      • 운동선수의 「흥분」 현상의 발생원인에 관한 구조 분석

        The purpose of this study was to investigate causal attributions of "excitement" experiences in athletes. The questionnaire was consisted of competitive events and levels, level of "excitement", causal attributions of "excitement", public self-consciousness and social anxiety. Out of a total 370 athletes, 356 athletes(288 male students and 68 female students) filled out the questionnaire completely and were included in subsequent analysis. The main findings are summarized as follows. 1) A factor analysis of their responses (causal attributions of "excitement") revealed six factors: "worry about failure", "pressure of responsibility", "unfamiliarity of game situations", "personality traits", "insufficiency" and "other awareness". 2) The relationship between competitive events and 6 factors of causal attributions were not found significantly in this study. But only in performance type event(gymnastics and rhythmic sportive gymnastics), the factor of "other awareness" scored higher than those of other competitive events. 3) In 4 factors of causal attributions: "unfamiliarity of game situations", "personality traits", "insufficiency" and "other awareness", the athletes of national level scored lower than those of district level, and municipal level. However, in "pressure of responsibility" the athletes of national level scored higher than others. 4) Between athletic years(over 10 years and under 10 years), the athletes for over 10 years showed significantly lower scores than those of under 10 years in all of factors. 5) The higher the athlete's levels of "excitement" was, the higher his or her public self-consciousness and social anxiety were.

      • 암환자를 위한 김치의 개발 : 1. 김치레시피조절에 의한 항돌연변이효과 증진연구 1. Studies on Enhancing Antimutagenic Effect of Kimchi by Changing the Recipe

        To develop kimchi for cancer patient, we studied on enhancing antimutagenic effect of kimchi by manipulating the recipe from the result of prevalence test on kimchi by cancer patients. According to the result of prevalence test, the patients wanted to reduce the level of red pepper powder and increase some sub-ingredients such as garlic and mustard compared to the standardized kimchi. The recipe-manipulated kimchi was fermented at 15℃ for 1 day and then ripened at 5℃ for several days up to pH 4.2~4.3. The antimutagenic effect of the methanol extracts of the kimchi was evaluated by using Ames mutagenicity test with Salmonella typhimurium TA100. Among the kimchi samples, CP_2-M kimchi (2.5% red pepper powder +7.5% mustard leaf added kimchi) exhibited higher inhibitory effect on the mutagenicity induced by aflatoxin B_1 in the Ames test. In vivo supravital staining micronucleus assay, anticlastogenic effect of the CP_2-M kimchi group was higher than that of the control group. The induction of chromosome aberration by mitomycin C was significantly suppressed by CP_2-M kimchi suggesting in post-treatment.

      • 고춧가루내의 고추씨 함량이 김치발효와 항돌연변이 활성에 미치는 영향

        The fermentation characteristics such as pH, acidity, lactic acid bacterial counts and panel taste of kimchi, and antimutagenic activity of kimchi were studied when the kimchi prepared with different ratio of seed (S) pericarp (P) in red pepper powder and fermented at 15℃. The pHs of P:S = 9:1 kimchi and P:S = 7:3 kimchi decreased gradually during the kimchi fermentation, however, pHs of P:S = 5:5 kimchi and P:S = 3:7 kimchi decreased very fast during the fermentation. The counts of Leuconostoc sp were high in P:S = 9:1 kimchi and P:S = 7:3 kimchi but the levels were low in P:S = 5:5 kimchi and P:S = 3:7 kimchi. Whereas Lactobacillus sp counts were low in P:S = 9:1 kimchi and P:S = 7:3 kimchi, but the counts were high in P:S = 5:5 kimchi and P:S = 3:7 kimchi during the fermentation. P:S = 3:7 kimchi showed the highest prevalence in the panel taste of the kimchis and the P:S = 3:7 kimchi resulted in the lowest prevalence. The antimutagenic activities of the kimchi juices were studied by Ames test using Salmonella typhimurium TA100 and SOS chromotest using E. coil PQ37. As the ratio of the seed increased, the antimutagenicities increased. Among the kimchi samples, P:S = 5:5 kimchi significantly reduced (p<0.05) the mutagenicities induced by aflatoxin B_1(AFB_1) in Ames test and SOS response against N-methy1-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) in SOS chromotest. From the results of the experiments, the P:S = 7:3 kimchi seems to be the best seed ratio of red pepper powder for the preparation of kimchi in terms of fermentation characteristics and antimutagenicity of the kimchi.

        국제기구 및 외국에서 농산물중 농약잔류 허용기준의 설정절차

        This study was undertaken to find out necessary measures to improve the tolerance setting system of pesticide residues on food crops in Korea which is scientifically reasonable and harmonizable with international standards. Information on tolerance setting systems of pesticide residues by Codex Alimentarius Commission, Joint FAO/WHO Meeting of Experts on Pesticide Residues, USA, EU, Japan and Taiwan was collected and analyzed. On the basis of information in the above countries, necessary actions to be taken by the Korean regulatory authorities were recommended with respect to priority setting, maximum residue limits (MRLs) setting based on field residue data, group MRLs, minor crop problems, quantitation limit and dietary intake assessment.

