and smooth muscle cells. Recently, some animal models and in vitro trials demonstrated that excessive superoxide production from mitochondria within vascular endothelial cells played a role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis in type 2 diabetes. This review provides a systematic assessment of the effectiveness of exercise to identify effective approaches to recognize diabetes risk and prevent progression to heart disease. [Methods]A systematic literature search was conducted to retrieve articles from 1979 to 2013 using the following databases: the MEDLINE, PubMed. Articles had to describe an intervention that physical activity and exercise to identify effective approaches to heart in people with Type 2 diabetes. [Results]Currently, physical activity and exercise guidelines aimed to improve cardiovascular health in patients with type 2 diabetes are nonspecific. Benefit of aerobic exercise training on vascular endothelial function in type 2 diabetic patients is still controversial. [Conclusion]it is necessary to demonstrate the mechanism of endothelial dysfunction from live human tissues so that we can provide more specific exercise training regimens to enhance cardiovascular health in type 2 diabetic patients. Background: TNF-a converting enzyme (TACE) regulates the release of TNF-a and EGFR ligands. Recently, inactive rhomboid protein 2 (iRhom2) was identifi ed as essential for TACE maturation in immune cells. In contrast, iRhom1 was necessary for TACE maturation in other cells. The aim of the study was to investigate roles of iRhom1/2 for TACE maturation in infi ammatory bowel disease (IBD).Methods: Colonic epithelial cells, COLO205, and murine macrophage, RAW264.7, were stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and the expressions of iRhom1/2 and TACE were evaluated by RT-PCR and Western blot. For in vivo models, DSS-treatedand IL-10 defi cient mice were used as acute and chronic colitis, respectively. Colonoscopic biopsy was performed in patients with IBD. The expressions of iRhom1/2 and TACE were determined by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry in both murine modelsand IBD patients. Double immunofi uorescence staining of iRhom2 and F4/80 was performed in DSS colitis model to defi ne cells expressing iRhom2. Results: In LPS-stimulated COLO205 and RAW264.7, the mRNA and protein expressionsof iRhom1/2 and TACE were up-regulated, and the iRhom2 expressions in RAW264.7 were higher than those in COLO205. In acute and chronic murine colitis, the mRNA expressions of iRhom1/2 and TACE were higher than those in controls. For IBD patients, the iRhom1/2 and TACE mRNA expressions increased compared to healthy controls. In both murine colitis and IBD patients, immunohistochemical analysis revealed the increased expression of iRhom2 of infi ammatory cells in lamina propria and submucosa. In contrast, the iRhom1 expression was low in infi ammatory cells. The double immunofi uorescence staining showed that cells highly expressing iRhom2 were macrophages. Conclusions: iRhom2 may play a critical role for TACE maturation and TNF-a secretion in immune cells of colitis, which suggests that iRhom2 could be a novel target for the treatment of IBD.

Backgrounds/Aims: There are few guidelines for tailored immunosuppressive regimens for liver transplantation (LT) recipients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). To establish long-term immunosuppressive regimens suitable for Korean adult LT recipients, we analyzed those that were currently in use at a single high-volume institution. Methods: This cross-sectional study comprises three parts including review of the immunosuppressive regimens used to manage 2,147 adult LT outpatients, review of LT recipients who were diagnosed of HCC at LT, and review of LT recipients who suffered from HCC recurrence. Results: In 1,000 adult LT recipients who were living more than 5 years with no adverse events, 916 received a calcineurin inhibitor (CNI)-based therapy (CNI only in 520; CNI with mycophenolate mofetil [MMF] in 396) and 84 were receiving an MMF-based therapy (MMF only in 45; MMF with minimal CNI in 39). Tacrolimus was preferred over cyclosporine for both monotherapy and combination therapy along the passage of posttransplant period. There was no difference in selection of immunosuppressants, target blood concentration, and rate of combination therapy between LT recipients with and without HCC, except for the first 1 year. Sirolimus-based regimens were applied in 21 patients who showed HCC recurrence. Sorafenib was often used after conversion to sirolimus. Conclusions: Tailored immunosuppressive regimen covering the long-term posttransplant period should be established after consideration of individualized patient profiles including HCC.

DW2282,(S)-(+)-4-phenyl-1-[1-(4-aminobenzoyl)-indoline-5-sulfonyl]-4,5-dihydro-2-imidazolone hydrochloride, is a new anticancer agent which is thought to exhibit a characteristic mechanism of action in the inhibition of tumor growth. In this study, we estimated the toxicities of DW2282 in mice. When mice were orally dosed for five consecutive days at the dosages of 50, 100 and 150 mg/kg, DW2282 did not induced methemoglobinemia and hypoglycemia at any of these doses. However, increased ALT and AST values were observed in the 150 mg/kg dosing group, and white blood cells (WBC) were significantly decreased at all doses. However, the changes in WBC count, ALT and AST immediately reversed after the cessation of drug administration. In addition, we found that DW2282 did not cause an increase in hemolysis in human blood. Taken together, these data suggested that DW2282 may have a relatively low level of toxicity, and that there may be a quick recovery from any toxicity it dose produce.
