        연구보문 : 자연과학 ; 황산처리에 의한 불투수성 황근 종자의 발아촉진에 관한 연구

        The reason of poor germination rate of hamabo mallow seed was speculated using TZ test to determine the viability of seed. Seeds showed high viability via TZ test were not germinated well. The quiescent seeds did not imbibed properly due to the hard seed coat and did not show further processes required for germination. Several well-known treatments for seed coat loosening and water uptake into seed were applied and compared for their efficiency. Stratification, hot water treatment, seed coat scarification, wet-cold treatment were revealed as less effective for improving germination although those treatments were common method for breaking dormant seed. Chemical scarification with sulfuric acid, however, effectively increased germinability and promptness index of hamabo mallow seeds. Optimal time for sulfuric acid treatment was 20 min. Seeds treated for 20 min showed improved germination percentage, germination speed, and promptness index of 80%, 13, and 1969 at 30 days after imbibition, respectively, in petri dish experiment. The values were greater than control seeds showed low values (12%, 1, and 183, respectively). The similar tendency was observed in the pot experiment that sulfuric acid treated seed were sown in artificially mixed soil (loamy soil:peatmoss:sand:compost = 5:2:2:1) and placed in greenhouse. Ultrastructure analysis of chemically scarified seed with sulfuric acid for 20 min by scanning electron microscopy did not show any noticeable changes in seed coat hardness and water uptake via hilum. But the only change after sulfuric acid treatment was removal of hilum cap that close the hilum and hider imbibition. Therefore, subsequent experiment was conducted to know the relationship between removal of hilum cap and facilitated imbibition by sulfuric acid treatment and whether the hilum cap removal directly influenced to the opening of micropyle. Water uptake velocity of seed treated for 20 min in concentrated sulfuric acid for was greater than control seed. This result implies that the crucial effect of sulfuric acid treatment is the removal of hilum cap that increase water uptake via micropyle in hamabo mallow.

        The relationship between aerobic capacity and the recruitment of activated sweat gland density with passive heating

        This study investigated whether the recruitment of activated sweat gland density during passive heating [immersion of the lower body into hot water, 41℃ for 30 min (PH), room temperature 23 ± 0.5℃ with 60 ± 3% relative humidity] is different in endurance-trained (Trainee), compared with that of untrained subjects (Control), as indicated by VO2max. Eight trainees and seven control female subjects (38.31 ± 4.91 ml·kg-1·min-1 and 31.8 ± 0.92 ml·kg-1·min-1, respectively, p < 0.01) were similar on all other physical characteristics. To compare the changes between the trainees and controls, serum cortisol and prolactin (PRL), tympanic temperature (TYMP), local activated sweat gland density (L-ASGD) and the mean whole body sweat loss volume (M-WBSLV) changes were measured after PH. The cortisol was significantly higher (p < 0.05) and the PRL tended to be higher in the Trainee than in the Control. The TYMP increased more in the Trainee than in the Control (p < 0.001). The L-ASGD showed a higher tendency in the Trainee than in the Control, there was a significant difference in the mean activated sweat gland density (p < 0.01) and the L-ASGD was significantly correlated with the VO2max (p < 0.001). The M-WBSLV was significantly higher in the Trainee (p < 0.001) and significantly correlated with the VO2max (p < 0.001). The results suggest that in humans, a high aerobic capacity is associated with a greater recruitment of activated sweat glands, whole body loss of volume and TYMP. Therefore, the decline in the heat loss responses, due to decrease in maximal oxygen consumption, may be masked by repeated endurance exercise training.

        This paper presents the method to apply ZigBee communication technologies to existing telemetry. ZigBee communications aim at low power consumption wireless communication. Telemetry is become more efficient by taking advantage of ZigBee communication. We measured the basic capacity of battery. And through the study of using more efficient electric power we study the implementation methods of telemetry to be able to communicate based on ZigBee for a long time.

        Recently, our construction industry is using various work sections classification systems for civil engineering projects. However, because the public IDB(Integrated DataBase) for the work sections is insufficiently built, it is difficult to connect construction operation information from construction site to standard specification or standard method of measurment. Therefore, this study suggests a methodology to link the construction work sections information, such as cost, schedule, drawings and specification, with civil engineering standard method of measurement. And the methodology suggested in this study was applied to a web-based work sections information management system with IDB. An IDB modeling was designed by using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram).

        The thermal decomposition process of Mo(CO)_6 on chemical vapor deposition was investigated by analyzing the effects of deposition temperature, pressure, and reaction gas on the phase change of deposited films. Mo_2C was deposited at or below 350℃ due to the incompleteness of thermal decomposition of Mo(CO)_6, but Mo films was successfully deposited at 400℃ or higher temperatures. The variation of deposition pressure did not change the dependence of decomposition process on deposition temperature. The activation energy of surface reaction was 5.8 ㎉/mole.

