This study compared and analyzed the time-records between two books that is, the best new world record book issued by I.A.A.F and the track and field record book issued by A.T.F.S by using the regression and ratio-increasing method. Two books consist of the world records and the annual world records, respectively. This study aims to predict how the 2000-year world record and the annual world record would be changed. Based on the analysis, time recorded of 2000 year 100m race would be predicted as follows; 1. Men's world record was estimated to 9.68 seconds (regression method), and 9.66 seconds (ratio-increasing method). And annual world record was estimated to 9.75 seconds (regression method), and to 9.74 seconds (ratio-increasing method), respectively. 2. Women's world record was estimated to 10.34 seconds (regression method) and 10.14 seconds (ratio-increasing method). And annual world record was estimated to 10.43 seconds (regression method), and 10.11 seconds (ratio-increasing method), respectively.

This programme consisted of 8 menus, which are basic information, job worksheet, technique information, management analysis, file management, window management, help and conclusion. The major functions of this programme by menus classified as follows : 1. The basic information menu, which consisted of a lots of basic farm management information, can be easily accessible to get general farm status of S/W users and inputted data used as basic data for farm management analysis. 2. In worksheet menu, users can easily access to record and search of farm work planning, contents of work, agricultural materials and selling status. 3. In management achievement menu, lots of indexes which represent one years' management achievements are produced and can be compare this years' achievements with last years' ones. This programme Delphi5 and Object pascal programme were used for tools and languages. Also Paradox4 and BDE were used for DB and DB engine respectively.
일반화된 Active Contour Model을 이용한 변형 물체의 움직임 추적과 분석에 관한 연구

본 논문은 일반화된 Active Contour Model을 이용하여 연속적으로 입력되는 영상에서 변화하는 물체의 움직임 추적과 분석 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 연속적인 영상 프레임에서 물체 경계의 추적은 외곽선 모델의 에너지 함수를 최소화하므로써 이루어진다. 물체의 추적, 적응적인 움직임 예측의 효율을 증가시키기 위하여 입력되는 영상에 존재하는 일시적인 움직임 정보를 이용하였고 물체의 움직임과 변형 처리를 위하여 움직임 추적 알고리즘으로부터 변형 행렬을 유도했다. 본 논문에서 제안한 일반화된 Active Contour Model을 입술추적 실험의 행동 분석에 적용하였다. 그리고 그 응용에서 전위 벡터와 변형 행렬의 일시적인 변화는 인간 얼굴 특징의 국부적 변형을 설명하는데 이용된다.

This paper considers the problem of detecting elliptical curves using Advanced Hough transform. Storage and efficiency problems are over come by decomposing the problem into two stages. The first stage uses a novel constraint as the basis for a Randomined Hough transform to detect the ellipse centre while the second stage finds the remaning parameters using simple but efficient focusing implementation of the Advaned Hough transform. The method is applicable in many situations where previous Hough transform schemes would fail. Results are demonstrated for comolicated image data containing several occluding ellipses.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the biofilm reactors capable of doing high efficiency treatment. Vertical fluidized bed biofilm reactor(VFBBR) and spiral fluidized bed biofilm reactor(SFBBR) was used for their performence in biodegradation of artificial sewage. The factors influencing the efficiency of those reactors were compared with difference of physical condition. They had same size but different structure to gain access of its unique characteristics. When recycle solution with flow rate of 22 mL/min and artificial sewage with flow rate of 2-10 mL/min were fed into two reactors in aerobic state, the average COD, removal rate for biodegradation of SFBBR was greater than VFBBR. After reactor feed sewage was constantly maintained as flow rate of 4 rnL/min and the recycle solution were changed to 10-32 mL/min respectively, the average COD,, removal rate of artificial sewage in SFBBR was greater than VFBBR. In this experiment for addition of support media into two reactors SFBBR was 4.1% excellent than VFBBR. Above all, SFBBR excelled VWBR in boidegradation of organic matter in sewage.

Background: Arterial stiffness has been suggested as one of the major pathological mechanisms of cerebral small vessel diseases (cSVDs). In this study, we confirmed this hypothesis by evaluating the association between vascular overload index (VOI), which is a physiologically good indicator of arterial stiffness, and cSVD. Methods: We evaluated participants who visited Seoul National University Hospital Health Promotion Center for health check-ups between 2006 and 2013. VOI was calculated by the following formula: VOI (mmHg)=1.33×systolic blood pressure -0.33×diastolic blood pressure-133.3. cSVDs were measured including white matter hyperintensity (WMH), lacunes, and cerebral microbleeds (CMBs). We quantitatively measured the WMH volume and rated the presence and number of lacunes and CMBs qualitatively. Results: A total of 3,231 participants were evaluated (mean age 57±9 years, male sex 53.9%). In multivariable linear regression analysis, VOI was significantly associated with WMH volume after adjusting confounders (β=0.004, 95% confidence interval=0.002–0.006). VOI also showed a close association with lacunes in multivariable logistic regression analysis (adjusted odds ratio=1.01, 95% confidence interval=1.00–1.02). There was no statistical association with CMBs. In subgroup analysis according to the presence of hypertension, VOI was closely associated with WMH volume/lacunes only in patients without hypertension. In patients with hypertension, these statistical associations disappeared. Conclusion: A high VOI was associated with cSVD in a neurologically healthy population, especially in patients without hypertension. This marker of arterial stiffness could be convenient and useful predictor of cSVD.
