        Promotional Strategies of Local Drugstores

        The retail business of drugstore was introduced to Korea for the first time 10 years ago. Since Olive Young introduced a retail store in the name of drugstore in 1999 for the first time in Korea, new distribution channel combining drugstore, cosmetic products and dairy products, etc has been made. At initial stage, the new distribution channel grew up slowly because of low specialty and economic stagnation. However, the three big distribution channels, that is to say, Olive Young (CJ), Watsons (GS) and W Store (Kolon Well Care), etc, were established to produce new distribution system following large-scaled discount stores as well as convenience stores. The purpose of the study is to investigate ways making Korean style drugstore be new retail business in addition to traditional markets, department stores, E-Mart and other general super markets and to examine problems preventing the drugstore from being promoted and to find out solutions. The speciality retailers that is called a category killer attacking department stores as well as marts is expanding market quickly. New consumption trend that gives priority to wellbeing is being expanded in accordance with high level of standards of living life: The drugstore is thought to be new alternative of distribution because it keeps special products. Young ladies who are main customers of drugstores respond to the trend sensitively to have more buying power that is thought to be promising. And, consumers' desire has become concrete and special. This is because consumers want not only convenient shopping but also special shopping system that is current trend. These days, so called Multi-shop and Total shop and other special shops have been recently opened. Special multi-shop has been concentrated on fashion product and miscellaneous goods so far: Health total wellbeing shop shall be popular in accordance with wellbeing trends.         재무역량 분석을 통한 국내 통신산업 수익원 변화 연구

        본 논문의 목적은 정보통신기술의 눈부신 발전에 따른 통신사업에서의 수익원의 변화를 재무제표 분석을 통해 살펴봄으로서 객관성과 신뢰성을 확보하여 정보이용자에게 유용한 정보를 제공하는데 있다. 연구 결과 KT를 제외한 타 유선사업자의 건전성은 이통사업자의 건전성보다 저조한 것으로 분석되었으며, KT, SK텔레콤, LG텔레콤의 유동성은 점차 좋아진 반면, 하나로통신의 유동성은 악화도고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 두루넷의 경우는 호전은 되고 있었지만 타 사업자보다 월등히 저조하게 분석되었다. 수익성 역시 SK텔레콤이 가장 양호한 것으로 분석되었으며, 두루넷·하나로통신이 가장 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 성장성은 이통사업자와 두루넷이 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 활동성은 유선사업자에서는 두루넷, 이통사업자에서는 SK텔레콤의 활동성이 활발한 것으로 분석되었다. 이상과 같은 분석결과를 토대로 유선통신서비스에서 무선통신서비스로의 수익원이 변하고 있음을 알 수가 있다. 급변하는 통신시장에서 수익원의 변화를 신뢰성있는 재무자료를 이용하여 분석한 본 연구결과는 통신사업자 및 정보 이용자들의 경제적 의사결정시 객관적인 자료로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.

        재무비율을 통한 통신사업자의 경영환경 분석에 관한 연구

        본 논문의 목적은 정보통신기술의 발전에 따른 국내외 통신사업자의 재무구조 및 수익구조변화를 재무비율분석을 통해 국내외 통신사업자의 경영환경변화를 분석하고 이에 대한 대응 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 연구 결과 KT의 건전성 지수는 국외 통신사업자들과 비교해 볼 때 양호한 것으로 나타났으며, 유동성 지수는 대부분 양호하나, 경상수지비율은 최고치 보다 43% 낮게 분석되었다. 수익성 지수는 해외사업자들 보다 대부분 높게 나타났으나 성장성 지수에서는 타 통신사업자들보다 감소 폭이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 활동성 지수는 KT의 총자본회전율은 타 통신사업자들과 비교해 볼 때 보통수준이었으나 자기자본 회전율은 밑돌고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 급변하는 통신경영환경에 있어서 국내 통신사업자가 현 위치를 조명하고 적절한 대응책을 마련하는데 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

      • 순무(Brassica campestris ssp. rapa) 뿌리로부터 지질화합물의 분리 및 동정

        순무 뿌리로부터 활성 물질을 분리 동정 하기 위하여 80% MeOH 수용액으로 추출하고 이를 여과, 감압 농축하여 MeOH추출물을 얻었다. 이를 EtOAc분획, n-BuOH분획, H_(2)O분획으로 나누었으며, EtOAc분획에 대해 silica gel column chromatography를 실시하여 3종의 지질화합물을 분리 정제하였다. ^(1)H-NMR, ^(13)C-NMR, DEPT spectrum 및 Mass spectrum등을 통하여 palmitic acid methyl ester(compound 1), linolenic acid methyl ester(compound 2), linoleic acid methyl ester(compound 3)으로 구조를 결정하였다. In order to isolate and identify the active compound from the Brassica campestris ssp rapa, the roots and the root skin were extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH, and the concentrated extract was partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH and H_(2)O. From the EtOAc fraction, three compounds were isolated through the repeated silica gel column chromatographies. From the result of spectral data including NMR and MS, the chemical structures of the compound were determined as palmitic acid methyl ester (compound 1), linolenic acid methyl ester (compound 2), linoleic acid methyl ester (compound 3).