        The computerization is an important factor for scientific construction management. Con-struction management softwares are being widely used for computerizing project control and scheduling. The code systems in those softwares enable various classifications of con-struction information such as filtering, sorting and grouping, and facilitate easy appli-cation of computer system. This study analyzes the code systems of three softwares, which are representatively used in the construction sites, through a comparative analysis for the applicability in construction management. Finally the study suggests a desirable structure of code system and a selection criterion of software to improve the applicability of construction management softwares in the construction sites.

        The current trend of If (Information Technology) in 21st century demands management innovation, that is Business Process Reengineering (BPR) in all the industry including construction project. The solution of its demand is proposed by IT based on Internet. And also, in order to meet this objective, from 1997 domestic construction industry is accelerating to systematize CALS (Continuous Acquisition and Life-cycle Support) which is being planned to apply by government. These efforts give much weight to build computer systems rather than to improve and redesign construction business process that is more important for system application. This research develops a model for applying the BPR to construction industry, especially construction site that is a base to build a system for CALS. And the research suggests performing method, process and modeling technique of BPR to be applicable in business process redesign of construction field. Also, focusing on the research of execution step of business in construction site will be helpful for the site worker to perform BPR in construction site.

      • Fast and Scalable Hydrodynamic Synthesis of MnO<sub>2</sub>/Defect-Free Graphene Nanocomposites with High Rate Capability and Long Cycle Life

        <P>The integration of metal oxides and carbon materials provides a great potential for enhancing the high energy and power densities of supercapacitors, but the rational design and scalable fabrication of such composite materials still remain a challenge. Herein, we report a fast, scalable, and one-pot hydrodynamic synthesis for preparing ion conductive and defect-free graphene from graphite and MnO<SUB>2</SUB>/graphene nanocomposites. The use of this hydrodynamic method using Taylor-Couette flow allows us to efficiently fast shear-exfoliate graphite into large quantities of high-quality graphene sheets. Deposition of MnO<SUB>2</SUB> on graphene is subsequently performed in a fluidic reactor within 10 min. The prepared MnO<SUB>2</SUB>/graphene nanocomposite shows outstanding electrochemical performances, such as a high specific capacitance of 679 F/g at 25 mV/s, a high rate capability of 74.7% retention at an extremely high rate of 1000 mV/s, and an excellent cycling characteristic (∼94.7% retention over 20 000 cycles). An asymmetric supercapacitor device is fabricated by assembling an anode of graphene and a cathode of MnO<SUB>2</SUB>/graphene, which resulted in high energy (35.2 W h/kg) and power (7.4 kW/kg) densities (accounting for the mass of both electrodes and the electrolyte) with a high rate capability and long cycle life.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

      • 경호상황에서 태권도기법의 적용방법에 관한 연구

        This study shows how to apply Taekwondo as a Protectional Martial Art Generally every learning territory is divided into cultural and social science and natural science. In the same manner, the study of guarding should be broken into parts so as to make the most of guarding characteristics. I think that Protection Martial Art will develop in learning because it can motivate Taekwondo participants to study it. I will attempt to show a developing study of Taekwondo as a Protection Martial Art. A Guard is a final method in which deals with each kind of threats. The timing, the place and the way of attempt to inflict an injury is decided by the attactor. The situation of attact is also has many variables. If there isn't a Guard Martial Art or the bodyguard is irresolute, it is difficult to control the attactor. Therefore, the ultimate aim of Protection Martial Art is not only to protect a guarded person from danger through complete training, but also facing an attact and controling it effectively. In order to insure the guarded person's life from the harmer, the bodyguard has to perform his duty from a high degree of training. So training in Protection Martial Art is a necessary condition. When the bodyguard faces an attact and deals with it, he has to grasp and meet the situation - the environment, the direction and the way of attact. Also recognize the a kind of weapon, the attactor's skill and ability and so on. A high degree of guard technics and Guard Martial Art is essential to face and deal with an attact. Owing to establish Protection Martial Art systematically, this shows how to apply Taekwondo training technics to Protection Martial Art and how to deal with a situation of guarding in the event of attact by using basic technics from Taekwondo. First, by studying the system of Protection Martial Art based on Taekwondo, I developed Taekwondo training technics as a Protection Martial Art. Second, "Stance posture" should be neat and sharp. I intend to show the posture-"Parallel Stance"- which is easy to offend and defend in every direction. Moreover it is more developed than it was. Third, I show a desirable "Stance posture" as a guard's position, so that the guard can deal with the dangerous situation promptly and properly. Fourth, I try to show the way how to control an accidental occurance by using a based action and an applied action from Taekwondo as a guard technic. Therefore, I think that the system of Protection Martial Art based on Taekwondo should be studied and Taekwondo should be established as a Protectional martial art. Training Taekwondo as a Protectional martial art enables one to handle any unexpected situation by mastering its theory and basic skills. I consider that we should practice Taekwondo technics through a real model to deal with various dangerous situations.
