With the growing traffic density and increasing comfort requirements, the automation of the drive train will gain<br/> importance in vehicles. The automatic clutch actuation relieves the drivers especially in urban driving and stop & go traffic conditions. In this paper, an electro- mechanical actuator for clutch-by-wire(CBW) system is implemented as the first stage for the development of automated manual transmissions. The prototype of CBW actuator is designed systematically, which is composed of the electric motor, worm & worm wheel and crank mechanism. And the rig tester is developed to perform the basic function test for the automatic clutch actuation The developed prototype is validated from the experimental results employing the rig tester.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to analyze the corrective effect of the general coordinative manipulation (GCM) joint intervention model on distort leg with imbalance of the lower extremity joints, pelvic and shoulder girdles, and lumbar spine. Methods : The study used a comparative analysis of the size of the distort leg and the imbalance of the lower extremity joints, pelvic and shoulder girdles, and lumbar spine before and after the application of the GCM joint intervention model. A total of 31 subjects from movement center G and the department of physical therapy at university M were selected as research subjects, and they were divided into two groups. The GCM joint intervention model was applied to 18 subjects in the bow knee group and 13 subjects in the knock knee group. The two groups received daily intervention three times a week for four weeks. The corrective effect of the GCM joint intervention model for each type of distort leg was compared and analyzed. Results : The effects of the GCM joint intervention model in correcting bow knee and knock knee with knee deformation and imbalance of the lower extremity joints, pelvic and shoulder girdles, and lumbar spine were significant in most domains (p<.05). The correlation between the bow knee and knock knee groups showed significance in most domains (p<.05). Conclusion : The GCM joint intervention model showed significant corrective effect in the bow knee and knock knee groups in terms of knee deformation, lower extremity joints, pelvic and shoulder girdles, and lumbar spine (p<.05).

Surface swelling caused by He implantation was studied for newly-developed Ti/Ta-added reduced-activation ferritic/martensitic (RAFM) steels. Post-implantation annealing at 623 K for 2 h of He-implanted RAFM-steel samples led to surface-step formation because of surface swelling induced by He bubbles formed inside the samples. Pre-implantation of a small number of H ions was found to cause an increase in the surface-step height, which was not expected. A possible mechanism for this synergistic effect of pre-implanted H is proposed.
PLLA- block-PMMA 공중합수지의 합성 및 이를 포함하는 PLA 이축연신 필름의 특성

In the study, PLLA with 12,000 g/mol (Mn) and 14,000 g/mol (Mw) was synthesized from L-lactide, and used to synthesize PLLA-Br intermediate. PLLA-block-PMMA with 84,000 g/mol (Mn) and 126,000 g/mol (Mw) was finally synthesized from PLLA-Br intermediate. The glass transition temperature (Tg) and initial pyrolysis temperature of PLLA-block-PMMA are 95.5 ℃ and 289 ℃, respectively. The PLA film of 50 ± 3 μm thickness was prepared by blending PLA with 9 phr PLLA-block-PMMA followed by stretching biaxially at 3 times under 95 ℃, and annealing at 120 ℃ for 2 min. The light transmittance at 550 nm and tensile strength of the film are 88.5% and 44.5 MPa, respectively. To enhance the tensile strength of PLA film, it was required to keep the film more than 2 min at 120 ℃ during the annealing step after abiaxially orientation.
Topological phase transitions in line-nodal superconductors

<P>Fathoming interplay between symmetry and topology of many-electron wave functions has deepened our understanding of quantum many-body systems, particularly after the discovery of topological insulators. Topology of electron wave functions often enforces and protects emergent gapless excitation, and symmetry is intrinsically tied to the topological protection of the excitations. Namely, unless the symmetry is broken, the topological nature of the excitations is intact. We show intriguing phenomena of interplay between symmetry and topology in three-dimensional topological phase transitions associated with line-nodal superconductors. More specifically, we discover an exotic universality class out of topological line-nodal superconductors. The order parameter of broken symmetries is strongly correlated with underlying line-nodal fermions, and this gives rise to a large anomalous dimension in sharp contrast to that of the Landau-Ginzburg theory. Remarkably, hyperscaling violation and emergent relativistic scaling appear in spite of the presence of nonrelativistic fermionic excitation. We also propose characteristic experimental signatures around the phase transitions, for example, a linear phase boundary in a temperature-tuning parameter phase diagram, and discuss the implication of recent experiments in pnictides and heavy-fermion systems.</P>