      • 강화 특화작목 지표물질의 함량 분석

        강화 특화작목의 건강기능성 식품 제품화의 가능성을 타진하고 재배작물의 표준화 연구를 위해 사자발쑥, 싸주아리쑥 그리고 순무에 대해 총 폴리페놀과 총 플라보노이드 함량을 측정하였다. 총 폴리페놀 함량은 사자발쑥이 9.5mg/g, 싸주아리쑥이 7.4mg/g, 순무가 1.8mg/g으로 총 플라보노이드 함량은 사자발쑥이 4.3mg/g, 싸주아리쑥이 3.6mg/g, 순무가 0.4mg/g으로 확인 되었다. 또한 강화 약쑥의 유효지표성분인 eupatilin과 jaceosidin이 사자발쑥에는 각각 208mg/100g, 118mg/100g, 싸주아리쑥에는 199mg/100g, 111mg/100g 함유된 것을 HPLC를 통해 확인하였다. This study was conducted to investigate the contents of total polyphenol and total flavonoid of three Ganghwa indigenous crops, two varieties of Artemisia princeps Pampanini (Sajabalssuk, Sajuarissuk) and Brassica campestris ssp rapa. Total polyphenol and total flavonoid contents of Sajabalssuk were 9.5 and 4.3 mg/g, those of Sajuarissuk were 7.4 and 3.6 mg/g, those of B. campestris ssp rapa were 1.8 and 0.4 mg/g, respectively. The contents of eupatilin and jaceosidin in A. princeps Pampanini which were calculated by HPLC, were determined 208 mg/100g, 118 mg/100g in Sajabalssuk and 199 mg/100g, 111 mg/100g in Sajuarissuk, respectively.

        Global Distribution Enterprises' Entry into the Chinese Market: Focus on the Three Northeastern Provinces

        enterprises' entry into the Chinese market. By studying Korean companies’ strategy and current situation in the Chinese retail market and analyzing Lotte Mart’s strategy, this study was aimed at identifying comprehensive strategies for Korean companies striving to expand in China’s retail market. Research design, data, and methodology - A case study approach is used, focusing on the three northeastern provinces in China, and examining global firms' entry into the Chinese market. The study employed a direct survey and a literature review. Results - Korean distribution firms' entry into the overseas market is in the inception stage and it should be developed, considering its effects on the national economy and other industries. Conclusion - The cases of E-mart and Lotte Mart, representing Korean distribution firms, showed that they should not rely on scale to succeed in China. Both preliminary analysis and careful strategies are required to ensure success. Considering the high growth potential of the Chinese market, a management strategy that takes account of Chinese people's emotions was needed.

In particular, Olive Young succeeded in going into the black after making efforts for a long time by many persons. Drugstores could succeed in the business owing to many persons in the past as well as customers who liked drugstores. However, drugstores once lost ways and recorded poor business results. The three drugstores, that is to say, Olive Young, Watsons making efforts to go into the black and W-Store pursuing traditional drugstore shall compete each other and make effort to satisfy customers' desire. In that way, the three drugstores can be assured of present business as well as future business. The consumers' demand trend has become special at sub-division so that drugstores that can satisfy the demand can succeed in the business. Large businesses may be more interested in the 4th generation retail business to produce good income and to have bright future. Drugstore business and market are likely to expand and develop owing to large business' participation in drugstore business. Drugstores expanded shop at Seoul and Gyeonggi-do until middle of 2000. Drugstore business at station sphere in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do that have high ratio of temporary population has low customer loyalty to have limitation on continuous growth. Since 2009, drugstores have opened new shops at local towns: From the year of 2010, drugstores need to establish multiple shop strategy by accelerating business speed and to allow customers to drop in the shop anywhere in the nation and to enter consumers' life deeply, so that they can strengthen business base definitely. Drugstores need to have price competitiveness to have multiple shop opening strategy and to satisfy consumers and to supply high quality services that is future subject to solve. And, Olive Young and Watsons that are Korean style drugstore need to keep system in order and to strengthen substance as Korean style drugstore and to expand marketing, so that they can get business outcome within 5 years that was done 10 years before