        The aim of this study was to consider the burn out issue, one of the most serious problems in sports, through the actual examples of people who has high performance goal(PG) tendency and, did not snow helpless responses nor stop working for a nest goal in spite of losing an important game after hard efforts. The result of the investigation, which is conducted by questionnaire, are as follows : Players who did not show the helpless response were more affirmative to their process and results, and furthermore, the players who were given a chance to play showed the same tendency remarkably. The result indicated the importance of a coach to utilize daily training and to encourage players' motivation without negative actions such as to 'change one's cognition from PG to LG(Learning Goal)' or 'take competitive environment away from players'.

      • Duchenne형 進行性 筋異養症 保因者 檢出에 Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism 이용에 관한 硏究

        We performed genetic analysis for detection of carrier state of Duchenne's muscular dystrophy (DMD). As genetic markers of the disorder, We used DNA-sequence polymorphisms detected with 6 different DNA probes derived from the vicinity of the DMD locus at genetic distance less than 15 cmo or from within the gene. on the short arm of X chromosome. In the family we studied. a consultand was a 29 years old woman whose maternal grandfather was a DMD patient who was unavailable. Therefore, all of her maternal aunts were DMD carriers whose next generations were requested for DNA studies. On the basis of linkage analysis. a proband and her niece were deemed to be unaffected with an accuracy of more than 99%, and we anticipated another two femals and one malt to be unaffected with 98% probability (normal serum creatine kinase level) where crossover events between intragenic(pERT 87.30) and flanking probes(pXUT23) were detected. but carrire risk of a female with the same haplotype was elevated to 41% taking account of an increased serum creatine kinase level. Two other females were predicted to be affected with 99.9 and 97.1% probabilities each. However. a genetic interpretation was impossible for one male in which a crossover breakpoint could not be determinied because of his mother's homozygosity of the alleles between crossovered alleles where hitherto pessibility of intragenic crossover could not be ruled out Our experience suggests that genetic diagnosis based on recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid techniques are assuming increasing importance. and provide a highly accurate method for carrier detection and prenatal diagnosis of DMD. By the way, despite the large number of intragenic and flanking DNA polymorhpisms available, uncertainties often remain in the genetic diagnosis of DMD. Pitfalls are presented by the large size of the region in which Duchenne's mutations can occur. Crossover events in this region. especially intragenic ones, which result in an exchange of DNA between two X chromosomes, can,rener DNA-marker studies inaccurate.

Linear MUD includes decorrelator, MMSE, LMS, RLS. Nonlinear MUD has SIC, PIC, DFD, this paper compared and evaluated performance of MUD'S features and confirmed that Blind MUD is used without training sequence.

      • SPME와 GC/MS를 이용한 녹나무 향기성분 특성분석

        Recently, land managers have come to realize that, outside Asia, camphor trees grow like street-tree or weeds, infesting forests and displacing native trees. This is because camphor trees are prolific seed producers that do not have serious predators or diseases outside their native range. The camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora), belongs to lauraceae, is the aromatic evergreen tree from which camphor was derived. Headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and GC-MS were applied for the analysis of volatile fragrances emanated from camphor tree. Divinylbenzene / Carboxen / PDMS fiber was used for HS-SPME adsorption materials. (+)-Camphor (31.00%) and cineol (21.89%) were found as the major volatile aroma components from Chinese camphor tree, whereas (+)-camphor (62.06%) and β-caryophyllene (10.01%) from Japanese camphor tree. Camphor tree is a promising garden tree for well-being.

        장기간 훈련이 임피던스 심장기록법에 의한 운동중 심근산소소비량 및 좌심실 기능에 미치는 영향

        Impedance cardiography gas been used to measure stroke volume and left ventricular ejection time since 196's and the measuring technique have been improved to use during exercise. However, the old technique made impedance recording unreadable due to motion artifacts during exercise. Recently, ensemble averaging technique with elastic meshed brass band was applied to it for eliminating motion artifact during exercise. Then, it was used to compare the cardiac function between athletes and non-athletes during bicycle ergometer exercise. The results are summarized as follows. 1) Heart rate of the athletes was significantly lower during exercise and more rapidly recovered after exercise that that of the non-athletes. Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the athletes was lower than those of the non-athletes. 2) Rate-pressure product(RPP) showing myocardial O_2 consumption of the athletes was significantly lower than that of the non-athletes. 3) Left ventricular ejection time(LVET) of the athletes was significantly longer than that of the non-athletes. 4) Cardiac index(CI) of the athletes was significantly higher than that of the non-athletes. While CI of the athletes was continuously increased up to 18 minutes during exercise, that of the non-athletes was increased up to 15 minutes and then decreased at 18 minutes. 5) At the same LVET and RRP, CI of the athletes was significantly higher than that of the non-athlethes. 6) Correlations between LVET and RPP, RPP and CI, LVET and CI during exercise, there was no significant difference between athletes and non-athletes. From these results above, it is concluded that the cardiac function of the athletes is superior to that of the non-athletes by comparing all the parameters. This newly improved impedance cardiography was able to measure LVET and cardiac index, noninvasively, and is expected to contribute to the study for evaluating the cardiac function of the athletes during exercise as well as that of the patients in cardiac problems.
